A wonderful stay in a beautiful old building with so much character. For anyone wanting to appreciate Dutch hospitality in a beautiful rural location this bed and breakfast is highly recommended. Breakfast was excellent with great attention to detail and presentation.
The bathroom and toilet are separated by a partial dividing wall with limited privacy.

It was a lovely, lovely break in super accommodation. The room was marvellously quiet, with a fine bathroom and excellent breakfast provided.
It was great. No complaints.

breakfast croissant and bread was quite dry. like it was from the day before.

Great location, great host, great breakfast provided each morning plus tea/coffee always available.
Just a tip to the advertising - The living accommodation in the apartment is very high - obviously a quirk of the wonderful old barn but maybe make it a bit more obvious that you go up and down a steep staircase!

The rural location was great and it worked for an overnight stay. I would have been happy to stay for a few more days to explore the area.

This B&B is a hidden gem that deserves to be less hidden. Though situated between two lively cities at short distances, its environment is rural and quiet. The hosts are very welcoming and friendly (they know several languages, including even Vietnamese). The breakfast is excellent.
Not a negative, but be aware that some rooms have steep staircases towards the beds, so avoid them if you cannot negotiate them. And be aware there is no public transport there.

Everything, a hidden gem. Super friendly owner. Located in the countryside but super close by car to downtown. We simply loved this place.
If anything could be improved it would be to have shelves/wardrobe a bit lower for smaller people like me and to place a hook in the bathroom where you can hang a toilet bag.

Everything was wonderful. Spacious room. Beautiful design. Perfect starting place for lovely walks. Simple but tasty breakfast. Everything was very easy going. Perfect short stay and would have liked to have stayed longer! We'll be back!

We stayed two nights in Op ‘t Oorbeck for a short break .
The owner is very nice. Very clean room , good shower and big sink, comfortable bed.
The environment is quite and beautiful, some chicken and cats outside.
Breakfast is good as well, very relaxing to have breakfast in a cozy shared living room.
It is a amazing B&B for couples to have a short holiday. Already recommended it to some friends . We will definitely come back again too!
Nothing.
But will appreciate more if they have bicycle to rent.

Beautiful accommodations in a wooded setting, but within short reach of Enschede. Farmer Bert is a wonderful host.

After a long bicycle ride, at dusk, in the middle of the woods of Southeast Overijssel we were surprised to see this attractive farm building at the side of the road. The barn has been perfectly renovated with a cosy and spacious central lobby. Very attractive interior. On the side are the rooms which are well decorated and very comfortable. Good showers and good beds. It all looks as if everything is brand-new. A nice extra is the Chinese porcelain objects that are displayed in this B&B. Breakfast was beautifully laid out and tasty. You can open the back door of your room and sit outside or have a stroll in the beautiful surroundings. Bicycles can be safely stored in one of the buildings. The city of Enschede is really nearby.

We arrived after a day of walking and had a wonderful cup of tea with fresh scones in the stunning tea garden. Beautiful garden setting with loads of flowers, and an amazing choice of teas. Fresh coffee and tea available for guests in the lounge as well as a small bar. Our room had a door opening outside and two chairs to soak up the evening sun. We took our breakfast tray outside the next morning to enjoy the flowering garden again, with a large spread of breads, meats, cheeses and regional jam as well as vegan options for one of us. Enjoyed our stay very much!
Hard to say what we did not like as the setting is the outside setting is so beautiful and decorations inside caught our eye as well. After two days of hiking we would have loved to enjoy the amazing big bath but unfortunately there were no bath salts or bath oil. Would also have liked a small table outside to put our drinks. Those are small details though!
