Reception
I did not stay cause they booked me into a child's boxed in bunk bed. It was 29degC and the fan which could help being in a cabin box was not working. As a 66 year old person walking for the whole day in the heat, they could take care to keep a lower bunk bed. I've been a volunteer in many Municipal albergues along various Camino routes and know that extra care should be taken. The boxed in bed is not suitable for pilgrims walking in heat as the average age is 60.

Everything - from the moment we walked in... the hosts made our stay exceptional. A cooling drink to start, an introduction to the historic building and the facilities - perfect.
Our room overlooking the river - perfect!
The bathroom & toilet - perfect !
Towels soft & large enough
Beds comfortable and sheets white!
We felt very safe.
Suggestions for restaurants - perfect for hungry pilgrims - spot on!
Such a kind and professional host of an exceptional property, well run.
Thank you

This hosteria is a jewel of the camino, a stunning reconditioning of a tannery into a delightful superb comfortable place to stay, perched on the water with a great kitchen and breakfast.

super friendly staff!
it is 10 min walk from the town center, which is not much but may hurt if you are doing the camino and still
want to go out for a beer

The building itself was beautiful and really tastefully designed, keeping elements of the old leather factory it once was, with modern furnishings to make it feel very chic for a low-cost accommodation option. The rooms are lovely and spacious and well equipped - mine overlooked the river for an amazing view. Great bathroom facilities, including a hairdryer and I liked that each shared room had its own bathroom. The staff were incredibly welcoming, friendly and helpful, giving lots of local recommendations for restaurants and things to see. The optional breakfast was great. Brilliant value for the standard of everything. I would return!
Nothing! All great!
