Alles was perfect!

Clean and spacious double room, great value for the room rate. Location is just a 5 minute walk from the park entrance. Ralph is a great host and can boom tickets for the national park. Further, he organized luggage transfer to the airport for me to make sure I didn’t have to come back to Wulingyuan after taking a day trip by train from Zhangjiajie.

The owner speaks in english, he was very supportive and advised us how to plan our trip to the mountains, he provided us with the map and instructions. The room was clean and comfortable. The location is excellent. The owner helped us to order the taxi when we left the hostel. We really recommend this location!

Perfection location. It's just right next to the park entrance. You can buy Zhangjiajie Park tickets (valid for 4 days) and go in and out every day. The hostel owner will help you buy the tickets.
If you travel to Zhangjiajie or Zhangjiajie West train station there are buses that'll take you to Wulingyuan. They start running at around 7:30. Don't get scammed by expensive taxi drivers.
Then it's a short walk to the hostel from the Wulingyuan bus station.
You can contact the owner of the hostel beforehand and he'll let you know how to get to the hostel. Download WeChat so that you can communicate easily without using VPN. Also, download Amap (works with WeChat location and doesn't need VPN to run). The hostel owner speaks good English, but Chinese definitely makes things easier here. Hope this helps my fellow travellers from outside of China.

I totally loved this place. The owner was very nice and kind, he helped me to get park tickets and guided me with some directions to get to places. The locations is very convenient since it’s right next to the park entrance and 10 minutes walking from the bus terminal. There are a lot of shops and restaurants around the Hostel.

The staff all speak English well, beware the security guard didn't, so if you have business early morning, better finish it on the night.
The mountain view was good, room was clean, lots of shampoo anf soap, bed eas comfortable enough.
The location is good if you have a mean of transport. Just rent scooter next door. It is cheap.
The staff can help you book ticket ) attraction, and taxi to the railway station early morning.
The pool was closed when we visited. The security guard can not speak English (he guards from midnight till morning).
Maybe one downside, the room's interior was quite basic, like a building with no finishing.

Checking in and out were smooth. The guy there was very helpful and ready to answer all questions to make our trip enjoyable. As it was really cold during my visit, they also provided an electric heater (in addition to the air conditioner heater) to help make the room warmer.
The location is really close to the Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, bus stops and bus stations, as well as restaurants and shops.
The room was not as expected, there are blotches of cement in the walls, lights taped to hold it in place, the shower door was not tight that water leaked out during shower, the toilet was wobbly. The windows and door were not tight that cold air stream could come in. In the bedroom it was OK because of the air conditioner and heater, but the bathroom was really cold. The housekeeping was only done when I wanted to and it only entailed throwing out the garbage in the rubbish bins.

Good location, 5 minutes walk to the park entrance. Hostel is clean and comfy. Great customer service!!! For this trip I’ve booked 3 hotels in different price categories and only this hostel informed me in advance about Travel Policies changes, so I could plan my trip according to the new circumstances. Ralph is an awesome host! Very friendly and speaks good English. He helped me with buying tickets and making the routes in the park. I had a great stay here. Highly recommended

What makes the place great is Ralph (the owner). He was a huge help for me and my wife. He helped us to book every ticket that we needed it and even the tickets for the tiamen moutain (were sold out) he could get to us. Also his tips about what to visit around and how to visit were great. The place is normal, clean, good to rest. Me and my wife really recommended this place.
The breakfast is very cheap 10¥, but for our personal tast is not good enough. Just some noodles, 1 boiled egg and some porridge soup and that’s it.

The owner Ralph was super helpful and welcoming giving us good advice on what to see and when given our time frame.
Nothing really.

Excellent stay. Couldn't recommend it enough The concierge Ralph is very hospitable and helpful. He also speaks excellent English and as a former tour guide is very knowledgeable about the park.

Ralph (the owner) was very kind and helpful. He made us feel welcome and was in contact with me before arrival to arrange transportation with a driver. He was easygoing and offered advice about where to go and what to see. Definitely buy tickets for the park from him (the day before, as they are valid from the following day) to save yourself the hassle of buying tickets at the park ticket office. The room itself was comfortable and we had a great rest both nights we slept. The layout of our room made it feel almost like two separate rooms so there was a bit of space and extra comfort for everyone. The surrounding area has some restaurants and shops and is 5 mins away from the park entrance. A didi to more dining and entertainment options is 6~8 kuai at most. Overall a great place to stay and would consider it again in the future.
The bathroom was a bit small and dark, but nothing that couldnt be handled for a short time.

It’s so convenient in terms of location for tourist attractions
The bed was too hard and they didn’t clean my room daily

Close to the park entrance .
Water pressure was a bit low, but apart from that really no complaints.

Ralph was an amazing host. He gave us different routes each day and was helpful in communication via WeChat. He recommended a great restaurant and upgraded our umbrellas. Would definitely recommend.
Nothing - it was fab.

Close to national park entrance. Really useful pieces of advice from the staff about where to go in the park and where to get breakfast. Room could be be well heated with AC.
Using air condition smelled after cigarette smoke (when someone was smoking behind the house).

Across the street from the park's gates, with the cute mountain cottage style interior with very helpful staff
