Property was lovely, just as advertised. Cute little cottage, quiet and private back garden & hot tub
We did find down the side of the hot tub not long before leaving a dead rat which wasn’t pleasant at all

Loved how secluded it was, and the cottage is beautiful
The only fault I had about this property is no freezer, could not fault anything else

private, jacuzzi,
The place hadn’t had a proper clean in a long time.
The fridge was broken and smelt.
There was no freezer.
The pool is a funny green colour, honestly we didn’t know if it was safe or not.
The pool is on a booking system and when we went at 10 as booked someone inside was quite rude saying it wasn’t 10 yet! The following day, the owner was quite late to open up for us.
This place as lots of potential if the owners clean it properly and renew the fridge.
I mean we paid nearly £300 per night

The facilities were amazing..
I think a new sofa bed is needed in the living room it wasn’t very nice to sleep on.. Also there was dead flies on most of the window ledges..

The pool and jacuzzi until the owner decided he was having family time and refused anyone in the pool apart from him and his wife and kids.
Be warned......!!! We got there an hour early, received a message saying early checking in would be £40, fair enough owner said it was okay and wouldn't charge. It was my partners birthday and we invited some friends to pop by to have some food and wish happy birthday, bear in mind I paid £265 for 1 night. So its 6.30pm and the owner comes banging on the door and is very rude and quiet obnoxious accusing us of a wild party and to turn the music down and people must leave, and his kid was going to bed soon and he can hear the music so turn it right down, didn't even give us chance to speak.... then stormed off. So I went to speak to him and reason with him about what we were doing.....at first he demaned we get out of the pool room as he was using it with his wife and kids (family) I pleaded with him to listen and explained people weren't staying (there was 11 of us) and there would only be 7 in a while when others leave....whilst he sort of accepted this he was still extremely rude and was suggesting perhaps like others recently we would trash the place (we would never do such a thing and planned to ensure it was clean and tidy before we left....ive stayed in place many many times. So we left, packed up and left..... £265 for nothing, we felt uncomfortable, spoken to like something you stand in on the street....and in all honest felt like we were not welcome. If you plan on staying here, consider this, the owner is rather rude, you can't play music or have any noise to loud as he will come and complain and be angry and you can't use the pool of an evening.....and make sure you don't have to many people or put a few balloons up etc....otherwise you will be accused of wild parties. I won't stay again, good luck if you do....you'll be okay if you over the age of 70.

Great facilities, two hot tubs and plenty of towels to use plus a shower by the pool. Facilities brilliant and very clean.
It was very expensive for one night but worth it for a special occasion and if you split between a few people. Communication was a bit slow and not clear on how to get the keys - message just said a secret location. We were fine in the end as got there early to decorate and cleaner let us in.

The location was lovely! As was the owner! I arrived with my friends to celebrate my birthday, and the owner brought us over a bottle of bubbly! The pool was right next to our cottage which was a bonus, and it felt so homely and cosy!! Would definitely recommend!!
We had a few issues with the water! But we’re easily resolved within 15 minutes with the owner!

really cute place, good facilities listed. sleeps 8 so fits our full team for a staff Christmas night.
booked the pool. very excited
leak in bathroom had to use many towels through the night to soak up the floor so no one had an accident.
speakers in pool area don’t work
neither did hot tub bubbles in this area.
told to leave the pool as owner wanted to swim but he never went in
asked not to use own speaker at 5:30pm due to children & owner living near by.
we vacated pool area she stayed in hot tub by cottage
no lights near hot tub so very dark
we had music on and owner came round again walking into property to tell us to turn it down. As a party of 8 women in bikinis, we found it a little off putting to have the owner keep coming round. A phone call would have sufficed - but needless to say this was only at 7:30pm !!!
The water to the cottage kept going off
so at bed time no one could remove make up , brush teeth or flush the toilet as you can imagine this was not acceptable.

Had everything we needed and more was very happy with the property the hot tub was we’ll used and the pool and was loved by all
Only complaint would be I think the bed needed a new mattress or maybe we’re just used to a harder one but certainly wouldn’t put us of staying again

Location, amenities, the building itself which is 😍
Pool could have been open for abit longer, but after speaking with the owner I understand why it was only open for limited hours.

The place has a lot of character, very old style but well kept so that it has a posh feeling! Hot tub was amazing, pool is great ( I did not use the pool but can only imagine it was just as good). Owner, Russell, was very kind to let us stay on such short notice.
Would only be nitpicking to say that it could have been a bit warmer inside but I suppose that’s what you get with a cottage in the middle of winter.

The manager (Russel) was no help atall very argumentative challenging me in such an aggressive manor due to me travelling for work in the time of the corona virus. Rang him a
