Room and position
Not really really clean

Affordable, friendly manager, conveniently located on the road leading up to the railway station. Clean and tidy enough. Room was light and spacious.
There weren't many toilet cubicles in the bathroom area - you usually had to wait a while before you could go in to the toilet or shower, even when the hostel wasn't that busy.

We were given a newly renovated top floor en-suite room that was delightful, clean and comfortable. Staff treated us well with good recommendations for spots to eat in town.

Close to the bus stop for The 101 & 100X buses, very nice.
Drogheda has many churches to visit and are open on sundays.
Nice and calm hostel in a very calm and nice city.

The rooms were clean, staff was vacuuming every day, bathrooms were exceptionally clean and in very good shape. The place has a very friendly and cozy aesthetic and the staff adds to that by being friendly as well.
I slept in a bed near the window that faces the main street. It was a bit difficult to sleep in off-sleep hours (after 8am) because of outside noise from the cars. Also the beds are with springs and therefore a bit noisy.

it took an hour to gain entry- no staff, a resident allowed us entry and phoned the ‘landlord’ and he was dismissive- NO breakfast. Bed was a bunk bed and only a top bunk available. when I got on it the whole bed rocked and was a bit scary

The breakfast was good.
The building works going on and not many toilets for many people.

I was disturbed on the two of nights by other Guests. They put on the lights on. The Guests were not told the light out time. The Manager didn't believe me when I complained about it.7
