merece la pena la estancia, pero desayunar en cualquier bar del pueblo mejor

si, es un poco anticuado.

el desayuno una lástima, el tomate no es natural, el aceite de cápsula, el jamón corriente, no entiendo que con los productos extremeños que hay, no se ofrezcan para desayunar, dado que forman parte de la cultura, máxime una hospedería. parece un desayuno de cualquier parte del mundo sin la cultura local.

El desayuno muy bien, la ubicación fantástica, el personal muy amable, la habitación cómoda y tranquila. Muy limpio y un hotel muy bonito.

Un lugar que podía ser encantador, pero deja mucho que desear en cuanto al mantenimiento.

El desayuno bien y la persona que lo atendió muy agradable.Al ser día de diario era a la carta.

Pues la habitación muy triste.Solo fue un lugar para dormir.Las persianas no funcionaban y con perspectiva de no funcionar. Nada acogedora.

Excellent hotel with good facilities

Good quality hotel with excellent facilities and pleasant staff. Rooms and beds are large and there is plenty of attention to detail. Car park is extra but is in a private underground garage. Restaurant is excellent, good quality food at a reasonable price. The hotel has both an historic section and a modern extension. It has plenty of character to appreciate.

Excellent room and facilities, central location in town, restaurant food of excellent quality, hotel has a lot of character, good night halt for travellers but also an excellent base to explore the region. Staff friendly and helpful. As it is in the old town, the car park was essential.

I can't think of anything. This hotel is run to high standards.

Lovely up-market hotel with gourmet food at a surprisingly low price.

What a find. This is a sylish, classy hotel serving gourmet food (and we are picky diners) at a remarkable price. Staff helpful and agreeable, dining / breakfast room art-deco wrought iron and artistic coloured glass ceiling. The town, which was new to us, is a little gem. There is a circular walk around the historic centre with old churches, (stork's nests in belfries) and a central square with cafes and bars. But you wouldn't want to eat anywhere other than the hotel for price and quality.

The buidling. the dinner provided, the general facilities.

the furnishing of the rooms was very limited even in a juniour suite. the lounge provided was of little use because of that. No suitcase stand or stool. The bed was only a small double which is inadequate, particularly in hot weather.

Great base for tourism in the area. The nearby Roman amphitheatre is a must, as is the castle that overlooks it.

Great location. Private parking. Really helpful staff – found answers instead of creating problems. Outstanding modernist building. Good breakfast. Excellent set menu.

An absolute gem

It is my ideal hotel - 'superb' is the only word for it. The building itself is a gem. An elegant bourgeois town house in the Mudejar style has been modernised and extended in a way that retains all of the elegance. Our room in the modern wing was large, very comfortable and stylishly modern. The staff were charming. A real pleasure to be welcomed by them. Breakfast was a delight served in the lovely restaurant. Simply divine. Who needs Paradors when you have a gem like this?

Only stayed overnight on the way to Caceres. Will certainly be back next year.

Been here before. Last summer in fact. Loved it then, love it now. Staff are so friendly and willing to help. Food is excellent. We were given a fantastic room. Extremely spacious. Private parking for a fee, safe and secure.

The architecture of the old building

Mainly the food was not up to a 4star rating. The dinner was poorly served. If starters have to come out of a fridge to be served they should be allowed to reach room temperature before presenting to the guest. The main meals were poor for a 4star establishment. The public areas were looking tired and in need of updating.

We want to return ASAP

The food for dinner in the evening was so good, we couldn’t, believe it. The staff were amazing, not one but all of them. The hotel is a palace in itself. I couldn’t fault anything. Can’t wait to get back there. Hopefully next time the spa will be available, COVID allowing.

There was nothing in this hotel that we didn’t,t like. If we had to be ultra fussy we would have liked a proper shower as my wife found it difficult to climb in the bath. But we coped.

A nice mansion in the middle of the town

The room was spacious and the bathroom too. The bed was excellent. But the charm of the property is the old mansion and the staff. (especially Anna).

The breakfast was good, but as the waiter did not spook English it was not always easy to obtain the right stuff.
