Everyone is kind and helpful. Breakfast is good and we love the location.
This is the first time we've stayed in a room in the front. Very loud street until late at night and starting up again early in the morning. All the other rooms we have had have been much quieter.

The location was great. A few blocks from the central cathedral. We enjoyed the walk. The included breakfast was delicious. The staff from the restaurant was very attentive. The check in and check out was speedy.
The water pressure in the morning. We had to call the lobby 3 times to have them do something so we could have water pressure for the toilet and shower. It wasn’t until the 3rd call that it was resolved. That was annoying.

Check out - as a mistake was made so I was charged higher costs and the front desk officer did not know how to correct it so the whole check out process took approx. 30 minutes.

Friendly and responsive staff. Clean, quiet and very well-appointed. Somewhat more distant from historic center (the Cathedral) than we expected, but still in a lively neighborhood and only a 15-minute walk from the historic center.

The service was excellent, the staff responsive, the breakfasts delicious and the location wonderful.
It took a long time for the hot water to arrive in the shower.

the location
the ancient of the property does not match at all with the rooms on the first floor, plus, there is not privacy in the restroom; all the restrooms doors are almost transparent.

Casa Madero offered a pleasant stay. The beds were comfortable and the noise level was low considering it is on a busy street. The staff were helpful and were able to arrange a laundry service during our stay for a very reasonable price. The historic building is beautiful and across the street from a park, famous aqueduct, and various restaurants.
The rooms are not exactly as described. We asked for a room with a balcony but were given a room with an external street-facing window. This was ok considering the other options. The few rooms with balconies face an interior covered patio so it's not really a balcony to step outside to. We also did not like the bathroom situation. The bathroom had no real door, only a glass window separation which means you are easily able to see the toilet from the rest of the room. Not sexy. We also found it strange that there was no desk or table in the room. Luckily we weren't working remotely, but if you are, beware that that there is nowhere to work. Lastly, while the hotel states that it has a restaurant, we only saw it operating during the breakfast service, so it really is not a place you can sit with other customers. The complimentary breakfast was good, but no menu was offered, so you had to decide between eggs and chilaquiles on the spot. The waiter tried to offer some ideas like "scrambled or divorciados," but a simple printed menu would have been better.

I loved this hotel. There are only 12 rooms, but it's a boutique hotel with services that make it 5*. We originally booked one night, then extended it two more nights. The wifi is exceptionally fast (I attended two meetings) (Ubiquiti Access Points). The wait staff and reception staff are genuine and caring. They brought me coffee and snacks to keep me happy during my long meeting. The restaurant food is fantastic; the bar makes strong drinks. The location is perfect for your trip to Morelia, it's within walking distance to all the fun stuff, and yet without the noise. We love the Mexican themes, the open-air patio, the rooms, and the curved staircase. My partner was SO in love with this place, that we shall be staying here next year too.
The music in the back lobby area plays relatively late in the night, so remember to close your balcony doors. Though I think they can turn that down if you ask.

Hotel was very clean, staff was very nice /attentive. Good was delicious!

Location and staff was excellent
The property was under a huge construction project that kind of limited atractivos at hotel! They still were accommodating but should have discounted or let use know before arrival..

The venue is really nice and the overall room's setup is good. Location is great. Overall room's and hotel decor is really nice.
Upon our arrival, we discovered that the big patio area is undergoing renovation... that wasn't disclosed in Booking when we reserved and certainly is quite annoying (dust, noise). If we had known, we would most certainly have chosen another option or we would have expected a discounted rate.
We asked the hotel for some rate discount due to this situation but they declined, claiming we booked thru Booking... all that they offered was 10% off in food.At the end they sent us two complementary drinks...
Staff is unquestionably friendly but they lack proper training to solve simple 'unexpected' issues (valet parking and included breakfast options for instance).
WiFi doesn't work properly (very limited or no connection at all throughout our stay.
Better lighting in the bathroom/shower would be highly appreciated.

It seems to be well decorated but it was under remodelation so we did not enjoy as much
The wifi did not work, neither the tv. Additionally the hotel was being remodeled and we had no warning of this fact

Had an amazing stay at Casa Moderó. Staff was so friendly and helpful. The breakfasts were delicious. The hotel is an easy 10 minute walk to the Catedral and centró histórico. The room was very quiet and comfortable. The area is safe and friendly. We would definitely return.
It was hard to find critical feedback. The only thing was the water pressure in the shower was low when using hot water. But that’s it! Everything else was excellent.

Facilities were great and staff outstanding
It did not have a pool
