Our room was very comfortable, clean and quirky. Little extras like fresh flowers and complimentary bread, milk, butter and fruit was a lovely touch. The host had gone above and beyond with our comfort.
Our room had a beautiful shower room but unfortunately it had a very musty damp smell that was quite overpowering at times so we tried to keep our suite room door open. We were very unfortunate when we stayed as one of the other guests staying in another suite invited over a gang of their friends who took over the communal area and, although they were quite polite, they were very noisy listening to loud music and shouting over the top of it! After they all seemed to use the shower and complimentary food they left the kitchen area untidy with unfinished food and lager cans. I think this type of thing doesn’t usually happen and the owner was quick to react and did message the other guests and they did all leave.

The location was perfect and a great set up for a studio with a shared kitchen
It was a bit warm upstairs

Location perfect for town and train station access. . A little hidden gem of a property with great space inside. So many food and drink options nearby. Styled beautifully. Great complimentary provisions in the kitchen. A very comfortable, welcoming property.
The staircase to the bedroom was steep and a little diffiçult for carrying up heavy suitcase. Also in the night if you needed to go to the bathroom. it would be difficult for elderly or anyone with mobility issue. The bed was a little close to the window on one side , due to small fixed beside shelves, hence making access tight. Hot in bedroom - fan provided wasn't working well.

The communication and comprehensive entry instructions. The overall decor, space and layout of the common room and the private accommodation. The location; so close to the city centre.
Only one minor negative was the comfort of the pull out bed, but we didn't stay long enough for it to be a great issue.

everything was better than expected

Sitting area good. Kitchen facillities good but only used them to boil a kettle and have a banana for breakfast. Hannah, the owner, on the phone, was very friendly and helpful.
I stayed alone in Little House. The bedroom wasn't really a room, just a place in which a double bed just fitted into the space with no more than one foot between it and a drop to the floor below. It was reached by an open staircase with deep risers and a scaffolding pole as a partial handrail. At 81 years of age I felt very wary of coming downstairs to the loo during the night. As it was also very warm up there, I brought the duvet and a pillow down and had a good night's sleep on the sofa.

The property has character and has been very thoughtfully developed and equipped.
It is quiet and private, even with a shared kitchen, although very centrally situated.
There were some nice special touches such as complimentary food basics, face flannels, plenty of glasses.
Only that access is in a narrow street in a busy one-way system with an unusually tight car park.

Key collection had several steps but clear when you got there
Parking very difficult, had to give up and pay to park elsewhere as the parking place is very small and access awkward - this was explained in the information, and the hire car I was given was bigger than I had booked, so didn't fit the space.

The design of the place and no need for keys
I can't really tell.

The owners have a very good aesthetic eye - practicality with artistic flourishes. we also appreciated the welcoming gestures of milk, tea for travelers!
nothing, frankly. we had the Waiting Room, which we used for three people, and its great design really made it work comfortably.

Great central location and beautifully appointed room.
Lovely toiletries provided and the breakfast foods were outstanding.
Odd intermittent industrial hum audible from bedroom

Great location in the middle of town. Unlike most places we have stayed, 2Bare Feet lived up to the promise of their advert 110%.
Nothing. 10 out of 10.

unique style and layout. bathroom is funky. love the rustic feel.
would prefer not to share facilities such as the kitchen, but that was a misreading on my part, everything else was lovely.

it was a cool place and probably the best place I’ve stayed in for a one stay
there wasn’t anything wrong with the property

Very cozy rooms, comfortable space, quiet yet very central in Winchester.
We were very happy to stay there again (we have been guests before), and will return in the future for sure.

The property used a key code. I found this useful as I didn't have to carry a key around. My room also used a key code. The catch is to remember the key code otherwise you can't come in if your phone runs out of battery :-).
This property is very clean and has a Scandinavian touch to it. It seemed like I was the only occupant during my stay so I had the entire kitchen to myself. As the kitchen is communal, you must be a tidy person. Mum's not there to clean after you :-).
The apartment is central. I walked most of the time in and around the city. The train station is a 10 - 15 walk from the apartment. No need for a cab (unless one has a disability). If you fly into Southampton airport, catch the train to Winchester. The train takes 10 - 15 min, then walk.
The path leading to the apartment is dark at night. Although the area is relatively safe, I'd advise you to get there earlier.
There is a security light right above the entrance to the apartment though, which turns on if it detects motion.

close to the centre of town. The provision of eggs, milk and coffee was fantastic. Clean, tidy, could not have asked for more

This was a very lucky find in the heart of the city: super cute, quiet and clean. Easy access by a door code, good communication with the owner throughout. Beautiful flower arrangements, quirky reclaimed wood furniture, good attention to sustainability. We will definitely come back and recommend it to friends too.

A nice location. Everything was spotless. Really nice, well decorated rooms. The bathroom was amazing, very jealous of the shower! Security on the property and rooms is really good too!
Bed for me personally was uncomfortable but the mrs loved it. The stars up to room wasn't finished..actually pinched the bottom of my foot on a split in the wood.

The location was central to the old town and close to eateries and shops. it was nice having a shared kitchen for the three rooms with coffee beans to grind for a French press, eggs, bread for toast, butter and milk. it has a microwave, dishwasher, washing machine and cook top. the decorations were modern and nice, the bathroom roomy and the bed and linens were very co for table. the instructions on how to find the property, along with photos of the coded entrance, really helped.
the bed was a loft bed. while comfortable, the stairs are a bit steep. if you are sleeping on the inside of the. Ed next to the wall, it’s harder to get in because of the low ceiling. you definitely don’t want to have to get up in the middle of the night.
