About this house rental
SeeApollo is 1920's Bungalow with plenty of character. The original wing of the house includes stunning art deco features.
This 7 Bedroom, 3.5 Bathroom home was renovated extensively in 2021.
The lounge room and dining room include fireplaces for cosy nights in. The front garden is a great place to enjoy and get away from it all.
Close to town - a short walk to Apollo Bay Main Street and Beaches. Close to nature - with koalas in the trees across the road on Gambier St for much of the year.
At SeeApollo we have tried to create a home away from home. Somewhere to reconnect with friends or family with space for groups to relax and reconnect.
The kitchen is well stocked with cookware to allow groups to prepare home cooked meals.
Furniture and artworks have been selected to suit the character and age of the home.
Bedlinen and bath towels are included for each stay and the house has plenty of other blankets to keep cosy.
The house has ducted Heating & Cooling in the living spaces and Bedrooms 1 & 2. The bedrooms in the extension (bedrooms 3-7) are serviced by portable heaters and fans.
The lounge and dining room both include TVs with Free-to-Air, Stan, Apple TV+ & Netflix. We also have a well stocked boardgames cupboard for rainy days.
The building is designed for 10 Adults (maximum of 14 Adults) & 6 Children. An absolute maximum of 16 (including infants) can be accommodated.
Please note that only Bedrooms 1, 2 & 4 can accomodate a Portacot. Bedrooms 3, 5 & 6 cannot accomodate a Portacot (moving the Queen Beds in these rooms is not permitted as it damages the legs of the beds).
A starter supply of firewood is included. Additional wood is available for purchase.
Given that koalas and other wildlife often visit our property (something we want to encourage), we cannot accomodate pets.
The house includes an EV charger (Type 2 - 7 KW). EV Charging is metered and charged as per the rates in the guidebook.

We adored our stay at SeeApollo, the hosts were very thoughtful to anything the guests may need. The native birds visited the property every morning and we woke to the sound of kookaburras! And the games cupboard was a hit with the family. Especially "Poo Bingo". Cant recommend the property enough.

What a fantastic property to catch up with family and friends. The check-in process was easy and clear. The house was stocked with the most fantastic crockery and kitchen stables. We loved the coffee machine and the stocked tea that was made available. The rooms and bathrooms are outstanding, everything in the house was curated with care and extraordinary design insight. There is a games cupboard that the kids and adults loved during our stay. Everything was within walking distance, we walked everywhere despite the rain. In the morning you can hear the Kookaburra's, and the cows and sheep in the field not far from the house. The quality of everything in and outside the house was outstanding. Thank you so much for having us, we hope we will be back in the not-so-distant future.

Our family of 10 celebrated a very special birthday and had the best time. This home had the best of everything

The house was perfect for our long weekend getaway. Our group was a few families and kids of varying ages.
The older kids could walk into town by themselves. They all enjoyed playing hide n seek in the house & around the gardens.
It was an easy short walk into town to the bakery, brewery, beach, playground.
The outdoor area had plenty of chairs and a nice space to sit in & relax in the afternoon.
The key access was great, and easy to open up by everyone.
We had a great weekend and would throughly recommend

Gift basket on arrival. Amazing house, will be back again.

The property was equipped with everything we could possibly need. It was spacious enough for us to all be comfortable. The heating kept the house was warm and the open fires made for some lovely evenings! Thanks Chris and Robert,

this large house is very well equipped for a relaxing holiday. the attention to detail in all areas is outstanding, from the kitchen with every we could have need (and more) to multiple sitting/relaxing areas to either gather in a group or a quiet space to read. the bedrooms are beautifully decorated and extremely comfortable, the attention to detail the owners have provided is first class.

This property suited our group of 6 couples perfectly for our Xmas in July get together. The older style house has been renovated to provide excellent facilities to suit modern expectations. Easily sleeps 6 couples (and more if needed) and has enough room to relax. Indoor and outdoor seating for all, with large oven, big BBQ, excellent coffee machine and big fridge. We did not need to think about anything other then enjoying ourselves. The gardens on the property are superb and attract a variety of birds with predominately native plants and trees. The house oozes yester-year charm but has great ducted heating that compliments the open fireplace. Put this place on the top of your list if you need accomadation in Apollo Bay!

Given it was winter, it was wonderful to have open fires, on top of the central heating, and enjoy a red left by our hosts. They have thought of everything and are very generous with their provisioning of the house. The kitchen has every utensil you can think of and more than enough plates and glasses for a large group. It was great to be able to sit together around the dining table. We will definitely be back to enjoy the beautiful outdoor garden in warmer weather. Heaps of places to sit and chat outside and enjoy the view.

They thought of everything!
Chris and Robert are among the most considerate hosts available.
We were greeted to a very clean property with a fuss free check-in/check-out process, and a welcome basket upon arrival.
The mattresses are all relatively new, meaning we all had a good nights sleep.
The kitchen was packed with lots of small goodies, meaning there were less trips for us out to the shops.
All this and more adds up to a fuss free and pleasant stay.
I wish all hosts were as considerate.
Well done guys, keep up the good work.

We're happy and enjoyed staying with this property but the only issue is the toilet and shower near the two front rooms, there's no lock.
