It's easy to vacation here on Manasota Key! Gulf beaches are across the street, with just a 5 minute walk to access the sand, seashells, and beautiful sunsets! This quaint 9 unit, single story condominium is on Lemon Bay with a boat dock that accommodates watercraft up to 17'. Enjoy the heated pool and BBQ area, fish from the dock, or observe manatees and dolphins while enjoying your morning coffee or evening beverage. You can walk to the restaurants and bars featuring fresh seafood and live music. Or you can take Stumpy's Free Ride Shuttle around the key. Although there's plenty of exploring to do on Manasota Key, there's also a lot to see and do off the key. Take a short drive to Old Englewood Village/ Dearborn Street which has unique shops, restaurants, farmers markets, car shows, and festivals. You're also close to Boca Grande, Venice, Sarasota and Punta Gorda.

I stayed here while on a business trip to the area. The condo was very nice and quiet for times I needed to focus. I also enjoyed the easy access to the beach for walks and 15-30 minute breaks. It was a perfect mix.

Great Stay !!
The Condo was very clean, well equipped with every utensil needed plus seasonings and oils needed to prepare a meal after a long day at the beach! Trash bags, aluminum foil, paper towel, tissue paper- nothing was missing. Very nice dock on the bay and right up the road from many beaches to choose from, as well as a nice pool! Washer and dryer were right there at the condo also, as well as all the beach amenities needed for a pleasurable trip! The property manager was very accommodating and very responsive. We would definitely recommend this condo in Manasota Key!!

Little Paradise in Englewood
I wish I could give this rating more than 5 stars. Our experience was simply wonderful! This condo was impeccably kept! Cleanest property I have ever stayed in. The condo is tastefully decorated, the bed was cery comfortable as was the living room furniture.
The location of this condo is perfect! A 5 minute walk to a private beach and Lemon Bay right off of the property. I walked each morning a short walk to watch manatees frolick in the Bay. If you want a relaxing, quiet respite, this is the right condo for you!
Only problem we had was we needed another week or two! We love to hunt for shark teeth; we
traveled to Caspersen and Manasota beaches that were less than a half hour away. We are coming home with many teeth and such great memories!
As to hospitality, the owners were extremely responsive to questions we had. Dana definitely made our first VRBO experience a positive one!
We will definitely be back!

Perfect condo
Great condo, clean and has everything you could need! Comfy bed and pillows. Have to walk about 5 mins to beach or can drive 3 to Publix access and rent loungers for $20/day. We loved it. Great pool. On the bay and watched fish jump and baby shark every morning. Loved our trip!

Perfect Little Gem
Absolutely loved this place. Everything has been thought of including
kitchen utensils, cookware and even spices. Just bring what your palate desires. Very much liked the seating in the living room that included a very comfortable leather recliner sofa. Comfy also applies to the kingsize bed. There is plenty of room to move around in the condo as well an outdoor patio at the entrance door. I hesitate to expound much because I want to make sure that we have a future date available. Definitely a five star.Paved parking lot at front of complex which is a plus, with a very nice pool at the opposite end over looking the dock and Lemon Bay where you can watch the porpoises play. Kudos to Dana and Jim for a well thought out and appointed condo.

Beautiful Condo in Great Location
I stayed here on a solo vacation for one week. The unit was very comfortable and clean. The hosts were awesome. I saw them upon arrival and the next day. They were extremely kind and offered to help me out with some transportation issues I was having. Thankfully it was resolved, but knowing someone was there to help if necessary was a comfort when alone and far from home.
There are 9 adjoining units. I found it to be very calm and quiet. Great pool with warm water. Bed, mattress and pillows were very comfortable, shower has great water pressure, quality towels and linens. Air conditioning worked great. Everything I could have ever needed during my stay was provided. Kitchen fully set with dishes, cookware and small appliances. Coolers, beach wagon, all beach equipment provided, including beach towels. The unit was pretty perfect. Manasota Key is very laid back. Several great restaurants, my favorite was The Lock and Key. Most of the restaurants serve drinks and a few stay open late in the evening and have live music. I only came across 2 souvenir shops. The beaches were beautiful. Unfortunately I was there during Red Tide and couldn’t swim in the water. This was my biggest problem with this trip, but it couldn’t be helped, so I tried to make the best of it. I spent my time at the beach hunting sharks teeth. I found over 400!
Stump’s Pass was my favorite beach.
I highly recommend this rental and I hope to return to stay again.

This condo was terrific! Dana thought of everything when it comes to items you don’t generally carry with you on vacation such as bikes, fishing poles, nail kit, tee is cups, beach towels that fit the lounge chairs, two kinds of coffee pots, spices, etc. the location in proximity to Englewood Beach and restaurants was also very convenient. Thank you for making this a great place to vacation/visit!

