Rented this place for a guys ski trip which all preferred to have their own bedroom. This is a large house which is perfectly suited for that or for multiple families vacationing together. Check in was pretty late at 5pm but after getting a sense of the size of the house and all that is needed to prepare for the next guest, that is understandable. The house has great amenities. Fully equipped kitchen for nice meals and a gas grill on the patio. Bedrooms were comfortable, clean and nicely appointed. Decor was tasteful and fitting for the mountain setting. The view of the mountains from the expansive living room window and back deck were picture perfect. Hot tub was large and worked well. There is an electric boot drying rack in the garage. It was a true ski ski out house, and I enjoyed the side of the resort it was on. It was much less busy on this side with plenty of great runs all near the house. We enjoyed the house so much we didn’t even go into town or to the main village for dining or après ski. We just skied back to the house cracked some beers made dinner and enjoyed hanging out. Staff was very attentive as well and were available to call for questions or to plow the driveway if needed. We had a nice storm during our stay so it was needed.

The house has excellent potential and great views but needs a lot of care for the price charged—runny toilets, leaky showers, filthy grill, squeaky deck, non-working second fridge, etc.

We had a wonderful stay- large living room, kitchen and deck was the perfect spot for our extended family to gather each day for dinner after a day of activities. We rented two houses for our group but the main area of this house allowed us to gather comfortably for meals. Views are incredible- so the space is great for relaxing if you need a break from the many activities available in the summer.

Perfect
This home was perfect for 4 couples to enjoy Big Sky. Everyone had a comfortable room with a bathroom with 2 rooms left over! Plenty of hot water for 8 showers. The house was well supplied with toiletries and basics. We enjoyed the common areas and also the privacy the well spaced out bedrooms allowed. It was very clean. The location and home were beautiful! We had a great summer visit. This home would be a great ski in/ ski out location.

We loved Big Sky; the restaurants, the people, the good times were many. As we made our way to the house, we were impressed by the beautiful area, in spite of ongoing construction; it merely made us anxious to see "our" house for the week. Our first disappointment began as the prearranged appointment with the property manager was missed - simply a no show. The house was a very big disappointment. We found dishes, flatware, pot & pans and glassware to have been placed in the cupboards without having been washed. It was disgusting. We had to wash before we could prepare a meal. When brought to the attention of management, we were informed that good help is hard to find. The kitchen range is caked with burned on grease. The cupboards are worn out. Hinges on the corner cabinet are broken and the door merely "hangs". The garbage disposer had to be replaced during our stay, due to a leak. and 2 showers had black mold in the corners. When we complained about the dusty house, upon our arrival, a housekeeper was sent over. We could tell that, because things were moved, not because the house was cleaned. We took photos of the broken cupboard, some of the chipped dishes, some of the dirty dishes; if I could attach them, I would be happy to do so. The slate walkway and stairs are in bad shape. The bedding is abysmal; worn out sheets, standard pillow cases on king pillows, no pillow protectors, and there were not extra blankets for the chilly nights. The mattresses are in bad shape, lumpy in some rooms. The windows haven't been washed in some time and the blinds are very dusty. Yes, we know there are forest fires and we expected the ash and dust from them. We did not expect the dust in a closed house and upon our arrival. This was our first experience with VRBO and Home Away and we will think twice using them again. What is the recourse for a property of this expense and disappointment? Should we post our disappointment on social media? We hope to hear from you soon.

The house is in much need of cleaning, repair & renovation. Unwashed kitchenware was shocking.

We have a tradition with our extended family vacationing together and my nephew chose this location. We all thought, great! Another fun family vacation (honestly-we travel well) but this was the absolute best. First of all the venue was amazing; perfectly thought out providing enough space and privacy to not be on top of each other 24/7. The indoor/outdoor space is amazing and the are events/attractions were awesome. Raftin, horseback riding, caverns, craft breweries and of course, Yellowstone were perfect. We loved Montana more than we ever expected and the Latigo Lodge made it so much better. It truly is an awesome venue.

Our family group of 12 and a baby really loved this place. The house was beautifully laid out and allowed for all of us to be together, but yet have private space when we needed it. The kitchen was well appointed which made meal prep easy. The large dining room table was perfect. Ski in/ski out made access to the Big Sky slopes so easy and when we returned the large boot warmer was just what we needed.
