It was a 10 out of 10. It succeeded our expectations. All the staff was welcoming, helpful and you could feel they loved working at Pupetto. The hotel is beautifully situated, rooms clean and nice and spectacular view.
Everything was perfect

Best location l. Just a short walk on the path from downtown Positano.
Twin beds way too narrow.
Stairs back up to catch car transfer are not fun. Next time we are taking the ferry to and from Positano out of Naples!

Great location. We enjoyed the restaurant and beach club.

The staff were so friendly and the views were amazing. It was less than a 10 minute walk to the centre of everything but the hotel had a private beach where you can’t rent umbrellas and beach chairs for two people which was 40 euro. The beach umbrellas and chairs in the centre were 80 euro. The hotels breakfast has a wide variety also.
The beach umbrellas weren’t the best.

I'm glad to tell that it was the best place we visited along the Amalfi Coast, and we're planning to return to this fantastic location. It's wonderful to know that it exceeded our expectations. The fact that they were in contact with you even before your arrival and took care of transporting your luggage to the hotel without the need to navigate stairs and paths shows their exceptional service. They truly went above and beyond to make your stay enjoyable.
The room with a balcony and a sea view was truly comforting and provided us with some of the best photos we brought back to Uruguay. I don't want to forget to mention the people, starting with Gabriella, the owner, Verónica, and Magda, who assisted us in everything. It was lovely to feel at home, as they paid attention to every detail for us. To make our departure even more special, they allowed us to stay a few extra hours in the room. And as if that weren't enough, in the afternoon, before our taxi arrived, they offered us the opportunity to take a refreshing swim at the beach and use their facilities to freshen up. THANK YOU, POSITANO, THANK YOU, PUPETTO, for having such soul, which is ultimately what we truly value in the beautiful places we visit. We will be back!
I liked everything.

We had a family of 4 and the family room was huge. A separate bedroom with single bed and the larger bed and single in the main room.
outside terrace was awesome.
breakfast was awesome.
loved the location- 5- 10 minute walk to main part of town. I liked not being right in the heart of it.

I cannot stress enough how AMAZING this hotel was. I want to give a special thanks to Magda, she coordinated for us to help us solve an issue that came up with so much kindness, compassion, and helped me feel so much better and in good hands. I absolutely loved this place. The view from the room was an absolute dream, and the location was so incredible for us because we did not want to be in a loud area but wanted to be close to main Positano. It was a 20 min walk to the main beach, but this place was so amazing you almost didn’t even want to leave. The food at the restaurant was top-notch, and the wine selection, amazing. As another plus we are a gay couple and felt absolutely safe and at no point “othered” by staff, which does happen in other parts of Italy. Overall I cannot recommend this place enough. I just wished I stayed there longer.

Loved this hotel! Location on the water, couldn’t be any better. The xtra walk into town, is actually lovely. Beach club in front is great as well. Didn’t have a chance to eat at the restaurant, but the breakfast was great! Really nice staff!
I have been to Positano, three different times, and this would be my first pic, for something close to the beach.

no exclusive beach beds for hotel guests. have to pay €15-30 euros per day. bathrooms are small and quite dated in decor but clean.

Location is unreal. Close to the bustling restaurants and shops of the main town, but also a world away. Loved the daily short walk on the cliffside path into town - extremely romantic. Having the beach literally steps from our room was beyond amazing. We swam in the Mediterranean multiple times a day, bring beach shoes because the pebbles can be uncomfortable. The 20EU fee per day for a sunbed at the Beach Club was a bargain! The hotel restaurant is the best in Positano, the desserts in particular are mind blowing. Beach Club restaurant also consistently tasty, we ate there daily. Room was clean and spacious, terrace beautiful overlooking the sea, bathroom was very recently renovated and luxe for 3-star. The sheer beauty of the hotel's setting can't be matched. We will be back.
Mattress a little too firm for my old bones! But that's really about it. Service is brisk and efficient, don't expect to be pandered to - this is a 3 star hotel, NOT a luxury resort, and these folks work for wages not just tips so they will not bow and scrape/anticipate your every need. We liked this aspect, but if you're looking for sycophantic staff, you'll be frustrated by Pupetto.

The location, the facilities and the food were really, really good. The walk way to Positano beach is the absolute dream. The staff were so helpful and couldn’t do enough for you, we will 100% be back. The price was also so good, the food and drink in the hotel are half the price as Positano beach restaurants and just as tasty with gorgeous views.

We loved pretty much everything. It was really a really comfortable place with a wonderfully helpful staff. The rooms felt luxurious, especially with the sea view. The continental breakfast with its scrambled eggs (FINALLY) was perfect, with a handmade cappuccino and espresso. The location is to die for, even if there were a lot of steps, but it's nothing compared to many others on the Amalfi Coast. They helped with our luggage and gave us shortcuts and we generally got a very calm and joyful feeling from the place. Loved it.
The sunbeds cost extra, which we were surprised about.

The location was excellent for us - on the quieter side of Positano.
Victoria, Magda and Gabriella from the reception were very nice and helpful.
The food was very good at the restaurant and we ate the most fantastic linguine with truffles - thanks to Marcello and of course the chef, although the dish was not on the menu.
Antonino was also very friendly and accommodating, making us pizza on demand and the best cappuccino in the mornings.
We also would like to thank Enza, who cleaned our room impeccably every day.
Definitely recommend this place!!!

Great view, food was good, service was good
Hotel hid the fact that hotel was 250 steps down from parking lot.
Yet when I made the reservation I said I was handicapped. Also, first night there room was not made up for 2nd night. Also the walkway to Postino center was about 14 mile with path going up and down inclin. Lastly, the shower was tiny, comfortable for a kid, but not a full sized man. It was about 2X2 square. e.

Location was wonderful. Slightly removed from the busiest 'main' beach with easy, beautiful walk there for shops, more restaurants etc. Swimming at the hotel beach and around the corner from the end of the beach was beautiful - and not crowded. It was a challenge to get up higher to visit with our friends who stayed up on the hill - but if you don't mind the thousand+ steps, you can get everywhere on foot!!
The bed and bedding (blanket, sheets) could have been improved on... everything was clean and spacious but the bed was something we left hoping more for.
