Location good in a quiet street. Parking not always available right outside, but not a great problem
Some of the decor could do with a make-over
For the money, understandable there was no cooker, but perhaps a higher level microwave or air-fryer could be considered

Small, compact and had everything you could need.
It was not 100% clear that the apartment would be unlocked and to make our way to it, rather than ring the owners doorbell and ‘check in’
When we realised we got to the apartment and were pleasantly surprised about the size and amenities.

Private access, comprehensive instructions on arrival. Clean, tidy and had everything we needed for our stay. Easy to get to and a lovely part of Bridport.

I like that we had our own entrance and there was a little sitting room/kitchenette before the bedroom.
One of the extra blankets that we got out one night when we were cold, smelled like vomit. Wasn’t very nice at all!
7.0
there was no cooker to cook a breakfast so had to eat out.
some where to sit in comfort as the chairs where very hard to sit on also it was a long walk to the car because the parking was very bad we are old people and the paving was not very even.

it’s nice and private and close to the centre of town
parking isn’t great

If you advertise that the place has got a kitchen, then provide an actual kitchen where people can actually cook
Not a sink and a fridge, thats not kitchen
Could put the heating on more as was freezing cold, the blankets dont cut it
Not a pleasent stay at all
Definitely not worth the money, im sorry

We love staying here. The location is excellent, being very quiet and peaceful yet only a short walk from town. Phil is extremely friendly and helpful. Flo, his gorgeous dog, is an added bonus.

Parking could be a problem

This place was well equipped with necessary facilities and the location is great as it's a 10 minute walk to town centre. There's also a very lovely and friendly dog by the shed to keep you company.
Floors could be cleaned up a little better.

Convenient to town. Nice touch with coffee/ tea and fresh milk. Bed was comfortable. Overall very clean and tidy.
Wet room instead of shower.
The worst thing that hit us as soon as we opened the door was gagging smell of wet dog which was very unpleasant. No window in bedroom. Needed to buy air freshener to mask the awful smell. The towels and bed linen smelt of dog.

Ideal location
Very comfy bed in large, airy room
Free view TV spot on
Kitchen / Dining area very well equipped
Never got chance to meet the owners face to face but the dog was particularly friendly with a beaming smile and waggly tail
Parking was a nightmare,
couldn't get a space anywhere near the property so ended up parking about quarter of a mile away at end of street near the co-op
Everything else was spot on

Location was central could walk to the shops and restaurants within 5 mins, Bus service to Weymouth great day out , this flat was more than we expected microwave, bed, bedding, toaster and kettle all appeared to be brand new, met the owner very friendly. washing up sink was very good .
4.0
The location was good, as we expected. The bedroom was comfortable and there were adequate tea/coffee making facilities and milk in the fridge.
The shower room was inadequate. An extractor fan is a MUST. The room was constantly wet with condensation. It also felt dirty. The central heating doesn't come on before 2.00pm so using the shower room in the morning added to a poor experience.

Well located a short walk from the centre of the town. Plenty of facilities.
It would have been useful to know that the heating was going to stay on all night - we turned off the radiator when we realised. Although the TV services are controlled by remote that links to the internet access device, it didn't include a volume control so there was some inconvenience having to use the buttons on the side of the TV. I think a universal remote could be set up to control the TV more fully. We thought that a wet room wasn't the best option for a bathroom of that size as it necessitated having to mop the floor after showering.

Own private entrance. Keys exactly where described. Coffee and tea provided as well as fresh milk in the fridge.

The water in the wet room took along time to drain away

We very much enjoyed our weekend here. The Garden Suite was warm and comfortable and, although the layout is a little quirky, it had everything necessary and we liked being somewhere 'different'. The owner was friendly and helpful and we loved Flo (the dog). We appreciated the extras .We have already booked for a break next summer.
There was nothing that we didn't like
5.0
Effort was obviously put in to setting up the suite internally and the coffee, milk, water and biscuits were better than some hotels. Cleaning had been carried to a good standard, though there was room for improvement. The kitchen facilities were adequate for a short stay with microwave, kettle, cafetiere for the Guatemalan coffee and sink with washing up equipment.
There was a bad musty damp smell from the rising damp next to the front door. My wife suffered some coughing as a result. The 'garden' part of 'garden suite' is misleading as the garden is poorly kept and the table and 2 chairs are virtually unusable. A coat of varnish several years ago would have helped a lot.

The location is fantastic situated in the heart of Bridport.

Pleasant decor and furniture. Good location
Fine for an overnight stay but needs a fully equipped kitchen for a longer stay., Sound proofing could have been better. Headroom limited in wet room. No extract fan in wet room so mirror mists up. Uneven paving is a trip hazard. Parking ok for us but could be a problem
5.0
It was ok for a couple of nights, given the reasonable price. The shower wasn't as bad as expected - was high enough for a 6 footer, and the water runs towards that corner so the floor doesn't get too wet. The bed was comfortable and there was a (small) tv in the bedroom. There is a table and chairs, sink with draining board, kettle and microwave in the other room, which has a door to the garden.
We went to see Chesil Beach then spent a lovely day at West Beach (saw a lady walking up 'the hill' in flip-flops, carrying a small child, so it is possible, but I suggest sensible shoes!)
The ceiling in the bathroom is very low by the sink (6 footer had to stoop), and the condensation gives the whole place a slightly damp smell. The bedroom doesn't have a window.
