Great little spot

Excellent location and friendly staff. Clean rooms, nice showers. Great for solo travellers or those in a group of friends as they have single rooms which are cosy and compact. Breakfast included.

For the price paid there wasn't anything I didn't like

Despite the weather, superb short stay, will certainly return.

Great dog friendly hotel

I needed a dog friendly hotel and Harrow lodge exceeded my expectations. There was a dog friendly lounge to eat my breakfast in and Lauren and Rob were so helpful and looked after me and my dog. This is the best dog friendly hotel I've ever stayed in. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful. My room was cosy , I had a lovely walk in shower and toilet ensuite.

We only stayed one night. Breakfast was lovely too. What always impresses me is when hot food is served on a hot plate

The location. Parked easily outside. Loved the bar. Had a lovely meal and drink. Would give our meal 10 out of 10. Very comfortable bed. Very clean too.

Loved this place and would happily go back!

The staff, location and food were all fantastic, felt really welcome, warm and safe.

My mattress had a few bust springs, wasn’t the comfiest but I was able to sleep

breakfast was excellent. plenty of choices, full English, breakfast, croissant’s, fresh fruit salad, yoghurt, toast, and cereals. room was adequate , staff excellent very helpful & friendly. evening meal is great. Plenty of choices. Great location, beautiful views, sea & cliffs. Near to lift that goes to beach.

bathroom, a bit small, handbasin very small. ( room 5)

Staff very helpful and friendly. Overall condition of hotel, very well maintained and decorated, and very clean.

En-suite bathroom is a joke, shower tray about 2 ft by 2 ft, and basin a small corner unit . Other rooms were better we were told, do not stay in room 10.

A short but enjoyable experience.

The room was well appointed, very clean and tidy. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was immaculate. The staff were very pleasant and helpful and the breakfast had everything that you might expect in regard to choice.

Perched on the clifftop, this is a traditional family hotel with friendly, accommodating staff and a welcoming atmosphere. Our room was compact but spotlessly clean and the bed was very comfortable. It's a pet friendly hotel. Good value for such a great location.

In the newer extension at the rear the walls are thin and we could overhear every word said in the next room. The catering is homely - you're looking for fine dining or to eat later than 7pm there are other places nearby.

location was superb, the staff were unbelievably helpful and friendly. absolutely nothing was too much trouble. The quality of the food in the restaurant was also exceptional. 10/10 on all fronts.

We can honestly say that we have never stayed anywhere as welcoming and comfortable. Our two young granddaughters had just been diagnosed having celiac disease The staff went that extra mile to accommodate them both . Cannot wait to stay again

very enjoyable friendly hotel. will certainly book here again.

The property is in a lovely location and was very clean and tidy. staff had a lovely attitude and made the stay great.

only a slight niggle, I’m 6.2 and had to bend down to shower and minder the handset as the hose wasn’t long enough but it was a mixer valve over the bath. also it’s not thermostatic so had a few hot and cold moments but the girls loved the bath :-)

Ok but needs a revamp

Bathroom / Damp, Mould!!! and warped flooring ,very small Bar shut last night of my stay? Could have let the patrons know as I cut short a night out to come back to a dark locked bar? Heating off last night of my stay(the coldest) and although reception was informed and was told it would be on it never did? Breakfast was decent but varied daily on what was offered

I should be investigating more into detail before the booking.

The staff was very friendly and welcoming.

The room was too small. The heating was not working, so after the rain we had a problem to dry our clothes and shoes. The shower cabin is too small.
