The view and the villa. Staff was l

You have to walk a lot to get there, but this is how it is in Positano

The property itself was incredible. Can not complain about the amount of stairs when we are looking for the best view possible. Alexsander was machine to carry our large luggages and also the rest of belongings, could not thank him enough. When we arrived at the villa, simon had informed us that we would be receiving an upgrade which contained a balcony pool and a terrace with a incredible view.
Nothing, I can’t complain about the steps to have a view like that.

View was beautiful. Could not see the town from our side of hotel but full sea view and rocky cliffs. Breakfast selection and quality was excellent. The host Simone was very friendly and helpful. He arranged our car from airport and porters to take our luggage down when we left ($15 euro per bag) and then meet you at the ferry port.
My only negative for this hotel is the stairs you must walk up EVERY TIME YOU COME BACK. But in all honesty, the whole town is steps but some hotels and restaurants are right at street level. If fitness or mobility or at all a problem this is not for you. The town or the hotel! We averaged 40 flights of stairs per day for just regular activity.

I love how spacious was are room and clean. we had a wonderful view and the stuff were so nice. They welcomed us with a Prosecco bottle and some snacks. The lady that works in the kitchen was the sweetest person ever. Everything was just amazing. we were able to relax and enjoy every minute in a nice quite and peaceful place.

Simone, Sergio and and all made our stay feel like we were HOME! s
They made us like part of the family đź’• Such a private and peaceful place! We LOVED IT!
the steps to get back and forth to the Villa
but they were worth it for the privacy we had :)

we loved everything about this property. From start to finish, everything went off without a hitch. When I tell
you the stars aligned, the stars aligned. The Hospitality we received exceeded any service we ever received at any 5star hotel. Simone and Sergio were exemplary, providing first class service every day. So kind. Sergio helped us with our luggage upon arrival up the steep climb of 183 steps to our villa. He also helped arrange a boat ride along the coast. He set up our jacuzzi. Simone and Sergio go above and beyond to make sure you have a comfortable and memorable stay. The food. Lets talk about the food. Some of the best breakfast we’ve ever had. I’m not kidding. Prepared with love. Delicious. It is brought to you every morning, set up on your terrace, so you can enjoy both the delicious food and breathtaking views of Positano. We can’t wait to go back.

What's not to love about this place. The staff were all exceptionally kind and helpful with recommendations, setting up transportation, and getting us acquainted with the property. The view from the room was spectacular - you can see all of Positano from the balcony, and it's a lovely place to have breakfast or relax in the evening.
Just one thing to be aware of: there's a lot of steps to get from up the main road to the hotel (I think we counted 150+)! This wouldn't deter us from staying again, but it is important to know if you have any health conditions to keep in mind. This is the price to pay for such an amazing view :)

We loved our stay! The room was perfect--the room and bathroom were spacious and comfortable and the patio and view were incredible. The staff could not have been kinder and the daily breakfast was so delicious and enjoyable. We easily walked to a bunch of great restaurants and everywhere else we went in Positano. Simone could not have been kinder or more helpful. We are dying to return!

A very unique property on its own cliff overlooking the sea. the views are unmatched and it's so quiet. The breakfast is cooked to order and delivered to your balcony with a nice variety of choices. Molto Romantico! The outdoor hot tub overlooking the ocean is a nice touch as well. Sergio and Simone are the best and even cook your breakfast. Thank you for making our stay special.
Some people may not care to walk up the many stairs to the property but that makes it unique and guarantees your daily workout happens. The staff is very accommodating in carrying your luggage and we were thankful for that. Thanks again Sergio!

The view, the cleanliness, the staff make you feel spoilt, with all that they do
climbing the stairs. lol

The view from our balcony was outstanding. eating breakfast every day on the balcony was a highlight of our trip to Italy.
the staff was wonderful. very helpful and accommodating, they couldn’t have been nicer.
We didn’t give the 180 steps to the villa enough credit. it was harder than we thought. We planned our day to only go up once. otherwise there is nothing negative to say about the villa.

Staff was very helpful and kind. Beautiful views from the terrace.
Many, many steps to get there, but so are many of the properties in the area.

