Amazing Pension - High Recommend

This was the nicest pension we stayed during our first 8 days in Spain,. Exceptionally clean property and spotless bathroom. Nestor, the host, extremely hospitable and accommodating. Highly recommend this Pension.

Perfect pension on the Camino with the very best hosts

The hosts Nestor and his wife Maria Luisa are absolutely wonderful. They are there to make your stay perfect and help with any questions you have. They are one of the best parts of our Camino. They prepared a beautiful dinner and setting for us that was delicious. Beds extremely comfortable and the shower impeccably clean. 5 star.

Comfortable stay

Easily the most comfortable place we’ve stayed on the Camino so far. Got a good nights sleep before a long stage the next day. If you want to spring for a private room, this is a good one.

Everything went perfectly…the room was comfortable, the place is kept very clean and breakfast/dinner were very good. The owner Nestor is a wonderful person with a big heart and enjoyable sense of humor!

Great value and location for Camino travelers!

The pension was right on the Camino and still very close to Estella for meals, shopping and sight seeing. (Don't go over the bridge into town like I did! It's on the Camino-side of the river.) The bed was comfortable and the location was quiet. The host was friendly and helpful. I needed to transfer my pack the next day and he kindly helped me arrange the service, speaking directly with the driver to confirm. The single room and shared bathroom were both very clean. There was a small dining area, microwave, fridge and bottled water which were very convenient. The wee balcony was perfect for drying my clothing.

The building's entry and hallways were uninviting and not as clean as the room/bath.

A very good experience, comfy bed, clean, inexpensive, ideally situated, all positive.

My single room looked right out onto the Camino, yet it was quiet at night. For the price I paid it was very good value, very clean, comfortable bed, centrally located in town and close to restaurants and amenities. The check in process went very smoothly and the host used his phone translator to relay all the necessary details. He also provided a map listing of sites in town and his cell phone number in case it was needed.

There was only one hair dryer in the shared bathroom (shared between four bedrooms). It was meant to be replaced after usage. However, one of the other patrons must have taken it to their room and kept it there, because unfortunately it never reappeared. Also I think some of the other patrons may have appropriated some toilet paper to take with them. In the morning there was very little left. But that's not the fault of the establishment, just something to be aware of.

The room was absolutely perfect. Beautiful linens and big fluffy towels. Sparkling clean, modern bathroom.

Our stay was quite pleasant, the location was right on the Camino and it was easy to get to the bars and restaurants.

The owner was very helpful and attentive and readily available if needed. The fridge, microwave and kettle were great, especially since there was a market nearby.

Beds were a bit firm- which some might find attractive.
