Amazing stay with spectacular views. A mini-Santorini!

The property was clean and comfortable and also had the most spectacular views. This included sunset views. You could see Ano Meria right across to the Chora. The staff were also very easy to deal with and very attentive. Apartment included free transfer from the ferry port and luggage handling. It’s a family business so they really cared.

Lucky I didn’t need to cook but if I did, I felt the kitchen was only enough for a very basic meal. Other than that, it was fine. Good enough for coffee and storing cold drinks to sip on the balcony.

Great place awesome view of the sea and the main Landmark of Church on Mountain Top Close to everything but need a car Big room Quiet and the staff was chill and helpful.

The bathroom is tiny shower is on toilet The kitchenette is tiny and smells damp the kitchen closets And the big steep hill. You def need a car to go up and down that everyday

a wonderful stay

Adonis picked us up from the port .. was waiting for us and everything was great about our stay in Belvedere. the location is beautiful with breathtaking views . the studio was big and airy with lovely terraces . the pool area is also lovely even though we swam at the beaches in Folegrandos. the island is beautiful and would highly recommend a trip. I would highly recommend Belvedere and Adonis and Yiannis are lovely people who look after their guests very well.

Very good

The location was really good, close to town and with wonderful views. The owner was helpful and polite, and assisted us with anything we needed.

The bathroom was not too clean and the shower was not very practical to use..

The bed and the view were great. Room was cleaned daily.

The bathroom and kitchen could do with some maintenance/upgrades. The wifi signal was weak.

Superb

Everything was exceptional, the view, the space, the shuttle service provided and kindness. Wonderful apartment with a lot of space and terrace. Very quiet location but very close from the village. Really a place that I recommend.

Awesome view

Just far enough away from town and off the main road made this place peaceful and quiet. The rooms have an awesome view looking out over the sea and the town. Easy walk into town and the host was very accommodating.

Amazing view, spacious nice room, clean, enjoyable breakfast and swimming pool, and nice warm people

Amazing hospitality - they came over to greet us at the port and drive us with their van to the hotel. Were very accommodating and helpful.

Everything was excellent, honestly.

Would definitely recommend despite small drawbacks

Super nice and friendly host, picked us up from the port when we arrived and brought us back to the port on departure day (free of charge). We asked if a washing machine was available - we were told the hotel could wash some clothes for us (also free of charge). The room service was daily and very thorough: new sheets and towels, bathrooms cleaned and also cleaned some dishes if they haven’t been cleaned by yourself yet. The pool available at the accomodation is a nice luxury. Although we were not really using it to the fullest. A big parking place in front of the hotel is available, though we did not rent anything and as such did not use it. Apparently you are not supposed to use the roof of your apartment-house as terrace (you can enter the roof only via climbing through a window). However, the host allowed us to use it as long as we were careful! Since the hotel is located ontop of a hill, the view over Chora is nice, would definitely recommend cooking sth yourself and eating it on the roof with a view - right before sunset. Bus stop to Agali beach is near to the apartment. Small general tip for Folegandros: you have a very nice sunset not only from the church on the hill near Chora, but you can climb the hill further up -> less people and cooler view. Just keep left towards the cliffsode and climb higher and higher. At the top you will see a round stone pillar (you can climb ontop of it and stand/sit for some cool fotos!). There you have a great view and can enjoy the sunset, afterwards go to the Chora and enjoy a good meal (Restaurant Chic was pretty nice but in reality all of them looked good). We brought some water, a beer and music with us to the top. Since we were the only one’s on top (all the others only climbed the hill up to the church) we did not disturb anyone and also had a nice experience. Another tip: there are 2 bus companies on the island.

To get to the apartment from the Chora you have to walk a few minutes, the hotel is located on a hill - the last bit is a bit steep, but I mean thats not really a problem. Only if you’re dependent on a wheelchair or even a baby carriage this apartment wont be for you. The shower didnt have any curtains, so the whole bathroom got wet everytime we showered. However, other apartments we booked also didnt have any shower curtains so mybe this is normal. The kitchen was equipped sparingly (1 cooktop, no sharp knives, the pan was not non-stick). However, it wasn’t too much of a problem and we cooked in our apartment 2/4 nights.

What a view to wake up to! Wonderful location - great to explore the rest of the island and close walking to the Chora. You can also use the pool next doors. Folegnadros is a small, undiscovered gem among other Greek islands, and I highly recommend you go discovering it!

You have to walk up a high hill to get that view ;)

Fantastic view on the beautiful island of Folégandros

The view and the big pool. The friendly staff and the fact that transfer from and to the port was arranged. I could take a shower before leaving.

The last stretch to the hotel is not really suitable for those having trouble walking.
