It was a great place for my wife, myself, daughter and grandson. Nice and big with space for everyone. TVs everywhere! Must have been at least 40 bed pillows! There was room for everyone with 4 bedrooms plus zoned AC for upstairs and the main level. Large kitchen with an amazing amount of dishes, utensils, pretty much anything you needed.
We would highly recommend this house.

Our first time in Brunswick did not disappoint! If you are looking for fast-paced, schedule full days on your trip, this is not it! The home lends itself perfectly to slow, warm Southern days, that almost take you back in time. It’s not your typical vacation rental and felt more like home than like you are staying in someone else’s space. They have everything you need, from kitchen supplies to warm fluffy blankets. You have to experience the home to truly understand what it is. The location is absolutely perfect. Just minutes from downtown, with lots of wonderful places to eat, things to see. We enjoyed daily 45 minute- 1 hour walks through the Historic district. The beaches at Jekyll and SSI are a quick, easy drive. Brunswick is a hidden gem of a place and I cannot wait to go back.

We had an amazing stay at this house in Historic Brunswick! We were easily able to visit the nearby beaches, explore the downtown (great antiquing!), as well as spend time together at the house. There were 10 of us including 3 couples, and everyone had plenty of space to spread out and enjoy each other’s company. Beds and couches were VERY comfortable! The kitchen was well equipped to make and serve food for a group, and the house and all the amenities you could want and more! We especially enjoyed using the gas grill and hanging out in the outdoor spaces, as well as taking advantage of the beach equipment that was available. The property manager, Stacie, was also super responsive and helpful. The house shows its age in some ways, but truly it just added character, and we could not have asked for a better experience!!

Spacious home. The atmosphere was practical more than pretty. Didn’t find the grill and had to go to a store and purchase a skillet since all at the house were damaged. We were without power for about 9 hours one night. The thresholds are hazardous! Otherwise it was a very nice place.

Seven adult family members stayed here. We had plenty of space, and we were close to Jekyll and St Simon Islands, and even church. Nice, quiet neighborhood. The house has good tv and Wi-Fi, plenty of seating, decently equipped kitchen, laundry, even beach chairs and toys. Cleaning supplies were also available. Plus a lovely patio if the weather were warmer. As for us, we enjoyed the fireplace with the supplied logs and bottle of wine!

I We had issues with one of the appliances when we arrived and our host was quick to help us resolve the problem. This was our 2nd time staying in this home and we will certainly be back.

Thank you for the use of the property while we were in town participating in a trade show on Jekyll Island. The house was easy to access and met our expectations. It is very accessible to the Jekyll Island Convention center and provided a chance to stay in the Historic District of Brunswick. Thanks again

My husband and I stayed at this property for a month while building a home nearby. We thoroughly enjoyed staying in the historic home! Loved exploring the neighborhood and all of the history. The home was clean, comfortable and roomy. The kitchen was extremely well equipped. The large back patio was delightful as was the front porch and swing. It was great having several smart TVs. The nights were cool so we used the fireplace frequently. There were many delicious restaurants within walking distance. Jekyll and St Simons Island are both a short drive and great to explore. Such a fun experience!

This is the second time my family has stayed at this property. We love it! The historic mansion is spacious, clean and well appointed. There were many "extras" in the kitchen for a family's cooking convenience, e.g. spices, lots of flatware, plates, etc. We loved sitting in the courtyard at night with the beautiful lights. You won't be disappointed!

The house was lovely and worked great for my family. Property manager was available for questions when needed. Plenty of towels, supplies, umbrellas, etc. Walking to downtown Brunswick and 15mins to SSI. Great mix of old southern charm and modern amenities.

This a beautiful hone. Convenient to both Jekyll Island and Saint Simons Island. The historic neighborhood is a quiet gem and is perfect for a quick getaway or along stay. We’ll definitely be.

My family and I stayed the week after Christmas. The home is large and comfortable with plenty of room (and bathrooms!!) for us. Plenty of restaurants within walking distance. It was fun to explore the historic neighborhood and downtown (all on foot). Less than 30 min driving distance to Jekyll and St. Simons Islands and just a little over an hour to Savannah and Tybee Island. Great central location.

We had our family and in town guests all together at 1200 Union and it made for games space, outdoor garden time and group cooking. Walk downtown or skip to Jekyll or StSimons. Awesome

The home was such a delight for the entire family (ages 2 to 62) I cannot say enough- it had all the modern comforts of home. While we were sad to leave, we have many wonderful memories (and pics) to remember this gem of a home by!

We enjoyed staying here so much. It was my family of 6 and my parents. There was plenty of room for all of us. The kitchen had everything we would need and more. Easy access to Jekyll Island or st. Simons island as well as shopping in Brunswick. The street is beautiful and sitting on the porch swing to enjoy the view is soothing.

What a wonderful home for our celebration of the Feast of Tabernacles. The bedrooms were spacious, inviting and comfortable. The home was well equipped with all amenities and supplies. We loved having private baths for each couple, and also ample space for group gatherings. The outside swings were used daily as was the back courtyard area. The huge live oak in the outside courtyard provided many laughs as we watched the squirrels playing tag up and down it's 300+ year old trunk. It was nothing less than an amazing trip. Thank you for sharing your home with us! We will definitely be back! :)

We very much enjoyed our stay at this Grand Victorian home in Downtown Brunswick. The house was well-appointed so we were able to settle in immediately. Within easy walking distance were restaurants, pubs, shops, galleries and Mary Ross Waterfront Park. We could spend just a day or two checking out the interesting architecture of Downtown. Be sure to look for the Old City Hall and other government buildings, in addition to architecture of the businesses and residences.
The home is located on the tree-lined street we consider to be the most beautiful in all of Brunswick. Rose responded quickly and answered all our questions when we were booking the home and then there was a seamless transition to the property manager, Stacie, after our reservation was confirmed. Stacie was very helpful before and during our stay.
Thank you, Rose and Stacie, for such a wonderful experience! We have zero complaints and we're already looking for dates for our return visit.