Quit looking now and hit book! I have used vrbo forever and this has down was the cleanest condo we have ever seen. Dana and her husband were awesome. The location is great you have access to the intercostal along with bikes and kayaks! The pool was always clean and heated. The beach is just right across the road. The beach is so quiet there too. This place is a hidden gem.

Beautiful and relaxing week
Dana thought of everything we needed to have a wonderful time. The condo is spotless, well stocked with everything needed to be comfortable. We really appreciated all the beach equipment available. We enjoyed using the bikes and kayaks. The pool and outdoor space was well maintained. The others staying at Sea Oats were very friendly and welcoming. We loved being able to enjoy both Eve bay and the private beach. All the restaurants were within walking distance and served great food. We will definitely stay again.

A hidden gem!
This was our second time staying as a family of 5 at Sea Oats Unit #5! We love how Dana has absolutely everything you need for your beach vacation & everything needed to cook a meal or dessert! She is always available to answer our questions & is the nicest person to work with!! This condo is close to lots of beaches & has a pool on the property, which we enjoyed daily! It also has a beautiful dock on the bay to fish off of, kayak off of or even dock a boat on! While on our vacation we got to see a sea turtle nest hatch, saw manatees & even a few dolphins. We will definitely be coming back again to this hidden gem!

A perfect spot for us
I have been too the key a few times before. I chose Dana and Jim’s property for the location and a few key features. I also was very appreciative of Dana’s personal care of us. She responds to emails within minutes and they live two minutes away. The property is clean and has everything down too extra dish soap. The king bed was great, we slept like babies. The gulf is a short walk and the pool is secluded and warm. We would come back in a heartbeat too this property and the wonderful owners.

Sunny Sea Oats
This was a very enjoyable stay. Having been to the Key several times in the past, this was the first stay in a condo vs. a private home. While the pictures are 100% accurate, the unit is larger than envisioned. This is a CLEAN, comfortable unit with all the amenities you could hope to be supplied with in a rental. Dana and Jim have thought of everything. We had a wonderful, relaxing time at the 4 beaches on the Key and also made several trips to the beaches in Venice. We rented a boat for several days from Skip's Marina and were able to dock it at Sea Oats. The grill was nice to have for the nights we felt like eating in.
There are 9 units here and while some were occupied, we still felt like we were on our own 'private' property. Thank you Dana and Jim!

Quiet, relaxing getaway.
Property was well kept. No complaints at all. Community is nice, we visited during the off season. Easy access to beaches or relaxing by the pool. It was a rainy week, odd for Florida, plenty to explore and do with a 2 hour drive or less. Owners very accommodating. Return trip will be in the future.

Paradise Found Here at Sea Oats By The Bay
WOW...We have never stayed in a place where it was so stocked with anything and everything you could ask for. And VERY CLEAN!! Dana and Jim are outstanding hosts and we enjoyed meeting and spending time with them. They are down to earth people and attended to every request immediately, no matter how minor. The beaches were close and one is within walking distance. To our delight we saw things at the beach that we never saw before : -)....quite memorable for us. The dock was enjoyable to fish off of or just relax on the bench and take in the wildlife that inhabits Lemon Bay. Manatees were spotted from time to time cruising around the dock. The pool was awesome! We spent many hours relaxing there enjoying the Florida sunshine and bright blue skies. Delicious well prepared food at restaurants on Manasota Key and right off the Key made for some great dining experiences. Easy to navigate area where you can't get lost. What more could you want?? The Gulf water is many shades of turquoise blue and the beaches are full of shells and we actually found fossilized shark teeth! Spectacular sunsets over the Gulf! We miss it already. This was our first trip to the West Coast of Florida and we will definitely be back to stay at Sea Oats By The Bay. We had a wonderful relaxing time. Till we meet again. Best Wishes. WONDERFUL!
We have stayed at several VRBO properties all over the country, and this by far was the best. Very comfortable, clean and well appointed.
Towels, linens, furnishings and beach gear were top notch.
Dana and Jim (owners) were very responsive to our needs, and bent over backwards to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed.

This was our second visit this year, and it was every bit as nice as our first...even a little better because we had use of Dana and Jim's peddle boat this time, and what fun! The unit is spotless and so accommodating and comfortable. We wish we lived there!! The pool is great with perfect water temperature. Overall wonderful!
What a great place! With only nine units, it felt so private and serene. Everyone we did meet was very nice. Sea Oats is like a small hidden, beautiful gem. We've stayed at several other places in Manasota Key, and this has been our favorite so far. Our unit #5 was super clean and the bed was oh so comfortable. Dana had made sure you have everything you might need. And the pool was very clean with lots of chairs...so refreshing during the day, yet it felt just right in the evening. You can enjoy your coffee out on the dock in the mornings with the sun shining on you with that perfect breeze, and then hit one of the beaches later on (we like Middle Beach because of the free parking and sometimes it's less crowded). We saw dolphins on three separate occasions. It's just a beautiful area. And the food at all the local restaurants was delicious. Would highly recommend this rental!!
