Convenient location for sightseeing and food

Spacious room and most spacious bathroom I'd ever seen with a jacuzzi inside. I also like the wooden interior.

Very loud noise from the businesses along the river til late at night.

Beautifully stylish and relaxing with great staff

Great location away from town centre but still v close. Lovely stylish decor in room and out. V comfortable beds and super bedlinen/ towels. Staff fabulous.. helpful and cheery. Very restful interior seating area with delightful water feature … not sure about the big fish!! Good shower with lots of hot water, not so sure how to get cold water from hand basin tap. Bottled drinking water, tea/coffee making provided.

I was on the ground floor with a room overlooking the rear terrace/restaurant so I couldn’t open my curtains without people being able to see in … I may as well have booked a cheaper room without windows!! The terrace restaurant didn’t serve any pastry type breakfast item .. croissant, bread .. until after 11am. Not much use when you’re wanting to get out n sitesee.

Good and affordable staff not too far from the centee

Very nice shower and staff were friendly. Foyer is nice too and price is good.

The overall design style is artistic and not bad, but it lacks the refrigerator and the hotel's birthday design tour

Ease for us to walk around, strategic place, add one more fridge then would be good

I love the vibes when I step into the hotel, the hotel is strategic enough ease for us to walk around malacca

There is no fridge which is quite troublesome to us, we brought our own beverage but no fridge to put in

roughly not bad

if the room got fridge will be nicer and the balcony light switch can set at below much more better , the night time wanna enjoy my dinner at balcony but badly don’t have the light outside, a bit upset.

great location - but a few things could be improved

great location, the best in Melaka. big rooms and walking distance into the main town

staff were not very helpful and would only issue one key per room which just dosn’t make sense when travelling as a couple or family. Fridge in the mini bar so we were unable to keep anything cool.

very historical, good stuffs, good place.

very noisy of live sound until midnight 2:00 and very noisy sightseeing boat trip continuously passing on the Melaka river until 23:00. Many mosquitoes inside the rooms, nothing protection from them.

the facility is old. Be careful if you get allocated in the ground floor room next to the water fountain. it is pretty loud if you are a light sleeper

Another great stay. Will keep on coming.

This is the 2nd time I've stayed here in 2 weeks. I'd still use this hotel for every single time when I visit again. A greatr little boutique hotel.

The kitchen wasn't open in the cafe when I went for some food but its not a big deal really since there are so many food places nearby. I wouldn't score it lower for this - just a convenience/laziness thing.

overall is a nice gallery hotel to stay in but some facilities can be further improve.

room is comfortable but if come with a work desk will be better as i am travelling on work basis. without a desk in the room is difficult for me to carry out work in the room after office hours.

the car park will be an issue as the space is extremely tight. the risk of car being knock or scratch accidentally is very high. car park is definitely an issue especially during peak season.

Excellant hotel. Excellent location. Excellent value for money. My new go to hotel for Mallaca.

Far exceeded our expectations. What a fantastic little hotel. Centrally located on the river and with private parking area - a real bonus with the challenges of finding safe parking in Malacca, I will definitely be using this hotel again and recommending it to all my friends.

We booked one standard room and one suite. The suite was about the same size as a standard room and I was told the extra price is for the better view! I wouldn't bother booking the suite again as the extra price didn't justify the difference (even with a bathtub in the suite). The views from the two rooms were pretty bad (terrible from the one room as couldn't open curtains at all as people can look through from next door building, but to be honest the curtains stay closed as you're out all day exploring Malacca anyway.

cleanliness and location.

just Ac needs to be under consistent maintenance as it got some smell from it.But I understand it could be settled if maintenance is done properly.
