A wonderful old place with a great sense of history - just ten rooms. We felt very welcomed by the staff, who delivered a very personal service. Highly recommended for a romantic getaway

The view was lovely, it was really peacefull, the personel was friendly and helpful, beautiful old mansion, wonderful nature around
Toilets could be renovated and more bathrooms available would be nice but overall it was really pleasant stay.

Our last-minute booking ended up being one of the more memorable stays during our time in Denmark. We were lucky enough to be warmly greeted by Bruno (property manager), who, despite having travel plans that same evening, took the time to give us a full tour of this magnificent estate. Bruno’s genuine passion for the rich history of the property was evident, and we appreciated the antique furnishings and overall grandeur more and more with each detail he shared. I was particularly impressed by the library, and could easily imagine the social events that took place years ago in the lounge area/den, preserved for us to enjoy today as guests. Our upgraded room was very grand, and the bed was luxurious, with high quality linens. A basic kitchen was just down the hall, so we were able to enjoy a cup of tea in the evening. Bruno also recommended that we walk the grounds, which we did at dusk. Though it was a bit misty, we appreciated the old, enormous trees and lovely views. For travelers who truly appreciate the architecture, art and exquisite furniture of times gone by, this is a quiet gem tucked away in the countryside.

No complaints. Do keep in mind that if you are looking for a “cookie-cutter” franchise hotel with huge flatscreen TVs and typical modern decor, this may not be the place for you. For history buffs, you will revel in its magnificence!

Bed linen was not provided as standard and was an additional cost. After paying an additional 25% to hire bed linen we then had to make up the beds ourselves. The bathroom was communal which I was not expecting and quite shabby. Basic facilities and basic breakfast. while the lady who booked us in was pleasant enough, there was no one around the premises to offer any level of service after check in. Honestly spend the evening in a shabby bedroom as I found the reception areas cold and uninviting. Left early the next morning after a disappointing breakfast.

Great place, great host. Amazing experience.

Location stunning and full of history, like a time capsule. Staff pleasant and polite. Delicious curry for dinner. Breakfast was perfect.
Nothing to complain about - except for the poor pool table

A beautiful historic place with a warm atmosphere. We were able to have dinner last minute eventhough we had not booked it. Great to enjoy the huge garden with a drink, while hares were running around us. We were able to pay in Euros
The beds were too soft, but the room is so beautiful, you won't mind.

Unique location and experience.
Great host who had organised a good diner in the evening.
Nothing.

The house is a marvel with a solid history. The private forest next to the house brings something unique to this property.
The quality of the service and the level of comfort are extremely poor. It would need investment to make it a comfortable place to stay. The (shared) shower had no power, the mattress was a joke.
In terms of service, we had to make our own bed, the breakfast was a mess (packed in a too small room).
Adding to this the overpriced beer and dinner, I would not recommend this place at all.
Its a shame because this property could be unique.

the property is beautiful and have a lot of history.
the fact that we had to pay for linen and towels. We didn’t even got a face or hand towels just a bath one. we paid for breakfast and it’s was very poor. We had 3 small breads to share. Not a lots of choice at ALL. look like the owner didn’t refill any of it. also had to wait to do our check in. We felt uncomfortable.

Really great place for a layover on our way to Copenhagen. Very cosy and welcoming inn with a relaxing vibe and great breakfast! Perfect start of our vacation!

This b&b was breathtaking—from the drive up the beautiful tree lined road to the beautiful grounds and gorgeous inside rooms. It truly felt like I traveled back in time—in the best way possible. They managed to keep the historic feel of the house (more like mansion for nobility) perfectly, while still being clean and comfortable. The host was amazing as well. He answered my mom and I’s billion questions with a smile and a sense of humor. If we ever come back to Denmark (which I’m sure we will one day) we will definitely stay here again. HIGHLY recommend.

Very quiet location and nice surrounding. Was somewhat surprised that we had to take our own bedlinnen or rent it additionally but this seems to be normal in Denmark.

Visiting Ny Øbjerggaard is a treat for anyone who loves authenticity, history, atmospheric environments, beautiful nature, peace and tranquility. This family run business has it all. A fantastic house to wake up in and we were lucky with the weather and had breakfast in the garden. This is not your average place, it’s a place with heart and soul and if you appreciate a cosy library with several hundred year old books in, instead of a tv in you room, old beautiful handmade furniture instead of IKEA, lovely personal owners and a wooden floor that creaks a bit, this is the place for you.

Ny Øbjerggaard is a very special place to stay. The B&B is situated in a very beautiful environment with its imposing driveway and garden. But the house itself is amazing. The atmosphere is like you were in a castle two and a half century ago. So special as we never experienced before. But most of all we appreciated the hospitality of the host who welcomed us by giving a guiding tour through the house and offered a delicious dinner in the garden.

This old impressive mansion is really a wonderful place. While spending time in the manorial living room or the lovely library you feel like an English lord in the nineteenth century. Dish of the day was a great BBQ in the garden with really good music. This place is just a gem!
Absolutely nothing!

Everything was perfect. Great place for short run away from busy city life.

It is a beautiful old building, with the charmes of a class hotel, but the facilities of a good hostel. Staff was friendly to help us with indoor bicycle parking.
Upon mentioning that both of us were vegetarians, we still got a breakfast plate with meat on it, with no question whether we would want to substitute it.
