The photos of the property do not do it justice, absolutely gorgeous. The river flowing in the background was so relaxing.The decor was great, the beds were so comfortable. Everything you would need was provided. Definitely would stay here again.

This beautiful cabin was perfect for our family. It was clean, quiet, and the scenery could not be beat. We enjoyed playing in the creek and the location was a great point for venturing to hike, shop, or explore the area.

First off we loved the look & location of house, but there were a lot of problems. There's mice, and as someone who lives in a rural area I know they happen but this was ckearly not a new issue as evidence showed. It was a daily occurance freah droppings on the bathroom counters & innthe kitchen drawers & cabinets. Unfortunately firat notice only after waking up washing face & hands drying off with a towle that had a turd on it since indidnt have glasses or contacts in yet. Then to have to wash every dish & utensil before using it is not on my vacation bucket list. There was zero maintenance items around to get rid of them. Neither bedroom door shuts/latcges. When staying with friends that is not great. One minute you're in the bedroom half naked changing & the next your saying hello to everyone in the livingroom. The master bed is extremely high, not ideal for older people, the second bedroom has a gap between the bed & wall where your pillow will constantly get lost in the middle of the night waking up with no pillow and a sire neck. The lights on the outside do not work at all,so once dusk hits there was no lights to even consider to safety be outside or use the deck to the river/creek. There was also very little toliet paper. Each bathroom had 2 rolls but they were not even full new rolls. All together we may have had 2 - 2.5 rolls if we put them together. Again thenhouse it self was nice but too many issue when you're supposed to be on a carefree vacation.

Nice cabin feel and very clean. Couple of negatives were road was very close and noisy. Way to many taxadermy anumals for us and tv reception was very frusterating

We enjoyed the home - it had several nice aspects. Very clean, good kitchen, the king bed was super-comfortable, and the many options in lighting and ceiling fans was appreciated. The screened porch overlooking the forest with the sound of the river in the background was wonderful – well furnished with rockers, tables and chairs to enjoy outdoor meals, without bugs! The creek access is down a steep grade through the trees, with flights of wooden steps, but neither up nor down was more than any relatively fit adult can handle. The creek bank was fairly level, with soft moss and grass – perfect spot for relaxing in a camping chair or putting your feet in the water. Home needs more trash baskets; facial tissues would be nice; bath soap is NOT provided. Some information about local attractions, hikes, restaurants, etc. in a guest packet would br helpful and hospitable. VERY close to road and neighbors. As stated in the description, there is NO cell service, don't bother trying. Wi-fi is fine in the house, but doesn't even reach driveway or fire pit. Overall, a comfortable home and a good deal. Would likely return.

Very well maintained and organized. Outstanding inside decor...very cute and personalized. Played golf 3 days. 3 different courses in mountians. Hilly mountain roads. Cell service is a little spotty. (I think thats expected in this area)Very beautiful area.

This was a wonderful and relaxing place to stay! We loved being on the Soque River. Very quiet but close to Helen, and downtown Clarkesville. Beautiful house!

We booked so we could take my 82 year old husband trout fishing for a “bucket list” time fishing in north Georgia. We asked the property manager if this cabin was conducive for this type of elderly fishing and we were told it would work great. Upon our arrival we noticed… The photos do not do justice to the type of stairs and walking needed to get to the river. We had a WONDERFUL TIME, but we had to go into Helen to find suitable fishing for our senior citizen to fish. This is not a cabin with river access for an ailing senior.

We came up on my husband‘s birthday so he could fish. He caught a few small rainbow trout right below the cabin, which was nice. The cabinet itself was nice. We stay at quite a few weekend rentals in the mountains and beach and a few things that were missing were just first day coffee to get you by and also there weren’t a ton of drinking glasses. Not trying to be picky just easy practical stuff. Had a little hiccup with cleaning the Owner fixed it immediately no issues there :-)

Cabin was very nice. You can hear the stream below but it rained the entire weekend so we couldn’t go down for a better view. We would definitely stay here again. It was quiet with no traffic. We had no problems finding the location. There is no cell service but thankfully wifi took care of that.

