Location perfect and quiet for us. Only slept there so can’t comment really on facilities
Tad sparse on kitchen mugs and glasses.

I would have expected to arrive to some heat in the house in mid November. We were called at 15.00 hrs to say the property was ready and we could go in early. When we arrived at 15.30 it was glacial inside. There were no instructions on how to deal with the heating or the times when it would come on. Called the agents and after two calls a maintenance man arrived. The heating had been turned off because of an issue in the adjoining property. He turned it on. We went out for five hours. Came back at 22.30 five hours later and still glacial. So had to spend a very cold night. Heating then came on in the morning and it was too hot. We had to move to another location. Seems there was a known problem. Why on earth was this property let in mid November with substandard heating. In addition no arrival welcome. Not even a teabag or pint of milk. Is that too expensive? Thoroughly miserable experience.

The little garden was useful - a nice place for my 4yo to play.
The place is looking a little tired - you have to hold a warped cabinet shut so you can open the fridge. There was an ant infestation when we arrived - they sent a maintenance man round but it was clearly a pre existing problem because there was ant killer under the sink. There was quite a lot of animal hair around the place - not as clean as we were expecting.

Very clean, comfortable beds, comfortable sofa, enclosed yard/garden, modern kitchen
.. ... Very poorly/non existant signage to find property, lack of lighting when coming back in dark, broken pole to open velux in kitchen
No coffee machine..didn't even need pods brought my own, as expect that in £300 a night property.
Instead there was about 1/8th of a jar of Aldi instant.
Bare minimum. Expect some milk, nothing, most places put something by way of welcome pack, biscuits or cake, fruit, chocs or local eggs. Don't think bowl of fake fruit counts

Bedrooms sizes and en suite bathroom were lovely
The outdoor space lacks TLC in the garden itself and garden furniture was very dirty and two chairs broken out of four

Extremely clean very well equipt cottage. Very comfortable bed. Lovely enclosed garden for my dogs. Sue gave excellent directions when at first we couldn't find the cottage.
I think the red bedroom would benifit from a blind (same as second bedroom) as the light came through the curtains. Also I think it would be nice to have a curtain across the front door.
