Perched high on a hill overlooking vineyards between Chigny-Les-Roses and Reims. The service was excellent, the grounds were beautiful and team working here were wonderful. We stayed in the tree house for what was a truly unique experience. Our breakfast was delivered to us in a wicker basket which we hoisted up on a pulley in the morning. The room was so comfortable and very peaceful looking up at the stars at night and listening to the sound of the birds in the morning.
This is fully equipped with a separate bathroom with hot and cold running water and a shower. We ate dinner in the main building for which the experience was equivalent to many a Michelin star restaurant we have visited. The swimming pool was also very nice and the water deep enough that your feet don’t touch the bottom.
Check out the history of this place! It felt a privilege to have stayed somewhere many people in history would have stayed and to have enjoyed the luxury of it all.
We enjoyed everything about this property and the people running it.

My husband and I stayed here prior to our wedding, on the way down to the South of France.
Although pricier than other other accommodation nearby, I would say it was worth it.
We had no details of breakfast on our booking confirmation, so when this was provided for free in the morning it was a pleasant surprise.
The perfect place for relaxing in quiet surroundings.
We stayed here on a Tuesday, which meant the chef wasn't working in the evening.
Difficult to find food in the area without going into the centre of Reims

Great breakfast & fantastic tasting menu. Great room.
The room got a bit hot with the high temperatures.

Cecile was a breath of fresh air and made this stay feel like a home away from home. Exceptional views, service and food!
Couldn't fault it!

The guesthouse (although it feels much more like a hotel!) is beautiful inside and out. Our two bedroom suite in the attic was spacious and stylishly appointed. The bathroom was lush, and we had the huge indoor heated pool to ourselves for most of the time. Dinner was an absolute highlight - recommend the champagne flight! - and service from Cecile, Thomas and the team was superb.
Nothing - everything was fabulous!

Impressive gate and gardens. I booked the Amazone suite 2 nights for my fiancé and I which was beyond our expectation.
Very comfortable and big. Beautiful views all around the property.
For breakfast we had everything we needed. We had dinner one night at La table d'Hôtes. The food was delicious.
The host was really friendly and very natural. She made us feel at home.
Until the time we had to check-out everything was perfect. The night before to our surprise we noticed the cleaning lady came into the room without any notice from the hotel - no sign either. We had left some intimate stuff laying around the room including an envelope with a lot of cash in it which was not meant to be used on the trip. It was left visible on top of commode. While packing that morning i realized that something did not look right in the way my things were positioned. My first reaction was to count the money, once, twice to finally realize that 400 EUR were missing (50 EUR bills). Almost 1/3 of what was inside. Astonished i went down immediately looking for the staff to explain the situation.
The manager/chef brought in the host and the cleaning lady who claimed she was in the room briefly to do the bed, change the towels and stressed she did not walk on that side of the room. Although the curtains of all windows were wide opened when we came back the night before exactly where the commode with the envelope was.
The manager/chef apologized and insisted on the fact that he trust his cleaning lady 100% and nothing like this ever happened before. I can believe that but it only takes one time!!
I did not demand and certainly did not expect them to give me my money back as this was my word against hers.
Having given it some thought later that day I decided to stop by the police to file a complaint because it did not feel right to let this go that easily. I ended up doing it online as advised by the national police of Epernay.
No matter where I stay hotel, guest house, airbnb no one should enter my room without my consent!!

We spent with my wife 4 days in the Domaine du Chalet, in the Amazon suite. Our experience is wonderful. Landlady Cecile is very kind and careful, serving tasty french breakfasts. Landlord Damien is a chef and his menu paired with Champagne is a must. All in all, this is place is remarkable.

Our stay at Domaine du Chalet was a most incredible experience and one we shall remember. Having driven over 700km that day on our way back from a ski holiday, Domaine du Chalet was all the the rejuvenation we could have hoped for, with a lot of magic thrown in. Our hostess, Cécile, was simply the most friendly and welcoming person we could ever hope to meet and instantly made us feel relaxed after our long journey. We arrived shortly before supper time and were very lucky that we were able to be looked after by the most imaginative and talented chef Damien and our waiter. Course after course of utterly delicious and exotic dishes appeared, delicately explained by Damien and he even set us a little fun challenge of guess the ingredients. The domaine, its grounds and our suite were all perfect examples of beauty and elegance. I travelled with my husband and our children and we were all equally bowled over by the experience (and we always seek out high quality). Our only regret is that we had no room in the car (which was stuffed with ski gear) to take home any bottles of their utterly delicious house champagne and that we were not able to stay longer. We look forward to returning and have given the highest recommendations to our friends and family to visit Domaine du Chalet - indeed, my parents in law are now intendeding on staying as they pass through the region in the summer. A huge thank you to Cecile and Damien for being such fabulous hosts! Our warmest wishes to you both.
It was all perfect!

Pool is freezing and so deep that it’s not safe for children which we did not know before we booked the guesthouse

Great location. We walked to Maison Gardet for a tasting. We cycled up the road into the forest for a lovely ride to Hautvilliers mostly on off road tracks. A short drive to Reims or Epernay if needed tho we preferred the villages egTasting at Mailly 6 mins away. The pool and sauna were fantastic as were the grounds but best of all.. Cecile and Damien were so friendly and welcoming. Lovely breakfast and dining in was a fabulous gastronomic treat of Michelin star quality all matched by Palmer champagne. We will be back!

Stayed on a Friday night at last minute. Amazing family room at the top. Cecile was a delight, the kids loved it and picked up some great champagne. Did as a stopover and ended up a holiday highlight. Delightful.

The hotel was fabulous. Grand electric gates and situated on top of the village with a great view. Our room was very spacious and had lovely finishing touches. Breakfast was very good. Best scrambled eggs I've ever had! We got engaged and we were given designed glasses courtesy of Palmer & Co Champagne which was a lovely finishing touch to our holiday. Cecile is the best host you could possibly ask for. So enthusiastic, fun as well as professional. We really enjoyed our stay!
There were no restaurants in the village apart from a takeaway place 5 mins drive away. Which meant you had to drive to Reims or Epernay which are 20-30 mins drive away. A taxi would cost you 40 euro one way. There is a chef on site which does make up for this and I'm sure the food would have been devine, however as it was a surprise menu my partner and I felt we would prefer to see a menu and choose our dinner
