Lovely few days. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Great location. So handy for the beach and the local taverna. Although you’ll need a car to get there and nip out to the supermarket near lixouri, there’s little need to use it for anything else. We would set up base on the loungers in the garden each day and from there it’s just a few steps down the the beach. Toni was really welcoming and even took the kids off snorkelling to show them the best spots. The sea is great for swimming and paddle boarding. We are in the taverna next door every night. Good value and friendly staff.

Only minor criticism is the heat exchanger fans for the air-con face out on to the balcony which made it a bit uncomfortable to sit outside if the air-con was on inside (although we were there during a particularly hot period).

A piece of Greek paradise

We were two families, spending a week at this magnificent place located right on the beach in a quiet bay one hour drive from the airport. While the house guarantees peace and privacy, it is a mere 3 minutes' walk from an excellent taverna and 10 minutes' drive from a well stocked supermarket. The appartment itself is spacious and furnished with everything you might need (even dishwasher and washing machine), two of the three bedrooms overlook the sea. The place is well-kept, the terrace perfect for sea-watching during meals (pictures can't do it justice), the lawn equipped with sunchairs and umbrellas, there is even some natural shade. The sandy beach was ideal for our three kids, as was the shallow water (for swimmimg, you just walk on for a couple of meters). This jewel is managed by the incredibly attentive host Toni, who really did all in his power to make our stay perfect. We recommend this to virtually everyone, and especially to families, and cant wait to be back ourselves. Adam, Darja, Maja, Rok, Staš, Toni and Vid

Beautiful location for a relaxing family holiday

We enjoyed a wonderful holiday at Kounopetra Villas. The villa is located right next to a very quiet beach and enjoys beautiful uninterrupted views over the bay. Tony is a brilliant and charming host; he was there to meet us on arrival and showed us around the villa, and chatted about the area, its history etc. He really wanted to make sure that we were comfortable and was always contactable if we had any questions. He is a really friendly guy. The villa has everything you need for a family and is located in such a lovely, quiet area of Kefalonia. If you are considering staying at this villa, you will not be disappointed.

location. It is in a quiet place but easy to reach the lively Lixouri and Argostoli (by ferry). Large appartment with all the facilities. Exceptional sea views. The beach is very beautiful ang with few people what is difficult to find in August. Hosts very friendly.

Amazing villa 20m from the beach with very friendly hosts that provided a lot of information.The sea is calm, warm and shallow so safe for swimming and there is a taverna 50m away. The area is quiet and perfect for relaxation so is very tempting just to spend the holiday lazing around, however the island has some amazing sites that are worth visiting so a car is essential.

Magical location

The houses are set right at the beach, with a fabulous garden and sea views. The hosts were very helpful and kind. We arrived late in the evening and they had prepared some food and water in the fridge.

Our one week stay was too short. It was so nice, that we did not explore the area much and just relaxed and enjoyed the beach in front of the house.

Superb

excellent and very restful possition of the villa, the villa is well equiped, extremely nice views, taverna with homemade food just next door...the villas have private garden with deckchairs, few steps into the sea, very friendly and willing owners that help you with everything, excellent and tastefull donuts that brings baker every day you want just to the door...very beautiful beach...

there is practically nothing I would point out...maybe - if I would have to find something - there are many insolent cats so you have to hide away the food... :-)

Perfect seaside location - as good as it looks in the photos

Perfect location. A short drive from int'l airport. Stunning position with private grass area for sunbathing, a few steps down (gated, wooden staircase where Granny or tiny children might want a hand) to sandy beach for swimming, playing in the sand, short walks in either direction. Shallow water, clear and sandy underfoot, so ideal for little children, with plenty of longer swimming options for adults. Breathtaking views across the bay from sunrise to sunset. Good taverna 100metres along the beach, choice of more tavernas within 10 minutes drive. Variety of beautiful beaches within short drives, more for day trips. Decent supermarket 3 km drive away, baker's van visits daily (don't miss his donuts!). The villas and apartments really are as good as they look in the photos. Well laid out, great views from balconies/terraces, well looked after. Tony and Anjelica are ideal hosts, helpful and friendly. We're trying to plan next year's visit!

Super helpful and friendly hosts! We couldn't recommend it more, and we will definitely be back

We had a fabulous stay at the Kounopetra luxury beach villas! We arrived late at night and Tony and his wife waited up for us, and very kindly showed us around the villa on arrival. The villa was perfect for our 5 person family and was located only a few steps from the beach. The beach had no waves and was super safe for our children to swim and play in for hours. Tony organised sight seeing of the island and an evening boat cruise for us, which was spectacular! Walking distance from the villas is a beautiful family greek restaurant with delicious food and amazing views, and within less than 30 minutes drive there are multiple different restaurants and amazing beaches.