Shared a great weekend with family this weekend in the beautiful Golden Isles of Georgia. This house in Brunswick was close to both Jekyll and St Simmons Island and located on the edge of the historic district of lovely Brunswick Georgia. House is a victorian and is very charming with plenty of room. The kitchen was great and we enjoyed cooking in it. All the rooms had plenty of charm and character and it was a hit with the history buffs. The downstairs bathrooms could use a bit of updating, but were clean and functional so no real problem. Would endorse this house for a stay in Brunswick.

Roomy, quiet, charming - three ways to describe this beautiful property. In Brunswick to attend a conference on Jekyll Island. Easy access to the Conference Center, in a quiet neighborhood. Just what we needed. Property manager is very informative and responsive to questions and inquiries. We look forward to staying here again in the future.

Charming old house, lots of character. Everything we needed in the kitchen.
Quiet neighborhood. About halfway between Jekyll and St. Simons, just a short drive to either. Property manager was nearby and very attentive.

This home was perfect for the entire family. Master suite downstairs was convenient for grandparents with all the rest of the bedrooms upstairs. The dressing area attached to the upstairs master was perfect for a pack n play for the baby. The location was ideal as the attractions of St. Simons and Jekyll Island were both only about 15 minute drive away. The house is big and well maintained. The beach toys and board games were a nice bonus as well! The kitchen is a bit outdated and the upstairs hall bath is small for several people sharing, but those are pretty minor things. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Our group of ten moms enjoyed our weekend at this lovely old home. The various rooms were great for late night conversations and daytime projects. The owner and caretaker are both sweet and very easy to reach if you have a question. Highly recommend this rental!

My dealings with the Owner and the Property Manager were the very best and most pleasant, as well as efficient.
My highest recommendation would go to them.

The house is in the historic district of Brunswick and lives up to its photos and descriptions. It easily accommodated our group of 4 adults and 4 kids and could have handled more. It was a relatively short drive to the breaches of St. Simons island. We really enjoyed ourselves.

Our family of 8 adults enjoyed our week's stay at this historic house in Brunswick, GA. The house was clean, well-equipped, and nicely decorated, with plenty of room for us to spread out ... which was nice, because we had several days of rain. One of the best parts is the wonderful swings on both porches! We spent a lot of time on those. Several of us also enjoyed walking down to Hanover Square, a few blocks away, to "stop and smell the roses" which were in full bloom!
There was plenty of hot water, which is always nice! :) There were minor issues with the kitchen sink (a hose unsnapped and we had a leak -- I notified the property manager), and the top racks of the both dishwashers tended to fall down if pulled out very far. All very manageable issues. Plenty of dishes, pans, etc., for cooking ... but by all means try Southern Soul Barbeque (2020 Demere Rd, St. Simons), while you're down there. It's only 15 minutes away and has the BEST smoked chicken salad sandwiches! The library is only a few blocks away as well, and we biked there one morning.
Downtown Brunswick isn't a secluded tourist community, it's very much a lived-in area, so mornings were rather loud with traffic as people went to work, city trucks rumbled by, and children were dropped off at the Catholic school just down the street. However, I spent a very pleasant afternoon on the upstairs porch with very little traffic, and evenings were usually quieter as well.
All in all, a great stay! Thanks, Rose! We enjoyed your house. (And the price can't be beat, for sure!!)

This truly is a home away from home! The owners/management have ensured every comfort is at your fingertips. From kitchen utensils and appliances, cable and wifi, plush beds and comforters, washer and dryer, and the lovely porch swings( yes, there is one upstairs too!), this home has every comfort you could need. The location is a block from the quaint downtown district of Brunswick and perfectly located minutes from St. Simon's, Sea Island, and Jekyll Island. We stayed at the small cottage on this property previously and loved it. This home lives up to the same high standard. We will surely make this our home away from home on every visit to the Golden Isles!!!

I grew up in south Georgia, not far from Brunswick, so when I began looking for a house to rent for a week for a wedding celebration historic downtown was my first stop. Stacie does a wonderful job managing the property; she made sure the patio/garden area was pressure washed for the outdoor event and the yard was well manicured. The house has so much character and space! Not one but 2 front porches with swings :) The patio area is perfect for dining alfresco and the kitchen makes it easy to cook and stay in! We had multiple friends and family stay in the main house and we never felt crowded or cramped. We also rented the cottage so we had even more space for staging for the reception. Brunswick is such a quaint town; you have to try Indigo Coastal Shanty if you feel like having a meal out, amazing specials and the pimento cheese burger is fabulous and it's so close to the house. Driftwood beach on Jekyll Island was breathtaking and it's only 20 min from the house. Already planning my next trip in what felt like my home away from home!

Our daughter just got married at St Simon's Island and we had the reception at Old City Hall in Brunswick. The house was 2 minutes drive from the reception venue which was great. Better still was the cozy comfortable surroundings that the house provided. We had several family members stay with us, and we hosted a pleasant post-wedding gathering for 20 plus family and friends without feeling overcrowded. The house has some minor foibles to be expected in an older building, but these were totally minor in the scheme of things. The management organization were great to work with and even pressure-washed the yard for us knowing that we were hosting guests at the weekend.

My extended family of 10 stayed here for New Year's 2014. We were so comfortable and cozy - despite all the rain! We made wonderful meals and had plenty of elegant yet comfortable rooms to chat, play games and watch TV. We loved the fireplace - the front room alcove is a beautiful place for a quiet read. Thank you so much for sharing your home with us!