I cannot say enough good things about this cabin. First off, the management is very responsive. They care about the property, and it shows as they go above and beyond to address your needs. As for the cabin itself, the creek/river on the property is wonderful and yes, you can hear it from the house. The bear theme inside was actually fun, bringing the cabin design to its appropriate point. I loved the full windows throughout the interior both for the view and the natural light. Both bedrooms have their own full bathrooms with showers. We used the fireplace which made the experience wholesome. The location is great, it is a super short drive to Helen but yet far away from the busy hustle and bustle of the tourist spot. We stopped at Ingles grocery store and picked up every single item we needed for our Thanksgiving dinner including firewood. This store was like a Publix on steroids, it even had a Starbucks inside. Also, the is very close to the Falls if you care to go see it. Overall, clean cabin, well stocked kitchen, fantastic view, peaceful, and great location.

Nicely decorated. Awesome water sounds can be heard from all deck and porch areas. Would suggest more light switch labels, as we couldn’t figure how to turn on lights to lower decks to enjoy after dark. Also microwave wasn’t working during our stay, but manager will check before next guests. Overall, enjoyed our stay very much.

The cabin was very nice and clean! Thought it was closer to downtown Helen, but wasn’t too far! The internet was terrible! You couldn’t watch anything on tv. The internet keep spinning, it would play for a few minutes then go out! Very disappointing not being able to watch tv.

The cabin was spotless and very well appointed. Overall we had a very relaxing stay. However, the internet router was not working and there is no cell service. I drove into town and called the property mgr twice, left voice mails, and emailed her to see if she had a resolution. No response. The lack of wifi is no big deal but I was disappointed the the PM did not respond.

There with my older sons for trout fishing and oktoberfest in Helen so we were not in the house most of the day. When we were there it was like being home and being hunters we loved everything about the decor. Great wifi, comfortable beds, comfortable seating, nice big porch, great oitdoor seating to watch and listen to the stream, fire pit, etc. It's secluded but still close enough to a few great towns. Near rivers, streams, lakes and absolutely beautiful countryside that goes on forever. When we go back we won't even look for another place because it's perfect. The only thing it needs is lights on the steps to the front door because it is dark in that spot but by no means a big deal.

We enjoyed our stay as the inside of property was as advertised and pictures shown were accurate. We felt it was a bit much with the "Bear Theme", counting between 50 & 55 bears ranging from small ones to large toilet paper holders & big stuffed ones on the beds. However, the outside was nowhere close to the picture of the Soque River shown (although not saying it was right behind the cabin it was implied by the picture. In my opinion this is false and misleading advertising and should be removed) It was not even close to being accurate and must have been taken many years ago. This was very disappointing as we were looking forward to seeing and hearing the babbling of rushing water. Being the first cabin off the road you could hear the traffic better than the River. Also, there were none to very little "sounds of the River" and definitely not a "Beautiful view”. There was no mention of the many steep steps to be taken, which we took, to try and get a view of the river. When we reached the bottom all we could see in the distance was a small trickle of water, very disappointed. The entire outside back area behind the cabin was unkept and covered with underbrush. So, if this is important to any guests keep this in mind. Oh, one last thing, if you missed the "we're the first cabin, as I did, good luck locating address. In summary, if you're looking for a really nice cabin and don't plan on spending any time outside, this is the cabin for you.

The cabin was nice,but had a musky smell,the pictures were a bit deceiving,you had to go up and down several sets to steps to get to the water,which was very shallow.not somewhere I would book again.

The design and layout of the house is perfect. Room sizes, room orientation, kitchen design, bathroom layouts, the gorgeous screened patio, the exceptional decor, the furnishings, the wonderfully comfortable beds, the wooded setting next to the river, the sound of running water, the proximity to town with a rural feel - perfect!

Cabin was nice, quite and stream was wonderful. Only thing was we only had 1 roll TP, no paper towels, 2 trash bags for week stay. We bought tp, paper towels and box of trashbags. My husband is home dialysis patient, so layout of cabin was perfect.

Excellent property and pleasant owner. Please change directions to 8 (not 7) miles on Unicoi Park Road! We went back and forth between mile markers 7 and 8 at night in the rain! The property was about .2 mile PAST the 8 mile marker. Had to call the owner...

The cabin is beautiful! Decorated perfectly. A stream close enough to hear, birds singing overhead. Conveniently located to Helen and area attractions. So peaceful and relaxing.

Thè property is beautiful. We had a fire in the firepit most evenings and also grilled on the charcoal grill. The cabin is close to other attractions, but we enjoyed some of the time just enjoying the natural setting and listening to the sounds of nature
