My family loved that there was so much to do at the Arenal springs resort. The breakfast was one of the best we have ever had! The yoga was amazing as well as spacious gym with a fun game area And the pool and hot springs just spectacular! What we enjoyed the most though was the staff! They were so attentive, friendly and really made our family feel at home. We will definitely come back!

Hot springs pools were wonderful and revitalizing. The rooms were nice, we felt comfortable and safe. The property was beautiful! The grounds meticulous and such a variety of tropical plants and trees. We loved the size of the resort, it almost felt intimate. The views of the Arenal Volcano were breath taking. Breakfast was amazing, the Italian restaurant had the most amazing seafood risotto. The staff went out of there way to accommodate us. Our son was getting married. They had a banner on their door, swan towels with rose petals champagne and chocolate covered strawberries!
The music in the springs pool was loud and not very relaxing. We had to move away from the bar area to hear each other. More serene music would have been nice. The room, while well appointed and comfortable enough, could use an update. The mattresses were on the firm side and dipped a bit, the decor very dated, bathroom was in definite need of updates.

We truly enjoyed our stay here! We came for our honeymoon and arrived to a room decorated and wine. The hot springs were wonderful and we enjoyed the bar and food services. We did two tours through the hotel and they were both perfect. I’d definitely stay here again!

Arenal springs is a beautiful property, overlooking the volcano. Very friendly and professional staff. Exceptional breakfast with lot of options including make your omelet and sandwiches, fresh fruit juices. Would definitely go back if ever came back to Costa Rica. Really enjoyed the coffee from their on site coffee shop. The hotel staff also helped to coordinate and arrange for all the tours we took took while in la Fortuna.

Beautiful- loved the pools/springs, relatively compact given the size. Yoga was wonderful. The staff was friendly and helpful.
The room was a little tight. We are a family of five- they gave us a great pull out bed but there was no where to put anything. No dressers/ drawers, etc.
4.5
a superb complex of residences with outstanding hot spring facilities some 15 mins out of of La Fortuna. feeling exclusive with options to dine and all the facilities (gym, gift shop, yoga etc) one might expect from a stylish resort style setting. immaculate with excellent breakfast
there are some exceptionally situated residences and some that might feel a little less well positioned.

Loved the location, had a brilliant view of Arenal from our stay. I have been to Arenal 4 times before and this is by far the best views I have seen. The staff was very courteous, and always ready to go beyond to help you. Very comfortable room, had 2 sound nights of sleep. Overall for just the stay, facilities, ambience I will rate it 10/10.
The only tiniest thing we did not enjoy was limited dinner options in the restaurant for someone that doesnt eat red meat (I went with my parents who do not eat beef or pork) and also that it was very pricey. That's the only reason I gave it a rating of 9, otherwise the stay was a total 10 on 10.

Awesome pool/thermal area. Rooms also nicely decorated.
In October definitely very luxorious for a reasonable price

The views of the Arenal volcano from our room were amazing! The room was very comfortable with huge windows to soak in the views. Bathroom and shower were very fancy. Everything was very clean. Staff were all incredibly friendly and very attentive. Swim up bars, the food (especially the sushi) and the hot springs were all great! So cool that the pools were heated with the hot springs water. The free buffet breakfast was a bonus and very, very nice.
Very little to dislike, the place is amazing. The drinks and some of the food were a bit pricey, but not the end of the world.

comfortable condos and nice hot spring pools with cocktail bar
great morning yoga session outdoors
yoga was almost fully booked when we arrived so not all family members could join.

The location is amazing with a gorgeous view of the Arenal volcano and just a 10 minute drive from La fortuna. The hot springs are lovely. The staff is very nice
There were lots of bugs in the room which is probably to be expected on a trip to costa rica during rainy season. They charged us $64 per night for my second child. They were the only hotel on our trip to do this. The room is for 4 people so I thought the charge was excessive since we were 2 adults and 2 kids.

location is lovely
staff.- We had emailed, and texted about booking the master suite (since we had previously stayed here) and reconfirmed day of arrival. Arrived and did not get the correct room. At check in because I was irritated about the mess up staff was rude and condescending. The difference between the junior and the master is like motel 6 vs Marriott so we were disappointed and they couldn’t remedy it claiming they were sold out. Master suite is lovely beds are great and room has plenty of space . The junior suite is cramped, beds hard as rocks, pillows hard also, no desk or even room for your belongings etc.

very little space to hang out if it rains unless you got to swim up bar in the pool. confined to bedroom when we just wanted to hang out away from rain and play cards as a family.
5.0
quiet, beautifully landscaped, friendly staff
small grounds.
4.5
Very nice place to stay, staff were helpful and attentive; breakfast was mostly good; we enjoyed the hot springs
Food in the two dining rooms was mediocre at best. In fact the bar restaurants are better than the Italian and the Costa Rican restaurants. Although it is a very nice resort the presence of children kind of lowers the quality especially when you see them in the pools with diapers on.
