A historic castle and winery set on beautiful grounds with a pool (unfortunately the weather was not kind to us😪)
The communal space near our room was inward facing so wasn't a place you wanted to congregate when it was raining.

Beautiful in every way; the property, location and facilities. Very friendly and helpful staff, nothing was too much. Our car had a puncture and the property manager Mario assisted us in getting it repaired by a local garage. The cellar is also amazing! We were provided with wonderful local recommendations for dinner, Il Leccio, Il Pozzo, both great food and service.

The most amazing stay at Argiano. the staff were beyond helpful and pleasant. they truly made us feel like we were the most important people there. definitely recommend staying here at least once in your lifetime.
the negatives were slim to none, however there are a couple things I would like to mention. there was no safe in the room and for travellers, that’s really important. additionally, the bed is extremely hard.

Everything was wonderful, the breakfast, the location, the gardens were beautiful. The staff was extremely helpful and accomodating.
The beds were a little too firm.

You are only 10 minutes away from Montalcino and a ton of restaurants yet you feel like you are in complete seclusion in the beautiful Tuscan countryside. Its simply stunning to wake up here every day. Make sure you also check out the hilltop town of Sant'Angelo in Colle that you can see from Argiano. It's an amazing little village with two very old churches that are open to the public with beautiful art inside. It also offers beautiful views of the Villa on the Argiano property.

I liked everything about the property the view the size of the rooms the quiet and the staff were very accommodating … the food was perfect their chef is very talented
it felt like home
the only thing that it was very isolated especially for people who would like to have road trips like us … it’s convenient for people who would like to relax and not to drive around
maybe a T.V would be nice too

beds were confortable and rooms were nice. It had nice views and breakfast is ok
The description said it had a restaurant, and 3 hours before the check in they told us the restaurant was closed (we found out later that it is never open) the closest town to eat is a 20 mins drive through dirt roads and it is a ghost town at night, you have very few options to eat. Since there was no restaurant we figured we could prepare our own dinner in the barbecue and kitchen area, but they told us we had to book more than 6 rooms to be able to use the barbecue and kitchen.
All of the activities listed are offsite or are non existent, including the bar, yoga clases etc.. The introduction tour at our arrival was full of rules and instructions which made us uncomfortable, and the most important thing: they did not change our towels during our stay, and for the price we paid it is just unacceptable.

We loved this hotel! The staff and facilities were amazing, this is a secluded hotel with the best views and even a winery. This is a fairly small boutique hotel with much privacy and a cozy feeling.
We had a great time, would definitely recommend!
The breakfast serving was a little slow...

This place is stunningly beautiful! The Castello was build in the 16th century, is still in a top condition and has a breathtaking view over the Tuscan area Val d’Orcia. We enjoyed every moment here including the sunset, the fantastic Brunello and the vineyard. No doubt, one of the best places I have been so far!

First of all do not worry about the small number of reviews - the place is quite new.
All you see on the photos is there: sophistically furnished rooms, clean baths, pleasant common rooms, garden with swimming pool and great views. Breakfast is very nice - I do not understand why people complain: cheese, ham and you can get scrambled or fried eggs. And they can even arrange gluten free products. Also did I mentioned there is full access to the kitchen all the time (so you can always bring your own food to the breakfast, prepare some meal). The visit to the winery and tasting local products (wine, olive oil and honey) is a must (go also and visit the cellar of the owner - makes quite an impression). The wine is also available in the room for a decent price (I recommend the Brunello). The estate covers some land - there is the currently renovated private building (we did not hear any noise from the construction), winery, chapel, garden with swimming pool etc, all on top of a hill - no wonder the road is really in bad condition (your sport car can suffer), but you can always fly with your private helicopter to the estate - like the owner (that is of course if you own a private helicopter).
People complain about the lack of a restaurant onsite - you need to cover some distance to get to near city (like Montalcino). I don't see that as a problem - just plan your lunch/dinner ahead and if you require more food onsite just bring your groceries and store them in the kitchen.
Only problem I encountered - when you are the only guest the spaciness of the estate might make you lose your sense of security in the night (I know that there are some staff people watching over).
