Lovely room but some communication issues existed.

The location was convenient. It was clean on the day we arrived. The communication was very good.

There were two issues: 1) we had difficulty using the combination code to access the outer grill and the door to the room the 2nd day we were there. This happened a few times that day and we couldn’t get into our room. However, the “owners” were very helpful changing the access code each time we had a problem; 2) we were told housekeeping would come on day 2 but they never showed up.

Great location. Comfortable bed

Very hot in the room. Access code to outside gate only worked the first time then we had to go through the restaurant each time we wanted to go to our room which felt weird as it was a very nice restaurant and we always felt like we were in the way of their staff.

Nice place to stay with some disadvantages

Super cool location and view. I really liked the interior: modern furniture, lots of space for clothes, pretty spacious room

— Entrance through a summer terrace of a cafe, not a bit deal, but cannot safe I liked distorting people eating. — Additionally you need to go through chairs for this terrace, it’s a bit uncomfortable if you have some luggage — 3rd floor without an elevator — No air conditioner, no way you can survive without opening windows — Smells moldy in a bathroom

Charm of room. Well used space. Location in regards to closeness to downtown.

Entry to building always blocked by restaurant patrons and walkway blocked by restaurant equipment. Lots of cigarette smoke from restaurant

Well appointed rooms in a fabulous location

Wonderful rooms above a great Belgian restaurant. Spacious, clean and nicely appointed. Although above the restaurant the noise from the terrace was not a problem. Fantastic location in the center, near quite a few public transport stops. 10 minute walk from Grand Place.

If you have heavy luggage the 3 stairs will test your resolve! The entry is easy enough with the keypad but exit you might miss the button to open the gate! The only drawback to this fantastic place was the noise of the I assume fellow occupants. The noise from the street was less of an issue.

no receptionist, restaurant staff constantly blocking the doorways. key codes constantly changed and often no one could be reached so we were locked out. some areas are extremely smelly.

room with a view that is phenomenal - not as luxurious as claimed but still worthwhile

the location is absolutely phenomenal and the style of the room is.beautiful

the entrance (thru a side door to a restaurant is not appealing) and the stairs to get to the room on the 3rd floor are difficult to negotiate the room has huge potential but there were many small details that could be improved (the room is cold, no carpet and no slippers offered) I requested no feathers due to allergy - well in advance - and was told they don’t have allergy free pillows and made no effort to accommodate my request we received no help to get our suitcases up the staircase and our room was not service on rhe 2nd day of our stay staff was not the friendliest

The location was ok, but it was up on the third floor with no elevator and in order to get your bags up you need to pass through the backdoor of a restaurant which is weird. The apartment was very clean, enjoyed the Linden Tea left for us. Interiors were pleasant.

Our deposit was held for almost a month. After reading the Google reviews, we felt as if we have been scammed. The apartment was shaky so if a car went down the road a little too fast, the walls would vibrate.

The entrance and the hallway is the backstage of the restaurant with many restaurant stuffs. Not a very proper and pleasant entry experience.

Lovely penthouse apartments in a fantastic area

Amazing penthouse apartment. Warm, cozy, quiet, and spacious. Apartment was very clean and well furnished. Wifi worked well. Located near lots of restaurants and walking distance to the center of the city. Perfect for a group of friends or a family with children.

The bathtub really needs a shower curtain to prevent water from spilling out onto the bathroom floor. The bathtub is located under a lower ceiling so taller people may hit their heads. Additionally, as the apartment is a penthouse apartment and there is no lift, it does require walking up and down multiple flights of stairs to access it (4 flights of stairs). Would not recommend for mobility challenged individuals.

Fantastic location and room. 3rd floor(4th) without elevator.

Amazing room above an excellent restaurant, as well as great location! The place has character, beautifully organised and decorated, spacious and comfortable, with the beautiful old structural beams combined with modern comfort and ethnic touches. The bathroom is very nicely designed.

We had no issue with it, but it is the 3rd floor (4th for Americans) and old, uneven and relatively steep stairways: so not for people who are used to elevators or are not in good shape.

It gets quite warm under the roof in summer. The flight of stairs makes it unsuitable for the unfit - and those with a lot of luguage.

the property itself is nice

the property itself is nice , the management however is horrible , first of all expect a 250€ deposit (which is just mind blowing if I’m being honest) and if there is the slightest stain on the bedsheets expect them to keep 100€ off your deposit which btw will not be refunded within 48 hours but rather within 4to5 working days .

no air con and no fan in the room so very hot. not possible to sleep with open windows due to traffic at Sablon square narrow stair case to 3rd floor so not possible with larger suitcase

Good but the above complaints were a negative.

There was no breakfast.

No air conditioning at all. No one greeted us. Hallway to the stairs was cluttered. We were not aware that we had to schlep our suitcases up 4 flights. We had to open our windows to cool off the room and the street traffic and patrons of the restaurant below were quite noisy. The rooms were lovely, however and amenities were quite good.

Very stylish and very high quality bed and amenities.

It requires to climb 4 steep stairs. Quite a challenge if you have heavy luggage.
