Great communication with the owner. The home was clean, organized, and spacious. Access to the pools and quiet location were highlights. Highly recommended!

Spent the weekend at Parker to spend some family time and celebrate my daughter's 18th birthday.
Miscommunication with the cleaning crew, and guessing hot tub guy, we did not have the house turned over to us properly, but Deb was apologetic and kept in touch. Being that it was only a weekend didn't push the issue too much, we found our own sheets and emptied their trash.
The hot tub not being ready was a bummer as we didn't have long enough of a stay to calibrate it properly for use.
Waterville Rec center is amazing and made up for the hiccups along the way.

You are definitely in the mountains here and was kind of cool to walk across a bridge to get to the front door. If you have children, definitely try to bring a portable baby gate for the upstairs as it is kind of a split level when you first get in. There are fans in the house so that helps but definitely gets warm during the hot months. We weren’t there as long as we would have liked but we had a great trip and nice house.

Our original rental had some damage and wasn’t available, but the owners gave us an alternative house nearby. The week we picked was extremely hot and humid.
We took advantage of the rec center, but not the private hot tub. It was very quiet and peaceful.

I don’t want to say negative things so I will just say that it needed some love and in correspondence with the owner it sounds like they will address concerns we had but I will not stay in that condo again. Take to heart ALL of the reviews when considering where you want to book. We didn’t.

We went with eight adults. The living dining area were fine and we played a lot of great games here. None of the five tv’s on premises worked, however my brother in law was able to get the living room one going. The floor by the slider was broken and disconcerting to me every time I walked over it. The decks were not conducive for eight people and there was very little outdoor space. There was no gas grill, but there was a park charcoal grill and a dirty charcoal grill, both out front near parking on a steep hill. The bedrooms worked but two were on the smaller side. The hot tub was never opened but was emitting a strong odor. We were told someone maintains it on Friday mornings but we never saw anyone come look at it. The community center was amazing and was the highlight of this trip.

Not like the pictures on websit, found mouse poop in one room, house was very musty and damp, mold on One ceiling bedroom fans would dirty. Had bugs and house. Couple let's stay with us needed to buy new sheets for bed. But house was very close to everything we wanted to go to.

Our Waterville estate stay at Deb and Jim’s home was great!! I have 4 children and brought my mom along with me and my husband. There was more than enough space for us to enjoy. Access to the pools was a great attraction and trails behind the home where older kids could burn some energy was a great mountain activity. The quiet wooded area behind the home was a wonderful change from busy city life/noise. Very peaceful and quiet area! In my opinion, the pools are not with in walking distance from the home but a short 5 minute drive so no inconvenience there. Definitely would recommend this home and would stay again in the future!!

Rained for 3 days but we didnt care. Between the house hot tub, well equipped kitchen, dining area and the recreation center pools, corn hole, gym and friendly staff, everyone had a great time. Younger children loved seeing salamanders, frogs and tadpoles at the pond.

Loved the house and working with Deb everything was clean and organized and she was every communicative in case there were any problems (which there weren't) we especially appreciated the free passes to the rec. center where we enjoyed the pool. Would highly recommend.

Came here with my family and another family for Thanksgiving weekend.
Pros:
- check in/out was super easy
- the rec center was great for the kids to play/swim
- clean house!
- great hot tub (a little outdated but still relaxing)
Cons:
-Toilet upstairs by kitchen was leaking and had to call
- some mice droppings downstairs but Deb had someone out to the house by 10AM the next day
- downstairs bathroom sink leaked. We did email Deb to let her know and placed a towel around it so that it didn't damage the bathroom floors.
- sleeping downstairs is quite loud from the furnace but turned on white noise to drown it out. My husband ended sleeping on the couch due to the noise.
Overall, great stay, nice rec center, and ideal for 2 families.

Deborah and her husband are the friendliest and accommodating human beings ever. The home was clean and all the online pictures matched the in person. The star gazing in the evening was peaceful while allowing for one to center themselves. We noticed a VCR , it didn’t work but when it was mentioned to Deborah, she went beyond and above and had her husband deliver the 1980s VCR the following day. This is a home I’ll be visiting again.

We had a fantastic time at this house. The location was perfect for our main event of hiking. The house was what we expected. It was very clean and had all the little things, paper towels, toilet paper, etc. The Recreation Center was amazing and had an adult hot tub the size of a pool with so many tables and lounge chairs. The area was so quiet and the decks were quite nice. We enjoyed our stay and would come again.

