Very large surrounding yard. Great to play ball and frisbee outside. Nice firepit for roasting marshmellows.

Awesome stay, perfect if you have dogs! My family loved it as it was close to the mountains, water, cog railway amongst many other places. My only complaint would be that the bathroom sink did not properly drain and the toilet takes a long time to flush. Other than that we loved it and would stay again.

Honestly I feel somewhat deceived by the listing. The photos made the property look better than the reality. The toilet tank has a slight leak, the shower head is low flow and we found cobwebs on the upper side of the ceiling fan. Also mildew on the underside of the braided rug in the living room. Overall our stay was pleasant but we had to adjust our expectations. The cleaning and maintenance staff needs to spend some time on the property FYI

I had a good time with my family at this house, it was very clean free of dust, wifi works perfect but bring your own roku so you can enjoy your movies. Nice location close to everything but you still have lots of privacy to enjoy the woods.

The place was great; clean, cozy, comfortable and convenient location to things we were doing.
Just a couple of things to note as an FYI for the owners.
Toilet tank leaked occasionally, I put a bucket under it, to capture the water. The kitchen sink, spray hose would not shut off. Also, a critter, probably a red squid, was in the upper left bedroom cubby.
We had a great week and hope to return soon.
Thank you
Ken

Property central to all White Mountain locations. There is some areas that house needs some updates, however, for the price, this is a good option for someone who has pets and needs a place to stay a few days.

We stayed here for 3 nights and enjoyed our time. Place was clean, location was convenient since we wanted to explore white mountains. Only complaint is that the house is slightly outdated but it was well-stocked with all comforts. Strong wifi, all the utensils you’d need in the kitchen, and they even had some cool toys our kids got to play with. Would recommend this place for folks visiting the area with family.

One thing the GPS took us about 1/4 mile from the house. Not sure what is going on there. The place was good for us. 3 bedrooms worked out great for having grandkids.

The log cabin was everything we needed for our few days away. Loved that we could bring our three dogs. The only thing it was lacking was somewhere to sit outside. There was one Adirondack chair outback. Otherwise it was great!!

Great for our family of 4. Plenty of parking. Location was convenient to town, skiing and hiking. Cabin had a rustic, comfortable feel, wood stove was a nice touch. We had everything we needed. Checkin/checkout was easy-place was super clean.

We had an amazing time at this house. We came up for a weekend trip. We did the ice castles Friday night and spent the day Saturday in North Conway. The house was so warm and cozy with the wood stove going! We had three adults and two children and had loads of fun! Our golden retriever loved the trip also!

We enjoyed our stay at this cabin. The cabin was the perfect size for my husband, my daughter and our dog. The kitchen was convenient and had almost everything we needed to make meals, wash dishes and run the dishwasher - we also used the grill a few times which was great! There were AC's in all the bedroom and the living room which was perfect because it was so hot! The stairs were steep but that's how it goes for a small cabin so it was no big deal. The cabin sits off the main road (Rte 302) but honestly it was very quiet and didn't bother us at all. It is in a very convenient location to everything we wanted to do! The basement did smell damp but we didn't go down there - the family room area was big enough for us. We had a great time and really enjoyed our stay!
I'm giving it 4 stars because I did text someone at Vacasa, they responded right away and then told me they'd get back to me and never did.
And a few items that should be addressed are:
1. The filters in the AC need to be changed
2. Water was dripping from the toilet flapper (flusher) after we flushed the toilet - it wasn't a lot but I've never seen that before.

This place was not at all what it should have been. The first thing we saw when we walked up was unmowed lawn. Also there is a path to the trailer park next door which had a dog barking at night and a loud radio during the day. Then walking into the house the bottom step was broken (so it literally fell off when we walked on it...). Inside was OK (not horrific but definitely not super clean). Most of the windows didn't have screens so it was either be hot or have bugs....the AC units (only in the upstairs bedrooms) were not in so my husband got to install them himself (not what you'd expect to be doing on your vacation). The basement smelled moldy and the stairs were REALLY steep. All the toys were in the basement but I would NOT let my kids down there because 1) the stairs were dangerous and 2) the smell. Also there was 1 laundry detergent pod - not a big deal on it's own but we're paying for "the convenience of home". Vacasa said they'd bring more right over but never showed up. They said they'd mark the broken step as "urgent" but I highly doubt it. The sheets seemed clean but the beds overall were worn and uncomfortable. They said "sorry" a few times but offered us nothing, even when we let them know we were not staying our second night because we weren't happy with it. Overall this has been my worst VRBO experience and I wished I had researched "VACASA". Have learned my lesson and will make sure to never book through them again. VRBO please drop them as a host!!!

Mini vacation to the mountains!
Very cute and cozy place to stay, only thing missing was a few more outdoor chairs…who would have thought the weather would be so cooperative this time of year??! It was a great time and we didn’t want to leave…we will definitely return!

Wonderful log cabin near Bretton Woods
I don’t want everyone to know about this rental so that it remains open and available again so I can return! It was great. Cozy, warm, great location, clean. Only negative was poor/minimal plowing after a giant storm. Would caution guests on steep stairs with low railing if you are not sure footed-But they can stay in the 1st floor bedroom.

Just what we wanted!
The cabin was adorable! My husband and I took his daughter, her boyfriend and her son on a ski trip. The house was 10 minutes from Breton Woods, close to a grocery store and a couple restaurants. It was a a very clean, well maintained cabin that was just perfect for our stay. We would absolutely book this house again!

Winter Wonderland
We were traveling with two older dogs, so we researched many options for a trip north.
The cabin lived up to its description, supplying anything one would need to feel at home.
The stove kept the space warm and ambient throughout our stay.
Just five or ten minutes to Mt. Washington Resort, which was better to visit for a sleigh ride and some dinner than to stay at.
Thoroughly enjoyed our experiences! Thanks to the Vacasa team:)

Perfect base for Brenton
This was a great place to stay for skiing Bretton with a family!

Great home base for Bretton!
We had a great stay at the cabin. Check in/out couldn’t have been easier. The front porch/entryway was perfect for peeling off gear each day and plenty of room to spread out inside. Being only 10 min from Bretton made it super easy to run one kid home early if needed and then head back out later to pick another one up late! We’d love to come back again soon!

Nice getaway
The cabin was very clean and cozy. We enjoyed the our time there. Only problem was it is close to the road and a bit noisy at times. We thought it would be away from everything.

Great getaway for us & the pups!
The house was fantastic! Spotless, and set up with guests in mind. We were very happy with the condition of the home upon arrival. Made for a great get away for us and the pups. We would stay here again and would highly recommend it to anyone considering this home for their vacation.

Toddler and 3 dogs
Despite our son and two dogs adjusting to new sleeping arrangements, the place was great. Such a gorgeous area and sweet little town. I had things planned out of town and it was convenient to get there from this location. Everything was professionally cleaned. Even dog bowls and bags prepped for us. I’d say bring a flashlight if you have dogs to take out!

nice home
Great location with plenty of hiking trails close by. The home was a bit darker than pictures suggest even with the bright sun outside and curtains open. Needs a window ac for the common area. And mattress was very soft. Overall a relatively well maintained home made for a decent stay stay. Not good for older couples as stairs are steep, short steps, and low railings (I'm 5'6" and my arms barely reach)

The house was beautiful and perfect size for us. We enjoyed our stay. A few things I wasn’t too keen on, the stairs were really steep. The other is that the check in at 4 I wish was a little earlier and the checkout at 10 I wish was a tad later. Overall it was an excellent stay!
