Beautifully rustic, quiet village. Hot shower and very friendly and communicative host.

Great host, delicious breakfast, nice location. We May come back.

I wanted to stay in a rustic home in a rurual setting and that's what this was. It's not fancy furniture or fancy aesthetics- it's charming though.
I expect that most people who book Antonis's place, tend to drive there as although Antonis was very helpful with answering my questions as to how to get near his village using the intercity bus from Larnaca direction heading Limassol, it was not that simple to figure out as the bus services in Cyprus appear to be as they are in Greece- namely obscure.
One has to get off the bus at a motorway rest stop at another village and then catch a taxi which costs 15 euros each way. Antonis supplied me with the contact details for the local taxi driver who agreed to pick me up.

.spacy rooms, quiet place
Maybe sometimes it was a nice place, but now it looks abandoned and not maintained
4.3
Amazing host and amazing breakfast.
4.3
The apartman seems to be authentic, but simple
poor. Under our apartman, a local worker man
lives, he listend loud music every night. He did
not speak english, so we must used ear plugs
every night. Good vacation…
The breakfast was few and poor.

Very basic accommodation. If you like the feel of a village house & want yo experience this, then Teachers House fits that.
Very basic. Room had a fridge door that did not close. Wasted electricity & nothing stayed cold.
Could do our washing which eas great.
4.3
Very nice owner. The best place to discover Eastern Cyprus and the Troodos mountains. The atmosphere was unforgettable and the room was decorated in a traditional style. Very good breakfast and homemade cake.
4.3
Authentic cypriot house in a center of old village. Interior, fireplace, friendly cat and breakfast in the morning creates a relaxing atmosphere - perfect for couples holiday.
4.3
Very sweet place and beautiful neighborhood. Simple and satisfying
4.3
Very friendly host, relaxing location and excellent breakfast. We really enjoyed our stay!

Very relaxing and calm place. Probably it was low season (before Christmas), but we see only few people around during the week stay. Room is big and clean. Breakfast is great and refreshing. Internet connection is fast, also some public wifi is available around. Also mind your transport connection - rented car is the best option, some transfer from airport also can be good. By car you can access Nicosia, Limassol and Larnaca in less then 1 hour. Local roads are good and almost empty. Not sure if public transportation or taxi is viable option here. Parking in front of house was very convenient.
Really don't know what to say

Excellent breakfast delivered to the room. Very kind owner

The listing promised amazing breakfast and it was an amazing breakfast. The room was with shared balcony and had nice view to village and mountains. The bed was comfy although smaller people would have hard time to get in (pretty high)
No downsides.
4.3
the property is very nice, the room was huge and had almost everything we could need (including a corkscrew). the bed was incredible, very high, and very comfy. the breakfast was great and the host was very friendly. there was parking available.
there was no hairdryer in the room.
4.3
Incredible hospitality! And the best breakfast!
4.3
Authentic option to experience local culture. Everyone is super friendly, the building is nice and all is topped by an exquisite breakfast. The host sent all the necessary information beforehand which was super helpful. We really enjoyed the stay overall.
Our room was a former stable, which was gently renovated and very spacious. Unfortunately, the quality of the air was not great, given the fact there were only a few tiny windows which were positioned very high. Also, this setting makes the room very dark and requiring constant artificial lighting even during the day.
4.3
Nice and original place, made all by stones with authentic part of the old structure. Inside it smells bit humidity but with air condition all is solved. Enough space for your own kitchen, nice decorated table and a high bed. It was a nice surprise. Breakfast has many home made ingredients, like the orange jam really tasty and special. The owner is really nice person and it was interesting to get some informations about the region and local activity as wine tasting.
Nothing special. Maybe bathroom bit small but it was not so a problem considering the unique of the building.

The owner was very helpfull. I loved his hospitality. The interiors of the apartaments were made in stone, the architecture was unique. We could experience the climate of Cyprus village, Its' not commercial side.
If I had to suggest sth to the owner I would recommend to make the breakfasts more varied and bigger, to experience all flavors of Cyprus!

The owner took initiative to contact us in order to see that we were ok with the location and let us know where to find the apartment s keys. The house was traditionally built with a nice yard. Took us back to an old fashioned way of living.
Unfortunately the house was not clean. A friendly cockroach gave us her regards when we opened the front door. There was dust and a greasy residue in the electric cables. Also there were no bathroom supply- only a pre used shampoo in the bathroom.

Great place with great nice owner, one of the best I've visited in Cyprus. It is located in the beautiful quiet village with very nice people. I had very clean room with comfortable bed and had there everything, what I needed, also with beautiful view. Breakfast was absolutely tasty and great.
Nothing.

very nice and helpful host - thank you Antonis, great breakfast, very calm place.
Would recommend to rent a car (also Antonis can help with renting a car)
4.3
The place is beautiful, I had a very nice time speaking to the hosts grandmother
The host was not there to greet, the breakfast was in the room a night early which did not seem fresh. The village does not have a proper place for dinner or lunch, the tavern is not so great
4.3
Excellent.Lovely village, lovely rooms, great breakfast and made feel very welcome.

We both loved this place. It was very quiet and you have an amazing view to the mountains during sunset. Zygi is just a 5 minutes ride with the car and the owner recommended a fantastic fish restaurant there ( Hercules) where we had fish mezze. It was so delicious. The bed is very comfortable and the room is equipped with everything and more that you need. This place has a soul;). The next morning the owner made us a fantastic breakfast in the garden. It really was better than anything we expected. Thank you so much and we hope we will be back soon.

The atmosphere was amazing there!
The breakfast was really tasty.
the owner is so hospitable. I would like to come back one more time.

a blissfully quiet and beautiful location and a lovely traditional room; the bed was exceptionally comfortable and everythibg very clean

Teacher's House is a lovely family guesthouse which I strongly recommend if spending the night in Maroni. When I arrived Cyprus was still under lockdown so for an extra 10 Euro they cooked a big dinner for me. The location is great at the heart of the little old village. Everyone in the family was very kind and friendly. Nice views from the balcony as well. Absolutely wonderful hosts!
Nothing at all. It was absolutely a magnificent place to stay in Maroni.
4.3
Breakfast and the homemade food was a dream. Would recommend it to everyone.
The kitchen was a bit underequipped for usual cooking.
