Lovely location, gorgeous hotel, fantastic amenities, wonderful staff.

Space in hotel room; comfort of bed; daily refreshed refreshments and towels; location to Reception; friendliness and helpfulness of all staff met during stay; leisure facilities; food was good.

Wet room in bathroom (meant for 90-year old father, but glad he didn't stay in that room as it became dangerous with the amount of water that didn't drain away very quickly; toilet flush sometimes stuck;

Except being kept awake for the two nights staff lovely was ok

Breakfast was good but should have been included in price!!

Think adjacent rooms should be for family, no fault of the little children crying at 2.30 in the morning.. keeping residents awake.. should be for families only..

Nice clean hotel with friendly staff

Lovely hotel with nice staff

While it wasn’t a major issue for us as we were just visiting friends in the area, the hotel is located a bit outside Ballina so a taxi would be required to get in & out of the town centre if you wanted to go out socialising & taxis are difficult to get in ballina.

Woke up on a building site

Staff were all very nice.

Woke up to builders on a scaffolding standing at my window banging and and plastering the wall of my room! They could see in clearly and I could see them clearly,all at 9am at the latest. Absolutely unbelievable,couldn't believe they hadn't arranged them work on am empty room in the mornings. Hotel wasn't even busy so definitely had empty rooms. Worst stay I've had anywhere,would definitely not go back.

Amazing hotel with everything you need!

The hotel was lovely, the location was great the rooms were clean the hotel itself was clean. The breakfast was brilliant every morning never had an issue with anything while we were staying here. The staff were lovely and helpful - we would definitely stay again.

Pur stay was fantastic and I would certainly come back again due to high level of service and cleanliness of the entire

the property was lovely, I had a pleasant stay and would recommend and come back in the future.

The jacuzzi was out of use, one of the elevators was also out of order. whilst dinner was superb and delicious, breakfast was a little underwhelming. Showering or having a bath was not great due to an off or weird smell coming from the water. Both my friend and I noticed this in our room and the showers in the spa/swimming changing room. Water pressure was very low at times too which felt hard to water in our rooms.

Staff were wonderful! Rooms were spotless. Girl at the pool was so lovely letting my daughter have a little look at the pool before we intended to go down.

We had a.meal at the restaurant the first night of our stay. Chips were so hard and my husband's burger was not great either. Very expensive when this was the case. This is why we didn't eat here the second night . We loved the hotel but this did let it down a bit for us as we usually eat at the hotel in the evenings.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good and the rooms were a very good size.

The mattress was poor, caved on one side and there was an open packet of biscuits on the tea tray.

My family and I had a great time at Great National Hotel Ballina. The rooms are big, very clean and comfortable. Friendly and helpful 24/7 reception. Pretty good stylish bar/bistro with good food and affordable prices. Swimming pool is fantastic, well kept and optimal temperature. There’s also a gym. Hotel surroundings are quiet. Good reception area. WiFi was fine. Gigantic free parking area. Good (irish) breakfast. Overall it is a nice hotel and was better than what I expected. I recommend it and hope I can stay there again some day.

Swimming pool closing time on weekends at 6pm :( Would be nice if could stay open longer.

Friendly and helpful staff. Location is very good Dinner in restaurant was excellent.

Breakfast was very poor particularly the hot food trended to be tastless. If I stayed again I would go out for Breakfast.
