Sehr schönes großes Zimmer mit tollem Ausblick, Ausstattung noch verbesserungswürdig

Das Zimmer ist groß und durch das Möbiliar und die Farben schön gestaltet, das Doppelbett breit und bequem. Toll ist auch der Blick auf den See. Für uns war außerdem die Fußläufigkeit zum Bahnhof wichtig. Zwar ging es bei der Ankunft abends erst einmal 15 Minuten ordentlich den Berg hoch, aber damit musste man ja rechnen. So kamen wir auch schon gleich am empfehlenswerten Pizza-Imbiss vorbei. Den Schlüsselkasten fanden wir durch die Info mit den Fotos schnell.

Wenn ich ein Zimmer mit Balkon buche, rechne ich schon damit, dass ich darauf auch sitzen kann. Es gab aber weder Tisch noch Stühle darauf. Um Sessel aus dem Wohnbereich hinauszustellen, mussten beide Flügel der Balkontür geöffnet werden, von denen aber einer defekt und nur mit einer Zange zu öffnen war. Auf unsere wiederholte Nachfrage hin wurde uns erst am Nachmittag vor unserer Abreise geholfen, so dass wir den Balkon nur einen von drei Abenden nutzen konnten. - Im Innenbereich wäre ein Wasserkocher praktisch. Vor allem fehlte aber ein zweites Handtuch pro Person (es gab nur ein Duschhandtuch).

I liked the price. It is very cheap for Locarno/ Lugano.

Please explain that parking must be booked in advance. I didn't book it and arrived very late we had a lot of trouble to park the car. I though I can park the car and pay after. I didn't understand that there is no one at the place.

Pleasantly surprised travellers

The rooms were really clean and felt like they were newly renovated. The location was a reasonable walk away from the center and the neighbourhood was peaceful. Check-in was really easy!

Good location

For the better part of £300 this was a terrible hotel room. There are no staff- everything is done through a series of boxes. The rooms are basic to say the least, they have no a/c and mine at least was next to a busy road. This is a popular area and books up early, I suspect that the owners is taking advantage of this.

The apartment was bigger than expected. Wc paper like towels were available. The refrigerator is also big enough

Unfortunately, the apartment was not clean, the floor was very dirty, the contact person very unfriendly and not courteous. It was a very hot day and there is no air conditioning in the rooms. It also did not have fans and even when we asked, we received a curt answer that there are no fans. We could not sleep for a second because of the heat. We opened the windows, of course, but because the apartment is right next to the busy street, we could not sleep a second because of the noise and mosquitoes. I have had the same room in February everything was fine, we didn't needed a fan becaus it was in February. But I paid at that time 100 euros for the accommodation instead of the 317 euros I have paid now. In the living room there is 1 small sofa that is probably there as a decoration, because it is so small that you can hardly sit down. So in total this accommodation is not to be recommended.

Superb

Nice old apartment with great rooms. Everything was clean and as described. Kitchen ara was a bonus and room with own bathroom and toilet.

Check-in instructions and method was a bit complicated. Kitchen supplies was narrow. Shower wet the whole bathroom floor.

The price is quite reasonable in terms of performance. Central location.

There was a very unpleasant musty smell in the room and in the hostel. I had a reservation for 3 nights. But that's why I had to leave 1 night before. Also the room color is very depressing.(blue).

Clean and comfortable, but bring ear plugs if you're a light sleeper!

Clean, comfortable, and spacious room! Lovely back patio area.

Thin walls, so you can hear neighbors and the hallway. No separation between shower and toilet, so the entire bathroom floor was wet.

The landlord will only reply to your request by SMS or WhatsApp do not accept phone calls. The most annoying thing that happened was that he changed the price right after I contacted him to get to know more information regarding the location; the price went from 99.00 to 129.00. The other thing is to think twice before booking room number 4 as it is very close to the road and you will regret it at night because of the noise of motor vehicles.

Excellent place!

Great stay, rooms were surprisingly quiet, and facilities were great! The kitchen served us very well and rooms were nice and clean. Location is great!

The sheets were weirdly scratchy but also found this at another hotel so maybe this is typical.

Perfect!!!

The welcoming and the communication with the owner was personal and professional. Parking at the location is available (and recommended!) Alternative parking in the vicinity is difficult to find. We recommend the property because it suited our needs perfectly and is good value.

For us there was nothing at all not to like.

Great value for money.

Perfectly fine for the purpose, staying one night in transit in Locarno - very clean, easy to enter with good instructions, good bed, great blinds to make the room dark.

I slept like a baby but my partner woke up from the cars on the road in the morning.

Clean and perfect

Weekends we went have a leisure time but unfortunately until midnight 01.00 we couldn't sleep because of noise. Room no 6 some young boys are making party and continually ring door bell and disturb us. Kids also didn't sleep well. Otherwise everything perfect.

Cheap and good accomodation, only the noises from the cars outside the window can be probematic

- Location quite near the city center of Locarno, which is accessible in 15 minutes of walk - Only remote and very good contact with the owner; clear instructions of check-in and check-out, parking location etc. - Comfortable shower in the bathroom - Kitchen available with all needed devices (microwave, kettle) and even some basic foodstuffs like cofee - Parking place near the hotel available for 10 CHF per day

- Only one coverlet for one twin bed, the second one would increaese the comfort of sleeping (not every couple sleeps under the one coverlet) - Only one towel per person for the whole duration of stay (a few days) - Hotel is very close to the busy street, so the noises from the cars are quite distinctive at night and in the morning

Disappointing

The room was fine and it was nice to have access to a kitchen. There was not much available in Locarno for that night and this place was not far from the city centre.

The self check-in was a nightmare. They forgot to mention that there were two different keys, one for the main entrance and one for the room.
