It's a beautiful private villa overlooking the sea. Very well maintained. Crisp & clean sheets. Tasty breakfast, my favourite was a smoothie bowl! It's one of the few properties that has direct access to the beach which is an added advantage.

Location was perfect for a rest

The privacy and the one gate entrance. Parking spot. Friendly staff.
Our two houses where seperated by a third one. It would have been nicer if they were neighboring.

Central location, great pool, quiet street, and beautiful villa.

Our private little house, Villa Makara, with private pool, was beautifully furnished Robinson Crusoe style, spacious and very comfortable. The view onto the ocean was majestic! Beautiful gardens between the bungalows were home to many birds, butterflies and even two roosters with their respective hens decorated the premises:-). WiFi worked very well and the staff were the best! We had a power-plug problem in the bedroom but that was fixed. Breakfast, not included in the price, could be ordered the night before and was delicious. The Italian restaurant right on top of the premises made truly delicious food and also delivered to the bungalows. Snorkeling from the beach was lovely too - we spent 3 exceptional days in Villa Makara, especially seeing we didn’t seek the bustle of rather far-off Amed centre. Very good massage on the premises too!
My partner has lung problems which made it hard for him to climb the stairs to the reception or the restaurant up top. But we felt so well down in our little paradise that we mostly ordered the food to our villa. For any necessary climbing, I did the job for him ;-)

Beautiful location. Snorkelling right outside the villa.
Staff could be hard to find sometimes.

The beach at the property was great for exploring and snorkeling, as were those nearby. It was easy to get around by scooter. The villa was large and comfortable, with a beautiful verandah. We enjoyed massages on site, and the aircon came in handy a few times in the heat of the day when we wanted to take a cool nap. Lovely spot.
For the price, a simple free breakfast option would have been nice, as we had at other places on our trip. There were a couple of issues with wifi and water on the site and the wider area while we were there, but the staff communicated clearly and it was quickly resolved.

It’s a small complex of villas. Not so much around but Italian restaurant is ok. maybe if you stay longer you need to rent motorbike.
it’s far away from centre of town so with kids it’s complicated.

The 2 bedroom villa was perfect for my daughter and me. Wonderful views, sunrise over Lombok, lovely setting, comfortable furniture, mini kitchen, good massages, good wifi. The steps are a good workout! The Trattoria next door (north side)has wonderful food. Smoking tuna, mushroom steak, sesame crusted tuna, chocolate lava cake and nice Italian options too. The warung (south side) is a nice place to eat too.
While the little bay was pleasant, the better snorkeling and diving were further north. We should have hired a trigger boat and cruised up as a change from driving. Preferred Lipah beach. At Jemeluk, the beach and shallows were dirty and we hired a trigger boat to take us out to the snorkeling/diving sites past the rubbish. With so many locals lazing around, would be nice if the hotels banded together to organise a cleanup squad and employ them.

After the crowds of Ubud, landing here was like arriving in heaven. Our family loved to spend two nights there and if we could we would have spend more time.

Everything! View is amazing, staff is friendly and helpful. We had internet problem ans they quickly fixed it.
Location is kinda far from city center, but not a big deal as we love cooking. We went to local store for groceries and cook in the kitchen. But, there's italian restaurant in the villa and nice Warung next to the villa.
There're mosquitos but they provide us with nett and mosquioes prevention.

Everything! The view in the morning where you can see Rinjani..best moment!
Quite far from the mini market.

Our room view was amazing. Waking up with the ocean noise was one of the best things I experienced so far. The cleaning standards were simply perfect. And having the Italian restaurant basically in the same place made our life much easier. I can’t wait to go back!

Location and relaxing space
Private pool was very clean
1. 1st Villa booked had electrical problem after we unpacked......consequently moved to 2nd villa
2. 2nd Villa was not clean.....floors, kitchenette, cutlery/plates etc.
3. 2nd villa had ALL doors that did not close properly......this was an issue with maintaining room temperature in bedroom from the AC

Everyone in the villas - manager, staff, cleaner - are all super helpful and friendly
Toilet is US style with no bidet/washer. For us Indonesian who cant just wipe with toilet paper this is quite challenging :)

The view can be amazing, especially during sunrise.
Access to the beach is very easy.
There was no lock to the villa‘s main door on the first 2 days I was there. I had to ask for it for a few times until they gave a lock for it. It was very windy when I stayed there, so I couldn’t close the door at all without the lock. I had to be okay with it being open when I left the villa.
There was no one around when I checked out. I told the staffs what time I was planning to check out, but no one was in the whole property to help me with anything.
There were many stray cats that rummaged around and grabbed our foods when we‘re not around.

The awesone sunrise. Coral beach.
Being on the beach. The first night sleeping little. By the noise of the sea. The other nights ok

The Villa is well maintained, Clean with perfect view to the ocean. People who service the villa are very helpful - friendly. I like the greenery too. Lush and green
The area has no telephone and Data Cellular connection. You will be depending on WIFI only. The problem is; at least once in two weeks the Internet line cut off. Not the Hotel's mistakes but the Provider's mistake. So if that happen; that will be the most unlucky day for you. You have to drive around 5 minutes to get to the place with signal. During my stay - internet cit off from 11pm until 7pm the following day.

We've stayed many times at Aquamarine. Direct access to the beach and snorkeling and a beautiful view from the villa make this a wonderful stay. It's calm, quiet, and comfortable. And a TV with DVDs for evenings when you're too tired from snorkeling or swimming to do anything but veg and watch a movie.
The house notes remind guests that lighting and stairs may not be up to international standards. They're not. One could easily walk out of the bedroom and fall off the stairs. But no problem. We solve this by putting our luggage along the edge.

Amazing location, all I wished for was a couple of days of tranquil atmosphere to unwind, but also have enough inspiring space to get into creative mood. Beautiful nature, very kind staff, mornings with sunrise view were highlight for me. Will definitely return as soon as possible!

Cozy villas with amazing view, comfortable beds and pillows, beautiful garden territory full of flowers, rich underwater life (you can also swim to Japanese wreak it’s pretty close to the hotel beach), we enjoyed our stay for sure
Not a big minus, sometimes it was hard to find someone on reception area, but we had a manager number and just text him if had any questions, just it’s took a little longer to communicate

Nice villa. Beautiful view. Nice pool and garden.
