Die Lage ist super. Gleich nebenan gibt es eine Bushaltestelle die nach Enschede City fährt. Das Personal ist super hilfsbereit und freundlich.
Das Abendessen war leider ein wenig überteuert.

Located just outside the city but public bus stop is just outside the hotel. Staff were very friendly and the breakfast was good.
We needed a family room but had to settle for two rooms. Still acceptable for our needs.

friendly people at the reception and always enough charging spots at the parking lot. The rooms are nice and have good beds. The breakfast in served in a very cozy space and the quality of the breakfast is good for the price.
The rooms do not have airconditioning, which is the main problem. Staying here in the summer is not very comfortable. for the same price there are several other hotels in the area that have airconditioning, a pool and gym etc.

Size of the room and the comfort of the bed!
The bathtub was excellent, loved having a nice warm bubble bath there :)
Staff was lovely on arrival as well - very easy check-in process!
I only stayed one night so didn't explore it further but heating in the room.
The food service was good but could be improved :)

the room was nice, felt like a home, but there are no phones and the room was cold.
I ordered breakfast with the small card that you can fill out, but they never picked it up. In the morning i called front desk and he said that something went wrong, so thats why I didn’t get my breakfast. I was so pissed of that I just decided to leave. Ridiculous. Never experienced something like this before. I hung my card on my door at 17.00 and they were supposed to pick it up until 23.00 for the next day. Never happened. Why have this service????

Spacious room. Good breakfast. Easy to park your car.
Location is convenient for university, but a little far away from the city center.

We have stayed here before. This is a friendly hotel at an excellent price.
Breakfast choice (hot) could be better. Only bacon & scrambled eggs offered.
One day our room was not serviced. Just a bin emptied & bath mat changed.

The place is in major need of updating and a deep clean.

Location close to University of Twente was a great plus. Also, bus stops to Enschede as well as Hengelo stations are just nearby. The room was spacious and amenities were very good. The staff was very helpful in sorting out issues.
1. The room booked was a Twin room. This, to me, meant a room in two connected parts both at the same level, similar to concept of twin beds, where two beds are at the same level. It turned out that it was a room with two parts at two different levels connected by a staircase with triangular steps around a shaft. The staff was kind to help out and give me a more reasonable room albeit as an upgrade (This is what I Liked about the staff).
I suggest the wording describing the room in Booking.com be changed to an unambiguous expression to avoid wrong understanding on the part of the Guest .
2. Vegetarians have very little to expect in breakfast. The hot food made for breakfast should have a few vegetarian options.

The location and style
Beds and pillows are uncomfortable- pillows extremely high. Cleanses if the room was poor. They barely make bed and do not clean the room.

Our stay at the hotel was entirely functional, as we were attending an event in the city and spend all of our time there. Considering that, the most important thing (the beds) were nice. As an added bonus, the staff was friendly. :)
Basically: the value. We stayed at this hotel because even though it was expensive, it was among the cheapest option available in that area. We weren't in need of a fancy room, but given the charged price I would expect a lot more from the room than we got.
In no particular order. The wall was damaged in places. The night stands had no place to place stuff other than on the top. The room was situated on a side of the hotel that featured the night-long clicking noise from the traffic lights close by. The bathroom door does not have a lock. The bathroom itself is old and while not dirty, it was stained in places. The shower head had almost no pressure and makes noise if you hold it the wrong way. Even though you can enter your room with a keycard, you can't use said keycard to enter the hotel at night. You have to ring the bell and wait for staff to let you in. The room is basically two (not particularly large) double beds, a small desk and a bathroom with just enough space to walk around everything.
As mentioned earlier, these are all things I did not mind during my stay. And if the room wasn't priced as high, I would not even have mentioned them. But alas, it wasn't, and I've stayed at hotels that felt way more premium for the same price.
For context: we payed €180 per night, for three people.