Great welcome, lovely staff, great breakfast and view... loved every minute of it
Great for us, not suitable for anyone who has physical challenges ie lot of steps to the property.

What's not to like! The view is simply amazing. Breakfast on the balcony was an experience in and of itself. Probably the best hotel experience we've had so far!
You need to climb a few stairs to get to the hotel. Didn't bother us at all but I cam imagine it would be a hindrance for les fit, older, or handicapped people.

breakfast was great and the room was very nice
you had to take a million steps to get up and down every day. the main issue was leaving the property. we requested a taxi for that morning to take us to the Naples airport. 5 times by the staff we were told they had set this up. of course they didn’t and we had to scramble and pay top dollar to get one. this is totally unacceptable. for that reason I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to people.

The rooms and view was amazing
Be prepared for tons of stairs to get down and back from the beach.

On arrival staff carried two heavy, large Suitcases up the stairs to the hotel, that was great. They let us know where things were like ATM’s and restaurants, very knowledgeable. The staff greeted us with Bellinis and some snacks as we got to our room. The views were postcard worthy. the room was clean and had a great balcony with a wonderful view. the staff made us breakfast in the morning and were prompt on timing so we could catch our ferry.
Lots of steps, not great for those with disabilities or who can’t do steps. Also the location is about 20 minutes walking to the beach. The view was worth the climb for us even with my sprained ankle.

views fantastic. rare find with hot tub on deck. staff was so helpful with small boutique hotel.
You must be aware there are over 100 stairs from the nearest road. but the staff will help with bags

The bathroom was lovely in our villa -large, great shower with lots of features. Spacious room with small balcony. Located high up so we had some great views from the terrace. Staff were helpful with carrying our luggage up and down the stairs.
Breakfast was ok, nothing special. Breakfast served on our balcony however the bathroom window of the neighbouring villa was also on our balcony wall - not nice to eat breakfast and hear a toilet flush.

The breakfast was very good. Delivered on our patio every morning at the exact time we requested.
Clean room and bathroom.
For the price it was not as nice as I was expecting.
The directions to the property does state that it is 180 step to get to but it was a little difficult for me to climb so many stairs.

The stairs were hard in the heat of July.

It’s a lot of steps. But it was good. Had fun!
We had specifically asked for the room overlooking the famous positano cliff and paid a bomb for the same. But we were given a room facing the other side. That was definitely a big bummer.

We had an amazing stay in the Villa. The room was extremely nice and comfortable, ocean view and breakfast was spectacular (the best we had during our stay in Italy). The owner and staff couldn’t have been nicer and willing to help out, gave us amazing tips and recommendations. Will come back, will definitely recommend.

Impeccably clean, helpful staff. Amazing views!! Breakfast is served to you on the balcony of your room.
The climb up to the Villa is not for the faint of heart--literally or figuratively. However, this is part of Positano, and is no worse, probably better than many Villas. The staff very helpfully carry your suitcases up the 180 step climb without ever slowing!!

The room was flawless, spacoius and cozy. We had a huge walking shower with colored spot lights. We had everything in our room - including robes, iron, caffee mashine and some free drinks in the fridge. We had probably less view to the sea from our balcony (Positano cannot be seen) compared to the more expensive rooms, but we had the chance to use the huge rooftop instead to have our breakfast, sunbathing, and enjoy the breathtaking view of Positano, also to the beach under. The jacuzzi in the small garden is also a really nice feature!
You can have a huge choice of food and drinks to the breakfast. The fresh orange juice is a must!
Simone was one of the best hosts we have ever met! He arranged to have our room a bit earlier, and leave it after the normal checkout time. Also offered to take our luggages. The stuff also was really friendly and kind.
The room is not cheap, but compared to the other accommodations in Positano, it is! If this Villa would be a hotel, probably it would be 4* at least, but I would give 5*... I would say Villa Anfitrite is a no brainer choice - if you don't mind the extra stairs!
We had to leave...

Beautiful hotel. The view was amazing, and the hot tub on the deck was wonderful. Staff couldn’t be more helpful.
Lots of stairs, but a good way to burn off supper.
