Das Frühstück war gut. Die Lage zentral.
Die steile Treppe am Eingang. Sehr gefährlich.

Location is wonderful! The staff, especially the student on training were excellent! Room is big and comfortable.
The price of the food I paid for was high for what we got. The breakfast on the 1st day was not bad. The 2nd day's breakfast had some sort of canned Tuna dish which none of us cared for.

Its facade is beautiful like I'm living in the past, rooms were comfy, they have parking slots inside the property as well, I love the staffs they're very accommodating, most esp, I love how the place is near the Calle Crisologo ❤️
Also, I like to add that they have a generator so the hotel will have electricity supply no matter what haha (cause we stayed here while there's a typhoon in the Philippines, bagyong Egay)
Basically loved everything about the property!

As you see it, is what you get. However. there are such rules that I dont agree on.
1. We understand the time of early check in and check out rules.
I got 4 rooms reservation one of those is a family room, we arrived at around 9:30am. I asked if we can check in early, and said yes with a fee of 1,300 for 1 room charged per hour. So i payed as we are exhausted. the 3 other rooms we can wait til later as we can go out to have lunch and tour ourselves.
at around 12:45H we went back and asked the reception if we can check in at this time. and says yes with a fee still.
so, i was thinking that this hotel will be courteous enough to let us in to our rooms this time. In my opinion, Punctuality must be observed but consideration in travel time can be used.
I just ask the lady in reception if shes going to let us wait until 2pm for check in? Do they do this all the time to their guests? I also understand in a sense if the room are not ready yet, but the other 3 rooms are located in ground floor same as the first room we took early that morning and cleearly saw it that rooms are ready. But its fine.
I guess im just looking for a consideration and courtesy which is clearly they dont have.
2. No choice for a set breakfast. - they asked me what drink and I asked for a choice of breakfast menu and was said it is a set menu. I dont eat most in the sst menu, but gave no choice. - I went to reception for check out and voiced out concern aboutvthe breakfast and the lady told me that we should have given options. - but for 9 of us in our group choice was not an option.

When we arrived, checking in was easy. They just asked for my ID and booking details. We just brought minimal bags and yet 2 housekeeping staff helped us settle into our room. Breakfast was a set meal good enough for us to be full: rice, vigan longganisa, fried boneless bangus, banana, coffee and water. We appreciated the mosquito lamp. A/C was cold, water pressure was strong. We stayed in the 1st floor because we had a senior citizen with us.
There was no security guard when we arrived even if it was 1pm, good thing parking was available. It would be better if there were directional signs on where the reception area is.

the historic ambiance.
stiff stairs, no elevators… difficult if you’re carrying your stuffs or baggages; there insects in room(flies, mosquitos); bathroom is not well maintained (scum in the shower doors)… no food choices on breakfast….

It’s a very comfortable place to stay and convenient for getting around Laoag. The people who run the place are extremely friendly and very helpful. Good place!
It’s a slightly boring street but near to all the things you are likely to want in Laoag.

I like the ambiance and preserved old Spanish-Filipino athmosphere.
Small breakfast portions. Noticed some termites near the windows which I hope you’ll take care of.

It is very conveniently located in the heart of Vigan's old street (Calle Crisologo, Plaza Burgos, and the Vigan Cathedral). The staff were very attentive and helpful.
