Auberge de jeunesse idéalement située et très agréable

Auberge très bien située entre Édimbourg et Inverness lors de notre roadtrip en Ecosse. Le personnel est très gentil, les chambres sont propres et le nécessaire est fourni (linge de lit et serviettes de toilettes). Les espaces communs (2 salons) sont très mignons et la cuisine grande avec des boissons chaudes à disposition. L'établissement est très Pet Friendly ce que nous avons apprécié avec notre chien (néanmoins nous n'avons pas pu profiter du petit dejeuner car notre chien n'était pas admis à cet endroit).

Aménager un endroit pour profiter du petit déjeuner en étant avec son chien.

Une auberge de charme pour un séjour sympa

J'ai apprécié l'accueil et la gentillesse du personnel. L'auberge est située dans un bel environnement. Dortoirs confortables. Très grande cuisine parfaitement équipée et salle commune qui permet la convivialité. Deux mignons salons. Ambiance "montagne". Bon rapport qualité/prix. Je recommande bien volontiers.

Très bonne adresse dans une petite ville charmante et animée

Très bien situé sur une colline qui surplombe la ville, à 10' à pied de la rue principale. Espaces communs et chambre spacieux, confortables, agréables, propres. Personnel chaleureux.

Exeptional staff, good value if you are passing by

Amazing staff ! I forgot my wallet at the reception (realizing it only after a few hours thinking I lost it somewhere), the nicest lady Eather brought it to my room leaving a note for me! She saved my trip since it was our first night and I had all the payment for the next hotels on a card in that wallet. + Very close to city center Parking (better with smaller cars)

A little dated bathroom Moquette in the rooms but it’s pretty usual in the UK If you are a light sleeper bring ear plugs!

Friendly, good facilities

Friendly and helpful staff. Counts for a lot. Was friendly to all arriving guests.

Doors that slam. Youth hostels never seem to get this right. There should be a weekly check. Windows in room 3 hard to open and keep open.

Excellent.

Great position clean and efficient. Just what we needed as bike packers with bike storage.

Sharing a room with 3 other men who went to bed slightly earlier and didn’t get up at 7am made our stay a little more difficult. However it is what we had booked and was one of our cheapest nights of the trip.

Good but not great.

Beautiful location, good breakfast, friendly, helpful staff.

Compared to the Scottish Youth Hostel in Oban the common areas were disappointingly shabby, also my husband's bed was very squeaky (!) as were the floor boards.

It was a good place, simple, comfortable.

That I could enter the room before the check in which is too late.

Going up hills to the hostel, specially with luggage and then the stairs in the hostel, is not a delight!

staff were friendly. beds were comfortable

the bathroom wasn’t great. It smelled of dampness, there was mould on the ceiling and on the shower. The hot water tap didn’t work and the hot water was to warm to use on its own

Everything, amazing location with views, lovely hostel.

There was some weird chemical like smell in our room I think it was potentially the carpets, not sure but we've kept the window open and that helped. The smell stayed on our clothes however so we had to wash them all after returning home.

an unexpected lovely hostal which met all my expectations.

it is located on the hill and has a beautiful view. the room was spotless. each bunk had 2 sockets which is great so everyone could recharge their phone. We also were given a bath towel and had 2 good quality pillows which was great. The bathroom was an en-suite and was clean. We also had 2 bedside tables and a little table with a chair in front of the window which served as a desk. The kitchen were spacious and had 2 big fridges. The dining room had a beautiful view, and there were 2 different sitting rooms. Outside were 2 picnic tables and a bench. It was quiet away from the main road and only 10mns walk to the town centre. I would happily return in this hostal.

Good value hostel

Good value for money, great view of town but still walkable to shops and restaurants. Free tea and coffee facilities and kitchen use. comfortable common rooms.

Bed could be more comfortable. Shower cleaning needs more attention to detail.

Good place for a night-stop

The location was really good and the facilities (room, private bathroom, shared kitchen) were very clean.

Friendly, clean, comfortable, dog friendly place to stay for 1 or 2 nights.

Pet friendly. Staff were approachable and helpful. We had a private en-suite room which met our needs. Clean and comfortable with a great view from the window. Good self-catering facilities. We very much enjoyed our first visit to Pitlochry. It's a nice town with lots of eateries, a supermarket (great for self-catering), and there's walks from the doorstep. Mountain walks a short drive away too. We would definitely recommend.

The continental breakfast was poor value for money. We would take our own next time.
