This stylish home seamlessly integrates its elegant design with the natural splendor of its surroundings through expansive floor-to-ceiling glass that invites the outdoors in.
The expansive open-plan lounge and dining area (90m²) is bathed in natural light, creating a warm and inviting ambiance perfect for relaxation and entertaining. A standout feature is the handcrafted timber dining table, stretching nearly the entire length of the room, ideal for memorable gatherings with family and friends.
The chef’s kitchen is a culinary delight, featuring a striking concrete benchtop, a 900mm wide oven and cooktop, a dishwasher, microwave, full-size fridge, and ample storage in drawers and a pantry.
Outdoor living is exceptional with decks wrapping around the north and east sides of the house, offering versatile, weather-protected spaces for al fresco dining and relaxation. The home includes two separate living areas, each with ocean views, full entertainment systems (TV/DVD), and free unlimited NBN Wi-Fi. The main lounge is equipped with a wood fire and two reverse cycle air conditioning units, ensuring year-round comfort. Extremely spacious and well furnished. Everyone had great fun with the pool table and table tennis. Wood was plentiful for the stove as well as firelighters. The kitchen was well equipped and had a large gas cooker, as well as provisions like tea, coffee, dishwasher tablets etc. We really wanted for nothing. Would highly recommend.

Stayed 3 nights in this magnificent contemporary house in a lovely quiet setting. Has everything needed for a fantastic stay. Only gripe - the house was not clean, dirty pots and plates in kitchen drawer, possibly from the previous guests, few spider webs with spiders and dust on picture frames etc. Interesting since I understand the cleaner was there just before we arrived. This is a magnificent house and it needs to be presented better, paricularly for the price.

Myself and 4 friends hired out the house for a weekend away. Our plan was to relax and connect with each other. The house is stunning and is far enough from town to feel like you're alone but close enough to quickly duck in for lunch or some takeaway. The contact people for the house were extremely responsive and helpful. Highly recommend

Nice but could have been much better
Beautiful specious property great view of Greenland fantastic fire place for winter but only one of the bedrooms is up to standard the other two had hardly any view and any good style. plenty of spiders and spider webs inside and outside property windows most of the corners inside covered by old webs, the cleaners could certainly do better job than that . Considering its a contemporary architectural space, The kitchen equipment pots and pants not good quality in a poor condition also the oven definitely not clean could not use. Overall nice place but has so much room to improve.

Perfect relaxing getaway
We rented this property for three nights and loved the space and architecture of the house. The house has something for everyone from pool, table tennis to a beautiful yard which our dogs enjoyed. We would definitely stay here again

Offered a refund due to no running water, but we are still waiting.
Unfortunately we experienced a series of long blackouts during our stay due to storms. The water is connected to the power so we were left with no running water for two of the three nights. We also had the owners father visit the property unannounced on two occasions. We were offered a small refund from the property manager Dennis but communication has now stopped and no refund was issued.
Positives: layout of the house, large garden area, table tennis and billiard table.
Negatives: no wifi, no air conditioning in bedrooms, large broken/cracked window.

Great property with good spaces. Not good for clients wanting accessible access ( as listed by the property) as there is stairs at every entrance. Lack of access made up for by the friendly koalas who were having a great party in the tree next to the house.

Family weekend
Cypress Hill is a beautiful property with some beautiful fittings and lots of activities to keep everyone busy. We had an enjoyable stay but encountered some issues with both the linen and quality/ maintenance of the property which I have taken up with Sharee and she is working with the owner to remedy these so future clients have a stress free time. We would love to stay again at Cypress Hill.

Fabulous house in great location
We had a wonderful stay at Cypress Hill. While ultra-modern and stylish, all the equipment is really simple to use (so we didn’t need to spend hours trying to work out how everything worked), and everything we needed was provided. The house is located on an acre of lovely lawns and native shrubs..perfect for playing games on the lawn (when not enjoying the views from the deck or playing pool on the pool table). Koalas in the trees surrounding the property were a bonus. Great experience just a couple of minutes drive from the beaches and cafes of Apollo Bay. Perfect!

Just what we needed
What an awesome break we had at Cypress Hill. We were so close to everything we needed but just far enough away to give us the privacy and seclusion we were so after. We felt right at home as soon as we arrived and would highly recommend staying in this beautiful home. Thankyou!

One of the all time greats!
Just left ‘Cypress Hill’ after a 12 night stay with the family. This place is amazing. They have thought of everything with the build and floorplan and the floor to ceiling glass all around makes a fantastic experience. A great location just out of Apollo Bay, you will feel relaxed the moment you drive through the front gates. Very clean, well managed and equipped, it’s the perfect family stay and is also pet friendly. Highly recommend! Will be back soon!

Great views and tranquility but close to town
The high glass walls provide an uninterrupted view of the property and surrounds, including a variety of bird life. The house has a very rural feel, but it is only 5 km from the restaurants and facilities in Apollo Bay (great bakery). The fireplace and air conditioners keep the lounge and kitchen warm and toasty, but the games room/study can be a little chilly.
Overall, this is a lovely place to stay during a journey along the Great Ocean Road.

Cypress Hill - wonderful designer home
The spacious and elegantly designed home provides a glimpse of the sea and is surrounding by landscaped gardens. With a very high level of amenity, including a great kitchen, spacious bedrooms and bathrooms, the house provides a wonderful get away just minutes from the beach. We really liked the high quality finishes and expanses of glass. The heating system and fireplace both worked very well. We highly recommend this property for a great holiday experience in a beautiful house.

Magnificent house
What a magnificent house. From the incredible front doors, the lovely courtyard garden, open fire and great kitchen, it was exactly what we were looking for. Close enough to Apollo Bay to be convenient but far enough to be private and cosy. The dogs loved the garden and it was great to get away as a family for our 10th anniversary. Thank you for allowing us to stay here. Will be highly recommending this property to everyone.

This property is so very beautiful. The floor to ceiling glass windows enable you to feel close to nature with all the modern comforts of a spectacular home. The billiard table was a real hit too! Spectacular property
We stayed at Cypress Hill for the Great Ocean Road Running Festival. We loved the location, views, architectural design and facilities at this property. A great kitchen and dining area to enjoy meals as a family by the fire. A pool table, table tennis and plenty of green space for playing outdoors.
The luxury soap was a nice touch in the en-suite.

Architectural gem in beautiful surroundings
What a house! Thoughtful workmanship and beautiful details with modern facilities. Loved every minute in it. Billiard and ping pong as well as board games and literature for many tastes. Not far away from Apollo Bay centre. Lots of birds in the surroundings as well as sheep on the field next door. And yes, we did see (and hear =D ) a koala just outside the house.
A bigger barbecue would be nice, though.
