The communication and information prior to my arrival was excellent and very helpful.
I was working at an event nearby and felt like on a mini holiday. Everything was perfectly arranged, including a small bottle of milk in the fridge
That I had to leave and couldn't stay a little longer

Very clean and well equipped
All ok

Spacious apartment with a delightful courtyard. Very well set up kitchen. Right on the Main Street . We chose it due to its central proximity to Glastonbury village, Wells, Street and Frome

Great facilities, convenient location to the area’s amenities and so quiet!
A double bed would have been preferred but the single bed was incredibly comfortable!

We happened to bump into the host as we arrived and she gave us a warm welcome. Not only tea and coffee provided, but also some fruit and very nice biscuits. Exceptionally clean property with a well-stocked kitchen. Interesting design. We are hoping to return for another visit.
The entrance to the property is through a courtyard with a lot of stairs and plants, so you need to be sure of your footing - not that easy in the dark. Duvet was a little too warm for my liking - but better that than too cold. It would be helpful to provide a map as to where the parking space is as well as the photos. I understand that their dog normally has the run of the courtyard, so you need to let the hosts know if that will be a problem (they were happy to keep it inside their house for our stay).

The stay is nice and clean. Shoes are restricted and plants in the kitchen let you have a natural, warm and good feeling. All kitchen facilities are well equipped and clean. Tissue and shower are good. There’s a lot of flowers outside that I love them most.
You would pass through steps to reach and steps inside. Refundable £50 will be pay for any damage and refund after 7 days.

Great location

good location on the main street
many many stairs - including real head bangers as you accessed the bedroom on the top loft floor. Do not recommend for anyone tall or anyone wih mobility issues.

So cosy, great communication with the host and prefect location. Place was clean and comfortable, will definitely be coming back.

Lovely apartment. Complimentary biscuits and fruit was a kind touch. Free parking. Nothing too much trouble for Ruth, the host. Only 30 minutes from Longleat, very convenient.
All good

Beautiful little apartment

The apartment was very well designed for the space and was extremely well furnished and equipped. The courtyard was full of wonderful plants and the hosts 8were gracious and helpful
The internet was down due to some technical problems beyond the hosts ability to repair.
4.7
the apartment was clean, comfy and had all that was needed including a lovely fan which was most needed in this hot weather and the oasis of a patio was beautiful . The host is friendly, helpful and their two dogs very quiet and no problem. The position in Shepton Mallet town centre was fabulous for walking to the historic sites.
Only minus point was the very steep stairs to the bed room. Also being opposite the pub and in the hot weather the windows open it got a little rowdy on the second night. However the landlord did move the people on, so not the fault of our host. quite a lot of stairs in this property so if you have mobility problems its not the place for you .

Just perfect!!.

Well appointed and very clean. Near to East Stannard House.
Difficult to find despite being in the centre of Shepton Mallet. Not ideal for anyone with mobility issues. Metal staircase leading up to the apartment plus keypads etc to enter the property made it difficult with bringing luggage in. Rope handles on a twisting staircase leading to a small bedroom problematic especially with the bathroom being on the ground floor. Patio area outside the property small and cluttered the owners washing hanging out! A returnable deposit of £50 required on arrival which we found a little irritating ?

We liked the details that had been added to an already lovely apartment. Those extra touches like fruit and biscuits make the welcome more personal and we loved all the plants.
The apartment is quirky in a good way and has everything you might want for a stay away from home.

Great central location. Clean, comfortable and welcoming apartment. Ruth was brilliant and went the extra mile making sure mum was comfy and everything was ok (I hadn't factored in the tight spiral staircase to the bedroom. Ruth kindly set up the sofa bed in the easier to access living room).
Lovely welcoming additions of fruit, cookies and milk were waiting for us on arrival.
Such a lovely apartment, I would have loved to stay longer than one night to really enjoy the comforts.

Loved having the space of an apartment with a full kitchen, washing machine and lounge. It was warm and sunny and nicely decorated and has every thing you need. It is also quiet, but you have easy access to restaurants, cafes and grocery stores. Parking.
Unfortunately the stairs . Whilst the stairs to the bedroom are pictured on the listing, you don’t appreciate how hard they are to negotiate with a suitcase until you try it. The bedroom is on the 3rd floor of a very old building in the Main Street.

A perfect home from home. Everything that you could possibly need and more. The hosts have really thought about who maybe staying there and accomdated for all guests. A lovely cosy lounge and large kitchen/diner and loved the attic bedroom. The garden terrace is beautiful and should imagine if you where staying in the summer months it would be lovely to sit out there with a glss of wine. Private parking spot was a great bonus. Will definitely return if in the area again.

We absolutely loved this delightful apartment with everything needed for a short stay - very comfortable and cosy. So close to the main street in Shepton Mallet. Lovely extras of fruit and biscuits on arrival. Ruth our host was helpful and lovely too. Thank you!

Central location, comfy beds and very clean. Extras such as cookies and fruit provided. Safe environment and easy walk to cafes, park and shops. Lovely plants around and inside the apartment. Lovely bright kitchen and bedroom.
Toilet seemed to take a very long time to flush. Not suitable for less mobile due to steps and steep windy stairs up to bedroom.

Beautiful quirky appartment with everything we needed for our stay

The Quirkiness of the property, and how well it was furnished. Very comfortable and cosy

The apartment was very clean and tidy. It had every feature we needed, it was warm and welcoming and it felt like home from home.
Ruth & her partner respected our privacy, didn't mind us coming back at ungodly hours and they have such a cute dog!
Everything was perfect.

Our second stay here. This is a comfortable, clean, cosy and homely stay. Right in the centre of shepton mallet but feels like a secluded cottage. The property is quiet. The hosts are respectful and friendly.
The apartment is so clean and bright I was a little anxious about muddy dog paws in the entrance carpet. The patio space is beautiful and brimming with plants, as amazing as it is it meant my dog had little room to stretch her legs
4.7
The apartment was immaculate on arrival.
Due to time of year (and obviously cost of living) heating had not been on, so property was quite cold to begin with!
4.7
the lay out was lovely, no shoes policy was respected and appreciated as the property was very clean and tidy.
only the parking
