Long Crendon is a lovely village with lots of beautiful houses and thatched cottages. The Manor was an amazing house with great gardens and views. Tim was very friendly and helpful and we really enjoyed our breakfast especially the home made produce.
The only thing that disappointed us was the presence of quite a lot of dust ( bottom of standard lamp) and the soft chair covers were dirty. It would also have been nice to open the bathroom window and we didn’t like not having a door on the bathroom

It’s a spectacular building full of charm
It’s an old building and so keeping it in good condition is a challenge which was evident with some of the decor.
We could hear them in the next room

Amazing place- so historic, comfortable bed , wonderful breakfast.
I found all the steps challenging as I have dodgy knees. The en-suite was up steps too and I cannot use a bath for the same reason and no shower. I realise that this cannot be changed because it is a listed building and was a small price to pay!

The proprietor was welcoming and friendly but not overly so - left us to our own devices and breakfast was great!
Perhaps an earlier check-in and later Check-out to enjoy the grounds for longer.

all aspects were superb
there was a fly issue as there were a large amount in the secondary glazing and a few in the room but not an issue for us!

the manor is beautiful and the hosts are very friendly and accommodating. The rooms were very nice and the drawing room that was available was a very nice extra. highly recommended!

A real find. Way above the normal b&b. We had a huge suite in this fabulous ancient building. Host Tim could not have been more helpful, and encouraged us to use the big lounge and explore the extensive grounds, which included visiting the pigs!
Very convenient for our visit to Waddeston National Trust.
Breakfast was of a very high quality, with local ingredients, and a good choice.
All in all one of our best stays to date. No wonder this is used for film locations.

Breakfast was lovely; local food, fresh and filling!
Quiet setting, good sized room
Great for those looking for an historic setting. Nice meal at the Churchill Arms - Fat Buddha restaurant.
Bed a little hard for our tastes, could do with a mattress topper.
Felt a bit jollied along particularly on arrival, all rushed and pushed along! Quite prescriptive. No feedback sought.
Room not the cleanest. Shower a little cold but told NOT to change the temperature.