Cared for in Campton
We were pleasantly surprised by the size of this house and all the spaces provided for 3 families, plenty of room! The kitchen has all your cooking needs, large dining room table, bedrooms were a good size, and beds were comfortable.
The children enjoyed playing and exploring the trails outside, or going to the rec center, and pond every day; older adults enjoyed the personal hot tub, choice of pools to swim in(rec center), while those of us who like exploring the surrounding area, went to the vintage arcade, the dam brewery; both close to entrances of Waterville Valley estates and a wonderful horseback ride at Rocky Ridge Range, right off exit 28.
There is so much to do in this area and we look forward to coming back.
Deborah our host was great to communicate with when we had a little issue with passes and that wasn’t even a problem when we got to the rec. center.
If you are looking for a clean, comfy, and convenient place in Campton this is your next vacation location.

Weekend stay.
Perfect weekend stay for after a family wedding. It was nice to stay in a home instead of the hotel.

Beautiful house and location
We had a great weekend here. Two of us skiing (adult and 4), two relaxing at the house (adult and 1). Gorgeous surroundings. A bit of a drive to Waterville (esp in snowstorm). But a beautiful and comfortable home

beautiful property
we loved staying at this lovely property with our family during a perfect late winter weekend

Not great for smaller kids
So the biggest reason we booked was the available beach and pools. Beach/pond is man made and never saw a single person there. Pools were heated however the boilers were broken so they were freezing. Because of this we had to drive at least 30 min north to Lincoln for stuff to do.
There is 0 outdoor space for kids to play here. If you are looking for somewhere for kids to run while you relax in the hot tub look elsewhere. There is about 6 feet of gravel from the house to a cliff.
Bathroom 1 has a shower head that will rip your skin off. Bathroom 2 shower is tiny and not great for bigger taller people.
Everything else is as it appears
Personally I would never go there again.
My overall rating is meh. Could be a lot worse but there’s way better

Tranquil getaway
I needed a short get away that would be safe for my family & 2 closest friends. This place was so beautiful surrounded by all woods, the house was HUGE so we were able to socially distance from our friends but still enjoy a great time!! The owner was amazing with her detailed emails for everything we needed. The house was stocked with everything you may need. The best part was a private hot tub!! Perfect relaxing enjoyable get away!!

Great weekend getaway
Was great weekend. Hot tub was fun. Lots to do except there is a lull between fall and ski season. But had a great time. Our little one isn’t walking so it was ok. But lots of stairs if you have a little walker. Clean and home like feel.

We rented this house with 2 other families. The first night the heat in the lower room did not increase and it took until morning to get warm in the basement (which is where one of the bedrooms is.) The listing advertises 2 queen beds but they are more like full size not queen. Sheets were dirty when we got there and the dishes were less than clean. 1st night was fine but on the 2nd day there was no water. We called the owner who said it was "not a big deal" and did not seem empathetic at all when finding out that there was not going to be water for an unknown amount of time. With 3 families that included toddlers, a pregnant woman, and during a time where cleanliness (COVID, washing hands, dishes, showering, bathing children) is so important the owners just told us to "buy some waters" and haul water from the freezing lake to fill up the toilets. Our friends were renting a home within the same grounds and the property owner there was far more accommodating, so with confidence can state that we feel that we were left without any options. We purchased over four dozen gallons of water and even rented a hotel room at the Days Inn to be able take showers. When we finally had enough and said we were checking out the owner said "do what you have to do" and was not sympathetic at all to what was going on. After we had already checked out, the water came back on some time later that day and the owner refused to refund us even though the apartment was legally not habitable as there was not water. We were not supplied any alternatives to running water, we were not provided alternative accommodation and we were unable to enjoy the amenities which were advertised to us on the VBRO listing. The owner refuses to refund us the full amount that we paid for the days when we didn’t have water and the last day when we checked out early. I tried to call to speak with the owner to resolve this amicably but the owner did not respond

Beautiful location and communicative host
This was a nice house in a lovely location. The host was communicative and helpful, but there were a few things that could have been cleaned more and some problems with the electricity and heating.

Lovely weekend winter getaway
My group and I enjoyed Deborah's home. Her house had everything we needed for the weekend. Less than 30minutes to Loon and only a short distance from Campton Mountain. I would recommend following her directions and not GPS. It was snowing on our drive up and her directions provided us with the least steep way to safely reach the house.

Nice private location that is convenient to anything you might need.
We really enjoyed our stay here. It's a nice private location - we couldn't see any other houses around us - but a short drive to grocery, skiing, etc. We really enjoyed the hot tub and it was well maintained. It was nice staying in a rental where the pillows, sheets, and beds were decent quality. It would comfortably fit 2 families. Communication was quick and check in was super easy. Thank you for such a nice time!

3 stars
Unfortunately did not meet expectations as listed. House was clean and taken care of but lacked a few necessities such as soap in the bathroom, appropriate towels, and the sheets smelled. Overall, these were minor and did not warrant a call or email to the owner. We deducted 2 stars based upon owner fees, house rules, a hot tub check (?) during our stay, and a late check-in. We have traveled with VRBO/HomeAway a few times a year and are using past experiences to set reviews.
