Very quaint accommodation option near Assisi, pool aas very cool during hot summer stay which was amazing, breakfast options were lovely with all the staff being very accommodating
Not many sun loungers available by the pool, although the location is super stunning the drive into the property is quite difficult, especially during night time

Everyone greets us with a smile.
Great swimming pool, attractive surroundings.
It was a good choice to feel the farmhouse in Italy.

Malvarina was the perfect mix for us, family trip of 3 generations. We stayed for 8 days. Both grandparents and children (2 years old) enjoyed our stay. A perfect setting for daytrips in Umbria region.
Countryside, great food, very friendly staff.
Great with a pool for a quick cooldown.
We lovede the cooking class with Liliana and Co.

I loved the farm/property, it was absolutely gorgeous. The sunsets were incredible and it was very peaceful and quiet. The young lady who worked at reception was incredibly friendly, helpful, and accommodating. The on-site restaurant was also amazing, using the produce from their farm, and very affordable.
Honestly, I was traveling alone, without a car and was looking forward to the farms on site activities- such as cooking classes, produce harvesting and horseback riding to keep me busy. I am very disappointed to say that none of the activities were available/offered once I had arrived. Secondly, the owner of the farm (this older and larger man) had offered to take me to the train station on my last day (since they offer shuttle service on their website) and on the car ride I had chosen to sit in the front seat since my luggage was in the back. During the car ride, he had put his hand on my leg, and was being inappropriately touchy-feely, and kept pulling my head and face towards his. I was extremely uncomfortable and hesitantly pulled away, but felt very vulnerable because I was in his car and he’s a big guy. When we had arrived at the train station, he had tried to kiss me multiple times and was trying to hug me and would not let go. I pushed him off, he got my suitcases out of the car and I quickly ran into the train station. I was very upset and traumatized and the only reason I am saying this is so that other girls or women who are planning to stay here solo should be aware.

I can’t praise Malvarina enough. Lovely secluded location on a hill outside Assisi. Wonderfully relaxing farm, run by a friendly and helpful family. Room was great with a fantastic view over the valley and sunsets. The food was fantastic - delicious set menu for dinner which changed each day. Home cooking at its absolute best! Wish I could have stayed longer.

Family owned and operated, the staff all - around were fabulous! I could not believe the value for the price, and the food was incredible, with breakfast included and a five-course dinner at an incredibly reasonable price for 2! Local wines were fantastic, and a better buy than anywhere I have seen. We just loved Malvarina!

The terrace, the food (OMG…), the bed (slept like a baby), and the kindness of staff. Last. It not least, unbeatable price for what you get. Highly recommend

The quiet location in a pristine nature yet not far from Assisi and Spello; the kindness of the staff; the great slow-food dining; the owner's sympathy and care. I did relax and felt at ease.

We liked the location near big mountain and ministry
The room not like in the picture.
