Wonderful selection of breakfast, mix of Japanese, other Asian and Western. Good spread and very good service.
Rooms are well-appointed and sea views are amazing.
Perhaps housekeeping was a little too eager to get us out of the room when we got up a bit late from bed, but their service was exceptional.

Proximity to the exhibition centre
Breakfast was a little crowded and generally not big enough for peak times. Coffee machine was very limited & it would have been nice to have a selection like a late or cappuccino.
Price of food in the restaurant was very expensive but the quality was OK
There was also a lack of a casual bar area on the lower floors.
9.0 / 10.0
Breakfast was eclectic and plentiful.
Location great for the Makuhari messe, with simple walking access to the station and many local dining establishments, bars and shops. Hotel bus to and from both airports is convenient and cheap.
Rooms a good size and of high quality.
Dining facilities excellent, but quite expensive. Breakfast not always of the highest quality.
Upstairs bar high quality, but expensive and a little soulless.
Don't forget the scale of Tpkyo; it's a fair distance to the city, with frequent standing on the train, or an expensive taxi ride.
Airport bus schedule is limited.

I chose this property only because it was next to Messe Makuhari the place where the conference I came to attend
I gad the worst experience in my life. The staff in the reception area were the worst people I have never felt that offended. I asked for an early check in and they asked for extra fees when I mentioned that I asked by messages before and you didn’t tell me this, he, his name was Nakamizo, threw a paper with the policy on the desk in my face and went away without speaking. Afterwards when it was 2 pm people were checking in more than 6 individuals no body asked them for early check in fee except for us they still charged us at 2:30 half hour before the actual check in! when we asked why we’re the only ones paying they said mmm those had a different plan. we really felt being discriminated and everyone there had such a bad attitude. I wouldn’t recommend this place even to an enemy! very very disappointed.

Location is excellent. Near the station and Makuhari center. We went there for my daughters entrance to Medical School.
The food service at the restraunt was poor. Food we had to wait for about an hour in addition they brought my wife's food first and the rest of us had to wait for another 20 minutes. My wife and I complained to the waiter, the manager and assistant manager. Usually I don't complain however this is The New Otani and would of expected better service than what I received.

Staff was amazing and patient. I didn't know much Japanese but they made me feel right at home and very welcomed. ❤️
Bathroom seems a bit dated, amazing everything else.

Breakfast was more than adequate and very enjoyable.
Location is easy to find and has nice views out the windows.
Nothing stood out as lacking during my stay.

The room itself was incredibly large for what I'm used to for stays in Japan. The hotel has a retro charm to it and the view from the rooftop restaurant/bar is really something. Love that it's a quick walk to the convention center.
They needed a credit card with raised digits for the payment at check in. None of my modern cards have that anymore, so it was a bit of a panic moment to deal with.

Location is great and staff is helpful. Had very little time as we came for Comic Con but super comfortable overall.

Very close to convention center in Chiba
This hotel has the worst open times for gym I have ever seen. Completely incompatible with work travelers. 10:00-19:00 on weekdays and completely closed on Sunday.

The hotel is well-located, very close to Makuhari Messe. The rooms are clean and comfortable, there's everything you need and the staff is very helpful.
We had a problem with booking, the hotel demanded a higher price than Booking.com showed.

- Very close to the messe
- Very nice view
- Very easy check-in and check-out
- Bath
- Well, it was notably expensive even with the weak JPN

I think this is the closest hotel to Makuhari Messe, so it’s quite convenient if you are attending conferences or events.
It’s quite old (probably built in 1980s), so the room facilities seemed quite outdated but still functioning well.

The service at this hotel is outstanding. All staff are warm and professional, provide top quality service during our stay.
The hotel is old so facilities are a bit out dated.

the property is clean and well maintained. everything was kept very clean!
the keys are actual physical keys and not keycards, but that is personal preference. the rooms do get cold when the AC is on, but during the summer, the AC struggles to keep the room consistently comfortable.

Breakfast was good, but it was the same everyday. We stayed for ten days so always being offered the same fare got a little tiring.
The hotel, in general needed a renovation. The paint was chipped and the the room could haved used updating. We were viviting our son and his family and there were no children's programs at all and onlyone English speaking station.
