Wonderful location right on Exmouth beach. All the staff are super friendly and happy to help with anything! Really great gem.
There’s nothing I didn’t like, I thought it was all great!

Comfy quiet room lovely breakfast plenty of choice. Friendly staff. Beautiful dining room.
Building slightly tired looking and a bit of a smell of drains. But it was in town too so think they had a problem.

No toiletries or enough coffee

If you’re paying to stay in the hotel you shouldn’t be paying £6.50 a night to park that has put us of staying there again

View, View, View - Location is excellent with good parking facilities.
Staff are knowledgeable and polite and the addition of a small welcome pack in the room with some history of the hotel is a nice touch.
Decor is a little tired and would benefit with an update. We did not book for breakfast as previous experience it was very basic and there are some lovely places to eat nearby.

I liked being right on the sea front so location very good.
Staff were very friendly and helpful.
Decent size car park and fee reasonable.
Nice outside seating area outside bar.
Liked the style of the hotel and with more money spent on it, it would be beautiful
Mattress was too hard, requested topper which was a thin layer so didn’t help very much.
Had to ask for extra pillows twice.
We had afternoon tea which was lovely but would have preferred if they had a chat with us before bringing out. Two of us didn’t eat salmon sandwiches which was a waste. Would have preferred more of the ones we liked.
We had to ask for our glass of proscecco which was included.
Paint peeling off bedroom walls and wood on balcony very tired looking including furniture was a bit dated although this wasn’t every room.
So although staff were friendly and helpful there was just these things that could have improvement.
Buffet breakfast decent although beans and tomatoes weren’t great but the rest was.

Position good, bedroom good
No hot water had to move room, then was told to move back, was eventually sorted.
Then , he put do not disturb the door and told reception, but it was ignored, and all my sons sterile stoma equipment was knocked on the floor and left. He then gad to obtain more! And re clean the bathroom so he knew it was sterile for him to change his bag.

The hotel was very comfortable , friendly and location excellent
We will definitely stay again… in fact if it wasn’t fully booked we would’ve stayed longer ! We asked at reception but sadly no luck… until next time

Mostly all went as expected.
There was no orange juice for breakfast on the last two days of my stay this also happened on a similar vocation at the same time of year.
I understand that the hotel closes down on the 2nd of January but don't understand who orange juice could was not purchased from Tesco which is inly a 10 minute walk from the hotel.
There were other guests asking about orange juice.

Spacious rooms. Gentleman on reception on check in was delightful. Décor was pleasant. Room and bathroom was clean. Location was excellent.
Water pressure in shower was very poor. Breakfast was very basic, less options than normal for buffet style breakfast.

The location was good.
Parking charges payable even for the guests in the hotel. The room was not very great. It smelled really awful like it had guests with a dog and never cleaned after that.

Top class location
The beach was 3mins away

Staff very friendly, grounds were great as we had our dog, food was very good - breakfast was very good and we had dinner each night as well which was generally very good as well. We had a balcony with views of the sea and the Exe estuary. We were just a few minutes walk from the marina and the town, and a sandy dog-friendly beach was just across the road from the hotel, so location was excellent.
Room was a bit dreary and not much drawer space for a four night stay, not enough hangers! Room also not serviced one day so bin was full and drinks not replenished. However, good to have two chairs in room which were comfortable as were the beds.

Room, garden, location
Balcony not touched, not cleaned, shower gel wasn't filled up
9.0 / 10.0
Location good . Breakfast good but would of liked proper tomatoes instead of plum tomatoes in juice and mushrooms would of been good.
Scaffold outside our sea view window which ruined the view and had to keep curtains closed some of the time.

The food was very good and the location was excellent
Booked a superior sea view double. The room was nothing like the one in the photos. It was so disappointing as apart from the balcony there was nothing ‘superior’ about it with cheap furnishings and tired decor.

The location, the dining room, parking, the grounds, dog friendly and comfy beds and the cafe opposite!
Feels a bit unloved and not quite up to it’s potential.
