We loved the location and the rooms. Rooms were spacious and comfortable. The best thing we liked about the property was the hosts. They were very helpful, considerate and friendly. They were always there to help and assist for every needs.
Pretty Much Nothing.

Richard was an exceptional host and I look forward to my next stay. The town was a little sleepy in August but it must be tremendous during ski season.
It was perfect.

Amazing six course dinner served by extremely friendly waiter for whom nothing was too much trouble. Fantastic choice of breakfast served by delightful waitress. The sauna was also great after a hard day's skiing.
Only thing missing was a bar/ area to sit and have a predinner drink. A kettle in the room would also have been a welcome addition.

Great staff, very clean, fantastic food, perfect ski in and out location.
It could be improved by having a lounge/ bar area to spend time relaxing in.

The Pension Grissemann offered half board. The meal quality was as I expected. The evening meal was 6 courses. Simple but good, especially the soups. And if you couldn't eat what was on offer on the night the chef quickly prepared something else. The décor was very nice in the dining room and my room. Great drying room for ski gear. Great location. Extremely short walk to ski out in morning and you could ski right back to the front door at the end of the day. Staff friendly. The two house cleaning ladies left your room spotless every day.
I was there for 16 nights and after 8 nights my bed linen still hadn't been changed. I asked for it to be changed and was told it was due the next day but they would change that night if I wanted. Everything was in German - the info in the room, the menus, notices in lifts etc. So if you don't speak german like me, you have no idea what is going on in either the pension or the village. All the tourist info in the room is available in English. Just go to the tourist office and pick it up. On Wednesday nights there is no dinner which you are informed about prior to booking. What you are not told is that on Wednesday's they offer cake and coffee after skiing in the dining room, but if you can read german apparently there is a notice in the lift letting you know on that morning. The staff at breakfast don't tell you. Also the dining room is small which means you will likely be sat with strangers at dinner. As I was on my own I was didn't have a permanent table for the stay like couples or families did. I was bounced around most of the time sometimes seated with older people who didn't speak English or chose not too. It was not comfortable sitting there through 6 courses having two people chat away and not understanding. I would much rather sit on my own and when there were free tables I would have liked to be given the option to sit on my own. Had the information on the pension stated you would have to share a table and that all written information was only in German I would not have chosen to stay here. It was a shock to me. When I last stayed in Lech the Pension I stayed at had menus in german with English underneath. Information in room and on TV screen was in both german and English and if you travelled on your own you got your own table to dine at. It was up to you whether you joined others.
