Great position in Puerto Escondido, nice swimming pool, relaxing environment, very friendly owner and staff
10.0
Hotel it’s Swiss oasis is location the heart of zicatela so you don’t have to walk to far too the waves and bars/restaurants. The rooms are spacious and very clean. The pool felt amazing after a hot day in the sun. Manuela was very nice and offered me lots of advice about the city and stuff to do.

Everything! I’ve given 10/10 for all the facilities, comfort, cleanliness, pool- fabulous and the hosts were so friendly.
Location is great! Highly recommended!!
Nothing.

The hotel is very clean, the staff were very accommodating and friendly, the location is pretty much right on the beach, there’s a/c in the rooms,
On weekends you can just about hear the music from the clubs in your room which is slightly annoying, although a nice property I think it’s a touch expensive for Puerto Escondido

Location, amenities, cleanliness, and friendliness of the staff.

This is not a luxury hotel but it is very well designed so that you have everything you need and are very comfortable. For example, the aircon is quiet and effective, there are spaces to sit and relax, there is a kitchen to making drinks and snacks (with a fridge full of water, beer and soft drinks available to purchase through an honesty system), there are screens on the windows, the pool area is clean and nicely planted. We really enjoyed it.
The hotel is near to bars that at the weekend play loud music until late into the night. It is not very loud but the bass can be heard!

Our stay in the hotelito was just great. We were lucky we could accommodate directly after night spent in the bus, we got reccommendation for a breakfast place and what beach is good for swimming, since Zicatela is rather for walks or surfers, but great for watching the sunset. Our room was lovely, fan/ac,shower, worked very well. I loved the swimming pool and sunlounge area. They keep the pool super clean also the rooms. There is also shared kitchenette, which is a great idea. I can highly recommend this place for you next stay in Puerto Escondido.

Almost everything
Noisy, poor water pressure , but not the fault of the owners! They were great!

Hotelito Swiss Oasis lived up to the billing. It was quiet, the pool and gardens were exquisite, the room and bed were clean and comfortable. The staff was very pleasant and respectful…. as were all of the guests! It was a wonderful stay.
Spending a few more days there!

very comfortable and accommodating hotel with extremely friendly hosts.
somewhat noisy at nights due to proximity to the club scene.

We met many interesting travelers including the gracious hotel owners. It is located off the main street and centrally located to playa Zicatela’s restaurants, shops, beautiful beach & sunsets.
Can’t think of anything we didn’t like about the hotel but understand, this is a beach town in Mexico so some nights it can be a noisy Mexican beach town. The hotel / owners have no control over this. The hotel is off main street so 1st floor rooms can be much cooler and quieter.

Small size of hotel… only 8 rooms. Really nicely maintained. Very clean. Lovely pool. Location close to beach and shops, restaurants. Friendly owners , the kitties and Luna, the dog. Nice guests staying there. Quiet. Reasonable pricing.
Nothing.

Very peaceful hotel owned by a very nice Swiss couple. we enjoyed the calm and the cleanliness of the property. Would definitely come back again

The location couldn't be better, it is right across the street from the beach, and in a central + walkable area. The common area was very comfortable and we spent a lot of time there during the heat of the day and in the cooler evenings. The owners were very helpful and easy going, we had a lot of nice conversations with them and other folks staying there. Many of the folks we met seemed to really enjoy it there and it was conducive to longer stays
The location is near a few clubs and popular area, it got quite loud from that some nights, but it was expected given the location

had a lovely stay with manuela ans rene. they are super friendly and helpful, the hotelito is very clean, charming and has a great pool to hang out at.
5.0
The location was very good, right across from Zicatela beach, although the entrance is not nice at all - down a dirty small corridor with construction happening. the colour scheme & decor of the exterior was pleasant.
The beds are super hard & very uncomfortable. We stayed in 7 places on this trip and these beds were by far the worst. First night was very loud staying on the second floor so we moved to the ground floor which was much better for noise. Swiss Owner didn’t acknowledge our sleep discomfort with the beds and had a “I told you so” attitude when discussing the noise. Due to the attitude we would not go back.

Our entire stay was excellent. Not only our host were very helpful and friendly, they were always reachable and happy to help. The hotel was also very nice and well taken care of. Having a kitchen there was also amazing! Including access to water and coffe at any time. The pool was clean and the environment around the hotel in general was also great. The location of the hotel was excellent as the beach is just infront. May we visit Puerto Escondido again, we wouldn't hesitate to come back to the Swiss Oasis.

We had an amazing stay at the hotelito! Everything was perfect from the huge bed to the shower to the luxurious pool and outside area. Huge shout-out to the German couple running the place, they showed us the best hospitality and gave us all the inside tips and tricks for Puerto Escondido!
Highly recommended!!

Hotel was a little off of the main st. Room and bathroom were a nice size. Shower worked well and beds and sheets were comfy. Staff was great! Hotel was quiet.

The outdoor areas were beautifully maintained. The pool area was perfect after returning from a long day at the beach.
One area for improvement would be the access to wifi. The wifi worked around 50% of the time of our stay.

I loved the grounds. The landscaping is amazing. The communal kitchen was a nice feature. It was a very short walk to the beach, shops, and restaurants.

Very clean and well maintained room and facilities, friendly staff. Very close to beach and bars and restaurants.
Close to the hotel are some bars and restaurants so at some of the nights it was possible to hear the (live) music from there during the night, but I used earplugs and since I was tired enough from the day I could sleep but if someone has a light sleep it could be bothering
8.0
The location, cleanliness, pool, resident cats, and that it is kid free.
Wifi is spotty.
4.0
The pool water was clean.
To be fair, I did not research well enough. But..the property is not very nice at all. Very unaestheticly appealing. Plastic pool and outdoor furniture, a mish mash of decor, a broken metal ladder into the pool, horrific linens (one old, pink bath towel) and bedding (red sheets, 2 white pillows, no other bedding). Broken old mismatched tiles in bathroom Loud music from local bar played til 4:30 am my first night.
