The place was beautiful and the staff was excellent!
Not a handicap friendly place.

Excellent massage at the Niyama Wellness Center.
Enjoyed happy hour at Niyama especially the tapas.
Good food choices at the breakfast buffet at Anila.
Location is in a quiet and secluded area which makes it a perfect relaxing getaway.
I am writing to you to give you my feedback regarding our stay in Anya on Feb. 15-17, 2024.
We initially thought of booking at Anya Resort because it has been marked as a member of SLH. We were expecting a relaxing 2 night stay. To our surprise, our expectations were set too high. Let us enumerate our observations:
We were there early and so we had our bags stored in the baggage room. When we arrived, they couldn’t find our booking. All they saw was that we canceled our booking. What they didn’t see was that we rebooked on the same day we canceled and that we had a confirmed booking. We went out for a coffee for a while but then we had to go back to Anya because a cup of Matcha Coffee spilled onto my shirt and pants. So we thought that since we are official guests of Anya Resort, they will try to help us the best they can, which is what we expect from an SLH member hotel. Since we were on our way to a Despedida de Soltera luncheon and I did not bring any other appropriate clothing to the event, I was planning on rinsing my shirt and pants with water in the comfort room, in case they did not have any available place for me to fix myself. I also asked if they could at least lend me a hair dryer so that I can dry out the wet shirt and pants. However, they could not offer me a place to rinse my shirt properly, and they also said that they did not have any hair dryers to lend me for just a short time. At that moment, I was disappointed but then I just went on and found something else to wear. While all this was happening, we were also told that they found our booking but they couldn’t give us a king sized bed because it was sold out. It came as a surprise to me that they told me it was sold out because I made my booking in October 2023, so I couldn’t believe their excuse. It turned out well in the end as they had a king-sized bed after all.
The description on Booking.com did not match with the kind of room they gave us.

1. The room was clean, smells good and spacious. I would rate this 9/10
2. Resort staffs were friendly
3. Food - the only breakfast food which tasted good was the pasta with sardines.
1. The sinks were a bit clogged as the water drained very slow
2. The male waiters in the restaurant were too noisy chatting with each other while we were having dinner.
3. Breakfast was served in buffet but it lacked the wow factor in it. The same with dinner - food was such a big disappointment
Breakfast
- The watermelon juice taste like it was expired. Even the fruits taste expired plus there were fruit flies seen. I told the staff about the juice and his response was just maybe it's because of the honey.. so they put honey in fresh watermelon juice???
- The waffle was hard as a cookie.
- The eggs benedict was served cold.
- The chicken adobo meat was hard
- The corned beef tasted like an ordinary Argentina corned beef
- The pork tocino tasted off compared to a famous tocino brand in the grocery
Dinner
- The lady recommended to us that the pork sisig is highly recommended, so we tried. But to our disappointment, the meat was tough to chew.
- Even the bulalo failed us. The meat was also tough to chew and tasted plain. I have to say that the bulalo from mahogany market is way better compared to the one from the resort.
4. It was very difficult to switch channels on TV as the cable TV box was placed underneath the cabinet, you have to twist your arms/wrist and point the remote downwards rather than point it in a more leveled position. Maybe place the box just below the TV or on top of the cabinet.
5. Upon check-out, I asked (JC) if I can get a hard copy of the receipt (one placed in an envelope) but he said they will email it to us instead. A day has passed since we left the property, no receipt came to my email.

The place was amazing, everything in it was so good. Very quiet, very relaxing. The staff are all very friendly, always greeting, always assisting. They are very accomodating. Food was superb, though more breakfast options will be a good addition. Heated pool was one of the reasons I chose this place. Will definitely suggest this place to anyone who wants to escape from the city. Surely, I will come back. ☺️
More breakfast options. Room amenities a little bit outdated.

Staff, cleanness, nature and the village. You want to have your own time with a beautiful weather go there. I guarantee you that you will have the heaven
Need more stuff to serve midnight room services.

Effortless check in and in-room check out and settlement. Good foundation on service fundamentals and choices, just need to improve food quality & availability in your main restaurant. Great maintenance of property as well.
Improve availability of menu items in restaurant. Need to improve bugs management in dining areas, flys are getting close to the food sometimes. Improve communication skills of staff. Improve Wifi speeds during peak usage hours, sometimes things wont load for a few seconds. Implement bandwidth management. Add items that can be "borrowed" -- Chargers, Lint roller, hdmi cable etc.

I loved the room size and cleanliness, food and service.
Facilities are outdated or broken like the ping pong table.

The five-course meal was spectacular. Breakfast was great too! And of course, the room was lovely and fragrant. Express checkout was impressive.
The female waitresses need more training in guest relations. My husband and I went to the restaurant at 5pm and searched for a nice table. We were told that they were full for the evening and we had to make a dinner reservation. There were no guests around so my husband asked if they are no longer accepting walk-ins. The waitress asked us if we were hotel guests and we answered yes. And then she said that they still accept walk-ins. See the contradiction? This irked my husband and almost ruined the experience. So my husband shot back at her "so it's not true that you are full tonight". She was speechless after that. By the way, they weren't really full. We stayed until almost 8pm and there were so many empty tables. Honest and accuracy are important.

Excellent service. Super friendly staff go out of their way to make guests feel welcome. Loved the huge, luxurious en suite bathrooms. The pool was heated to the perfect temperature…not overly warm, still refreshingly cool but very comfortable. Impressive breakfast spread. They had me at : churros for breakfast!
The live singer during dinner at the downstairs casual dining area was a mood buster at the more chill upstairs fine dining. It was the only thing not in keeping with the resort’s overall elegance.

We loved everything from the ambience, location, comfortable bed and yummy food.
The internet in our unit was slow

Sadly nothing.
After the incident with their booking account getting hacked and leaking my personal information to scammers. I think that's enough to ruin a holiday.
And the worst thing they act like nothing happened..
I got the message in booking from the Anya account to secure my reservation by a link they sent
and I got messages on my phone asking me to check my email and booking messages.
and follow the link and confirm. my reservation by payment, got charged 174 USD.
Upon checkout, they say we gonna refund the through booking until now. I got nothing more

Food is a little bit pricey and for me they need some improvement on buffet breakfast selection😊👌

the app could be improved a bit.

Everything about our stay was phenomenal from beginning to end. The staff at Anya is exceptional. Mylene at Anila restaurant made us feel special and handled all our food requests. The spa Niyama was our absolute favorite, we got massages everyday and ended our stay with a coffee scrub that was invigorating and uplifting. Our masseuses Malet, Riza and Venice were excellent. The facility is immaculate and the service was truly impeccable. Thank you for a wonderful stay.
absolutely nothing. it was perfect

The rooms were quite spacious and designed nicely. Great and calming view from the balcony too. It's nice that they gave away some snacks and drinks for free also. The in-room app was very useful and a nice touch for a high end hotel. Lots of golf carts also to help you get around. I would also like to commend AJ from the booking team for helping me to rebook my stay due to an emergency.
For the price you pay you'd expect bath robes and laundry bags already in the room, but we still had to call and wait for them to be delivered to our room. The breakfast food/buffet in Anila was cold and unappetizing. The waiters weren't attentive too and I had to stand and look around just to get a seat. Food is also quite expensive for what you get and I was surprised to discover that the menu in Anila and Samira were almost identical (not really anything wrong about it just a small observation).

Friendly Staff. Peaceful Area. Far from the noise of the main streets.
The breakfast buffet was mediocre. They can lessen the variety of food that does not belong to breakfast like Fish Fillet and Shpherd's Pie and replace it with good Bacon. The corned beef could have been cooked better.
