The cruise director and her staff were great. They made us feel so welcome and at home. The activities and tours were very organized. We were very impressed.
4.7
The staff, food quality and the well appointed room with wrap around balcony
I would have preferred local twists on the main courses instead of “Western” steak and lobster options. Hot tub looked great but was cold
4.7
Everything was amazing, 5 star all the way for a good price.
There was nothing we didn't like.

Our night on the Paradise Elegance 2 was extremely special, and we will remember it forever. We thought it would be good, but we had no idea just how luxurious it would be. The room was amazing, the food was fantastic, Right from when we arrived, each table is introduced to their 'butler'. I have crazy dietary restrictions for medical reasons, but Aldo talked to me individually straight away, about how they had prepared ahead for this, and kept checking in with me. I appreciated his kindness without judgement a lot. The host in charge, Belle, kept checking everything was going well too. And woh, they were determined that I would have a lot of food in wide variety. I don't think my partner and I have ever been able to eat so well together at a formal dinner. The band was lots of fun and the hot-tub on the deck allowed us to watch the Halong Bay islands as the clouds passed by. We didn't see this feature on any of the other boats. For anyone going to Halng Bay, I highly recommend this particular boat and crew. The cave trip was great too.
We loved everything.

The captain's view terrace suite is the best room! Staff are very attentive - Emman was our fave! All the activities are amazing - kayaking in the bay is a must do! We were served amazing vegetarian dishes at our request. Take in the sunset on the sundeck!
Kayaking is an extra charge, but still worth it. Drinks are very expensive - definitely buy at happy hour.
4.7
Everything!! Awesome experience. We splurged out and got the captain's suite with no regrets - had our own private balcony to enjoy. Good balance between excursions and time spent on the cruise. Staff were so friendly and welcoming.

The food was excellent, the service fantastic and the room we had was beautiful.
Drinks on board are expensive

Lukas our butler, who was fantastic, nothing was too much trouble
being transferred off the Elegance to the Grand sling with Lukas.
The chaotic approach which led to chaotic customer behaviour to an extreme.
The non functioning aircon

The boat had an amazing feel to it. Decorated beautifully throughout which have a feel of class. Beds, and pillows, were probably the best we’ve slept in during our travels around Vietnam.
If given the chance, ask to not be put in any of the front rooms on the ground floor. you’re nearest the anchor so it’s incredibly noisy. Also, your balcony is enclosed so if you’re sitting down on the chairs you are unable to see put into the water.
4.7
The decor of the cruise ship was excellent and the staff very attentive.
Meal options very hit and miss. Day 1 was superb and day 2 lunch ridiculously over catered therefore a lot of wasted food. Dinner poor quality for a cruise of this standard.

(+++) Spacious and comfortable room
(++) Cosy piano bar, very pleasant dining room
(++) Very friendly, warm and helpful staff with high availability
(+) The deck is relaxing, with amazing view and a jacuzzi.
(+) Most activities were fun and memorable
(+) Lunch at first day was decent
(- -) Had to wait ~ 1-2 hours in a nevertheless pleasant but otherwise empty and uninteresting lounge before boarding and departing for no good reason.
(-) Dinner disappointed compared to the rest. The menu had only Western cuisine choices
(-) Could have spent more time on the beach instead of waiting to board the ship / depart from hotel

Excellent staff
Everything was fine - although expensive. They could have provided drinking water during lunch and dinner with all the good food. We had to pay for water!!
4.7
Balcony from our room
Definitely not the staffs fault they have obviously been told to bow and smile but it was very uncomfortable as they lined up every time we entered or left rooms. It was very forced servility and made us and other guests uncomfortable.

We had the captains cabin suite. Without a doubt well worth the upgrade. World class views, large and very comfortable.Excellent service and staff. We experienced this type of service both on the ship and at the paridise hotel before we did the cruise. Cant say ive had better service anyhere.Food selection was good on the main ship and being a picky eater I didn't go hungry.
Terrible wifi throughout the ship and where it did work was very poor. No excuse in 2023. I could use the data from my Sim card in our cabin.
The meals are included but they charge you for drinks including water. I'm sorry, for this rating of cruise and the money spent ice water should be included with every meal.
The day of the outing you are on a smaller expedition boat. Food was all vietnamese seafood which most of the people on the boat with us didn't eat. The excursions on this first day were very light for me and I think in hindsight I would have stayed behind and enjoyed our beautiful cabin. I would recommend doing the larger cave on the second day.

clean and gorgeous interior.
staffs on board's incredible hospitality
・shuttle bus drivers(noisy while traveling)
・lack of instruction how to set the PIN for the security locker in the cabin.
・dinner menu.I prefer asian foods much better than western foods.
・I wanted to visit more places in Halong bay.
・no guides at excursions.
・I became sick and made phone calls to the reception many times.but nobody answered.

Everything was perfect. We had the most amazing time. This cruise is a must when in Halong Bay. The boat is definitely one of the better boats out in the bay and the staff are brilliant. Too much fun

Great room design, very helpful staff, delicious food, open buffet at lunch and breakfast is great, ship wasn’t shake during the trip so I didn’t feel seasickness
The dinner portion was small, I wish they served more for dinner

Best thing we choose to do while travelling in Asia over 3 weeks. 5 star rating throughout our stay. Many thanks to our cruise manager Richard who was top class from our safety briefing right through until we left. Our server Korine was amazing also who left no stone unturned throughout the stay. Dinner on the night of our cruise was most enjoyable along with the music. To anyone thinking of doing this, go for the 2 night 3 day cruise, as 1 day stay is not long enough. Lovely memories made here & we will look forward to returning.

Good service by the cruise staff and hospitality and taking care of our dietary requirements during the cruise.
I'm extremely unhappy and disappointed with the exuberant price of 18 million Vietnam dong that I paid for 1 night in Paradise Elegance cruise. I strongly believe that I have been charged unfairly for the cruise.
To give you some context, during my current Hanoi trip I stayed in couple of 5 star hotels. For 2 nights in a club room with lake view in the 5 star hotel (price inclusive of breakfast, high tea and evening cocktail and nibbles) I paid around 11 million Vietnam dong.
I booked both the cruise and hotel rooms 2 months in advance and you can make a clear comparison between a 5 star hotel and your cruise. The experience in 5 star hotel though at a lower price was much better and fulfilling.
I strongly believe that I have been overcharged for the cruise and based on my stay and experience on the cruise - 18million vietnam dong is no where close to what I should have paid and the experience I had on the cruise. I understand that this is a premium cruise but the price I paid should have been for 2 nights and not 1 night.
During Christmas when I had booked (later cancelled) , the price was 27 million dong for 2 nights. This was when I booked few weeks in advance. But when I booked 2 months in advance the price for 1 night was 18 million dong for same room. By showing messages like last 1/2 rooms available, you cheat customers to rush and book.
My request to raise this complain to the management was also not taken up properly/seriously and I was told that finance team rejected my request given payment has already been made to the vendors. And nothing more could be done. In short, no respect towards customer grievances and I didn't even receive any personal email or call from the concerned team.
As a last resort, I request you to kindly raise this to you management and help me to get a discount on my booking.
Another disappointment was related to the cruise booking staff (booking.com team).

Great service and courteous staff. very well organised.
There can be more people attending the guest on the top deck in the evening.

Superb! The service was exemplary, everything was handled very professionally and in a friendly manner. Facilities were top notch! Halong Bay and the cruise definitely lived up to its reputation.
Nothing! Keep up the good work!
