Muy recomendable si piensas alojarte en Furnas

Excepcional entorno, frente all lago de Furnas. Nos alojamos en la casa de 2 habitaciones, amplia, funcional y con limpieza diaria. Personal muy atento y amable.

Cenamos una noche en el restaurante , muy bien servida por camareros muy profesionales, pero nos pareció excesivamente caro.

Bijzondere plek. Super stil en rustig. Mooie natuur en tuin. Prettige bungalow met balkon. Lekker zwembad!

Het ontbijt is met veel liefde en smaak gemaakt maar er is alleen witbrood, geen andere soort. De easy listening/jazz muziek die vaak op staat is heel verschrikkelijk en mocht zacht maar helaas niet uit.

A bit underwhelming tbh

Lovely setting with lush green forest, beautifully kept grounds, comfortable beds, super tasty breakfast.

The studio we rented for our children had an overwhelming mildew smell, which detracted considerably from the relaxing experience. Also, it felt as if the interior of the Japanese villa we also rented had received less attention than you would expect for this price. The dining table literally collapsed and the plastic fridge was visible in the kitchen.

Peaceful and gorgeous time in nature

An absolutely gorgeous place in an absolutely gorgeous environment. I wish we could have stayed more than one night to enjoy it! You’re right by the lake, rather than in Furnas town, and the staff helped us arrange a taxi into town for dinner/drinks. Peaceful and stunning.

Not walkable if you want to be in Furnas town.

we were in the little house at the back which doesn’t have the same standing as the other room. living room and kitchen felt very cold, no view

Peaceful and modern stay right by Furnas Lake

Location is amazing. But farther from Furnas but perfectly in nature. Very peaceful clean and modern. Would definitely visit again

Enjoyed Furnas Lake Forest Living-outstanding staff!

Furnas Team was outstanding-friendly, helpful, flexible and made our stay enjoyable. Breakfast and dinner were the best we had on Sao Miguel. Location convenient to Lake Furnas wh is enjoyable to bike or walk around.

Most likely due to time of our stay, rooms were very damp and musty. Paid for laundry service and clothes returned damp/wet.

This is a very nice place! The location is exceptional! In the forest and near the Furnas lake! The staff was really friendly and helpful during our stay. The house was nice and clean, and the breakfast is good. And, don't forget the pool! ;-) We had a very good time here!

Superb

Environment, location. The site is totally integrated in the sorrounding nature. The staff is very friendly, the food is local and homemade. Very peaceful place, 10 minute car ride to Furnas village and walking distance to the lake

The bathroom was relatively small - the door was in the way. The only mirror available stayed fogged forever after you got a shower. A second mirror in the room would have been appreciated

This idyllic location offers a farm-to-table experience.

The property maintains a farm/garden on the premises that provide for the restaurant, which is phenomenal. Dinner is a must! The food is exquisite and the service from Diana and Miquel was exceptional. We loved wandering around to see the animals and herbs.

At this price point, breakfast should be included in our rate. This was the most expensive property of the six we visited during our ten-day stay, and all the other hotels provided a large breakfast buffet. The only other remote house that did not provide breakfast was 1/2 the price.

Beautiful Scandi-style holiday home, set in the trees and delicious breakfast.

Brilliant breakfast - best we had on the island - and great coffee. Outstanding three course dinner served in lovely dining room looking out on the garden with the flames glowing from firepit outside. Just a a few steps from Furnas Lake, set in lovely grounds with a garden, orchard, and open space. Friendly staff and even an swimming pool.

Very unique stay in wonderful nature surrounding

Nice space, beautiful surroundings. Felt very clean. Big windows and balcony. Tastefully designed space. Well-equipped kitchen. Owners and staff really care and speak perfect English. I love the little touch of the fresh flowers from the garden each day. I much appreciated special towels for use in Furnas. There was a problem with no water and wifi but the owner took care of it.

Very designer space with some design over function perks. It took a while to train and stop injuring a hand while opening the main door. Had a view over some garden shed. Small detail but was changing the vibe for me when looking out the window. During the pandemic, the restaurant was closed. Expensive breakfast and not adjusted well to receiving it in the room. Most of it arrived cold. It's a shame because someone cared a lot to prepare it + it was extremely heavy for a lady to carry to our room. I think it would be better to get some ingredients and be able to cook it ourselves in our kitchen.

A cabin in the woods!

Perfect for a relaxing stay at Furnas: close to the Furnas lake park, 5 min (by car) to the centre of Furnas town and the hot springs. The property has everything that you need to cook/warm up your and enjoy your meals while in the middle of green scenery.

Relaxing and tranquil stay

Highly recommend Furnas Lake Forest Living for those into minimalist decor and looking for a relaxing getaway. The studio apartment we had was thoughtfully designed and very comfortable. We enjoyed the comfy robes and kitchen for our honeymoon. it was just perfect to relax. The pods are in a beautiful part of Furnas with nature all around. The hosts were super friendly and welcoming and provided an at home feel. Staying here was truly a relaxing experience and we’d come back in the future!

Exceptional

The hospitality was beyond expectations. When there was an water and power outage on the island, we were provided candles and thermoses with hot water and coffee. We also borrowed rubber boots for the rainy weather. I liked that there was a cloths dryer. The house is extremely pretty and it's surroundings are beautiful too.

Excellent location, excellent staff

The breakfast was excellent and the staff were second to none in always trying to help, guide, talk, etc.

The wheather was not good at all, but no fault of Forest Lake. We definitely want to come back and spend time with them in the summer season

Best place to stay in Furnas

Everything... The place, the garden (forest) the hosts, even the dog :) 2min walk to the lake. 8 mins drive to the hotsprings and terra nostra park.

Superb

This is a designed hotel, the surrounding is stunning in nature. Many activities possible on the location (zip line, biking, kayak…). Nice breakfast.

It’s not located in Furnass, which is the purpose of traveling there in the first place. However, it serves the purpose of being in the nature, calm and quiet.

Peaceful

Great location, good breakfast though expensive for Azores. Stylish design of the cabins and grounds. Enjoyed the grounds and Wallis the dog!

Shower could be improved with a rainfall head. Would be helpful to leave some milk, bread, and jam, for guests. We were only given two pods of coffee each day.
