The breakfast every morning was delicious!! The staff were kind and very helpful! The grounds are beautiful!
The television in our room was changing color back and forth and it was really loud and we couldn’t turn it down. Also the Wi-Fi was really slow in our room.

Staff is very nice. Breakfast is really fresh and is included. Dinner is also delicious, better than several restaurants we've been to. They really care about food quality. Pools are nicely designed, great for kids. Rooms feel quiet and private.

It was my son's birthday when we stayed. I contacted them beforehand and the hotel made arrangements with a local bakery to make a birthday cake. He loved having the fuss of a balloon, card & a personalised cake being delivered to his table for his birthday meal! It made his day!
We loved our stay. The location is peaceful. Tours pick up from the location easily. We didn't have a car but with taxi's and tour company pick ups it wasn't a problem.
We had a couple of leaks in our room due to very bad weather. The hotel dealt with the issue quickly and apologetically. So it didn't really cause an issue for us.

Good rooms with volcano views, if it is not cloudy. Each room is a tiny house with two big beds, small kitchen and bathroom.
The breakfast is very good with options to create your own gallo pinto to start the day.
Pizzas are very good for dinner, because they are big and very well done in the wood oven.
The staff is very kind and give you a lot of information about activities, places and tours to do in the volcan area.

The view was awesome! You can see the Arenal very well and close. Resort ground was beautiful. We saw several different wild animals here, including a sloth on the treetops!
Bathroom drainage needs to be fixed

The grounds and villas were amazing. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The views of the volcano from our room were fantastic, we were lucky enough for a full view of the volcano on two of the days.

The staff were very helpful! They helped us arrange any tour we wanted and also recommended very good ones. They were super responsive and very sweet.
Our room was nice and had a lovely view of the volcano. We had chairs sitting out on the porch where we enjoyed relaxing.
The breakfast was delicious!!
The grounds were also lovely! Beautiful flowers everywhere!
It would have been nice if there was a little sitting area in the room, some chairs and a small table. Of course there were some ants in the room, but that’s the jungle!

clean and spacious rooms with a basic outside area, quiet but near the heart of the arsenal tourist circus. good pizza. economical.
it feels a bit tired and in need of some investment. atrocious, ill-configured wifi. breakfast without appeal. soggy pasta.

there was a resident sloth outside the hotel which was easily visible in the afternoons which was nice to see.
The hotel staff were rude and very unhelpful, the wifi connection was terrible. this hotel clearly hasn’t had any work done to it over the last ten years. attention to detail is lacking, I found the people in Costa Rica really friendly and polite, however, the staff at this hotel clearly hate their jobs or don’t like people. I also found it strange that at breakfast you weren’t allowed to serve yourself, I assume to save on waste, but it was frustrating having to keep asking for more as they would give you one small spoonful each time. the location isn’t great if you don’t have a car as it’s about 10 minutes from town and Ubers take a very long time.

I liked the traditional Costa Rican breakfast and the timing was good so you could have a hearty meal before starting your excursions.
We asked for cleaning service one day and they missed us

Roomy, comfortable bungalow. Clean & convenient. Great view at Volcano Arenal. Quiet location 7 mins by car from La Fortuna. Lots of wildlife and few short paths through the jungle you can enjoy in the morning.
Limited selection of meals for breakfast (no dedicated vegan/vegeterian options). Could be slightly less expensive (though the area is touristy).

It was just as advertised. No surprises. It was super clean. All the staff were kind and helpful. The delicious Costa Rican breakfast was only made more enjoyable by looking at Volcano Arenal while we ate. It was only a few minutes out of town and quiet! Loved everything.
