Location and facility to entry, checking and checkout
The rooms don’t have air conditioning or fan, at the summer the room is too hot

Very convenient location
Felt more like up-market student accommodation than a hotel

Location is great, picking up the keys was very well organized since we arrived out of the reception work time. The room was spacious, warm, very clean with great appliances. We had coffee, tea and also drinks as present. Bed was also great. Staff was also great. Overall, we will come back. Danke.

At least one of the three heating radiators was actually working.
It's "Garni" hotel, so no staff, no help desk and reception, everything self-serving. You can off course always call them or communicate over the booking.com. They have asked me would I like breakfast, three times, but when I've asked them should I leave the key in a safe outside and how would they collect 5€ City tax, no answer. And in the morning, I couldn't find anyone from the staff so we left key where we found it (safe deposit box) and went our way. And half an hour later, when we were on other side of the town, they called me that I cannot just leave before talking to the staff??! And that I should come back to pay for taxes. And when I did come back, I had to wait for receptionist just to find that she doesn't speak a word of English!

Linda provided a generous, healthy, tasty buffet breakfast, Seating was comfortable in a nicely decorated room. The hotel has a lot of history - three generations. Location was quiet and secure with good free parking almost next door. Close to the city centre. Good value for the price.
Pillows were too soft.

The apartment is near the old city. The building used to be an old people's home.
It was a little creepy.

Great staff, could not have been more helpful. The whole place is exceptionally clean. The breakfast was good but perhaps overpriced for a cold buffet. The “triple room” is actually a mini-suite with joined double and single bedrooms with shared mini-kitchen and bathroom, would be very comfortable for a small family.
The feel of the place is a bit odd - the first floor is a medical clinic, with the hotel reception on the ground floor and bedrooms on the second to fourth, and I suspect the rooms were originally built for the clinic in some way, and still have a clinical feel - a lot more could have been done to make them more homely, e.g. pictures on the walls and rugs on the floors.
The hotel is further from the centre than I would have liked, although it is only 10 minutes walk from Jacomini Platz, from where there are regular trams into the centre, as well as busses to the university and train station.

The rooms are spacious, the location is great. Room service was good, but did not seem to come every day. Beds are very comfortable. The room was very cheap.
There was someone at the reception only very rarely. The bathrooms feel like from an old people's home, and the showers are terribly small, and you are bound to splash water everywhere. Sadly the outdoor pool directly behind the hotel does not seem to be accessible.

The location is central and I had a garage where I could park my car. The breakfast was ok. The room was clean and the personnel was very friendly.
I booked for one single person through booking.com for relatively high price and therefore did not checked carefully any additional information. Overall I paid 330 Euro for only two nights for a rather simple double bed room. The bathroom of this room was shared with another single room. Since I did not known if it's booked I was not sure if someone else might appear at any time point with whom I would need to share the bathroom. Fortunately no one came, however, this situation made me feel discomfortable. For about 150 euro per night I would have expected at least a private bathroom and a bit more luxury. While my stay was overall ok I found the room for one single person heavily overpriced.

All good nothing to complain about.

Host was really friendly. They upgraded us to another Hotel which was a surprise! Very nice accommodations. The garage was perfect for our bicycles.
We were not early to breakfast so the selection was quite thin. They did not replenish the trays.

Size of the room
Wow breakfast is SOOOO overpriced for bread and sliced meat from the supermarket.
You could hear other doors close in the hallway all morning/evening

The appartment was large and well equipped. Two bedrooms. Good for onenight stay. 10 min walk from the center. There were free places to park on the street. Key was in safe.
Reception closed at 6 p.m. After that not possible to use hotel parking - but there was free place on the street. Room furniture is aged.
