Good value for money. Owners emailed beforehand with all the info I needed. When I arrived I called the owner to double check my room number. He was friendly enough but I liked that I was left to my own devices. Bed was comfy. Had everything I needed.
Can hear everyone walking in their rooms as the floorboards are so creaky. Walls very thin. Also woken quite early by creaky floorboards.

Quiet. Easy assesable. Parking. Views fab.
Close to shops.

very central
no one there on arrival

Place was clean and well priced.
Uses a self check in system which l found bizarre and confusing and so did 2 Americans. If this system is to be used a note somewhere on entry is recommended. As a foreigner l found my arrival disappointing.

Nothing
Martan didn't allow us to stay. He overbooked our rooms so he accommodated us in a lower scaled B&B> I booked in May for our stay in September. I believe he didn't allow us to stay because of my service dog which I need for my spinal cord injury.

There was a plentiful supply of fruit, cakes, breads and a very nice cold plate of ham, salmon, cheese, tomato and hard boiled egg with a plentiful supply of tea or coffee. the premises was spotlessly clean and I could not fault anything, I would have no hesitation in recommending it to anyone.
Nothing. See above.

The continental breakfast buffet was on a different level. So well thought out with so much choice and variety, including importantly a number of healthy options. Barney was so kind when he automatically brought out a plate of ham for our dog at breakfast. It is rare to meet nice people such as this.
Nothing really negative but elderly people may struggle with being on the higher floor, but I'm pretty sure that Barney would have that in hand prior to people's arrival anyway! Honestly, he's a credit to the hospitality sector.

The house is perfectly situated with a seaside and a nice restaurant across the road.
Nothing, everything was good.

Everything. Stayed here back in July and would definitely rebook in the future. The location was beautiful and great for eating out and going to the pub for a proper irish evening out. The breakfast was faultless and the lady running it was really lovely, friendly very helpful. Can strongly recommend staying here.
Absolutely nothing 😁

Plenty of choice for breakfast and great pub across the road for meals etc We we’re met by Sue who was very helpful during our stay with some great knowledge of the area and places to visit along our route downy to Killarney.

Photos and description dont do this place justice. Probably the nicest b&b we stayed in for our whole coastal road trip. Clean and smart room. Super comfy bed. Felt very comfortable and smart. Really great place with super friendly manager. Couldn't recommend enough. Lots of nice little touches and she went out of her way to be accommodating. Just great. Walking distance to great restaurant and parking right outside.
A tiny comment...Sadly our bathroom door wouldn't close properly, the latch didn't click and therefore when the windows were open the door banged open and shut, we had to prop pillows up to keep it closed. This is a very easy fix. Otherwise our room was divine and the manageress was so kind and welcoming
4.3
Pleasant enough room and excellent continental breakfast and Sue in particular very pleasant and welcoming.
Bathroom was a nightmare. Nowhere to put anything at all and shower pretty poor. The only place to put your showergel or shampoo was on the floor and with no hand rail that can be hazardous. Small things but so irritating showing a complete lack of thought. In the bedroom there was no socket anywhere near a mirror which is just basic common sense.
Parking was a pain.

Location
I was told to get my bags out of the room for cleaning, it was only 10 o'clock and we were still having breakfast. Check out was at 11am. We were then reminded again about the cleaners coming in. The lady host was a bit overbearing. Breakfast was basic.

Sue is the heart of the B&B. Preparing an excellent breakfast; cares so much about the guests and gives her support in any situation! Sue makes this B&B like a warm home. THANKS Sue for your big heart ! Breakfast room and lounge are great. The B&B is placed very well at the harbour; restaurants are right beside.
The house is very noisy and things need to be done. Shower is quite poor and no possibility to hang Up the towls in the bathroom. Carbet is really old and used; time to invest in a new one.
4.3
Limited options but what was available was adequate
4.3
Very pet friendly, Sue was a great host. Continental breakfast was plentiful. Walls a little bit on the thin side. Overall great location for an overnight stop.
The beds, floorboards and walls, could hear people next door.
